very tasty pita chicken soulvaki. calamari slightly overpriced but tastes good as well. this place is getting a 5/5 rating due to the excellent customer service. restaurant was packed on a Saturday night and the host managed to keep us in the loop on our order status although our order was relatively small compared the others. I will definitely go back here

Thorough screening of vaccine passports. Tables were placed a bit too close together - plexi glass between tables would have helped. The service was on the slow side but it seemed that there was only 1 server for the entire restaurant. The kids sized meals are huge! I had the chicken souvlaki with potatoes and rice. The fries (from our kids’ meals) were perfect. The potatoes were soft though a bit on the bland side. My pork was a tad dry. The tzatziki was sooo good. My rice was yummy though random grains were not cooked and very hard.

The blond lady welcome us we all ordered fried calamari dinners which was delicious and they made it the perfect amount of crispness🥰 and the tzatziki sauce was so delicious😍 overall quite happy with the food and service.

The chicken souvlaki was cooked perfectly, the tzatziki was a generous portion and out server Ray was very pleasant to have as a server.

Wow, just wow. Is this what passes as "Greek"? Ayayaya, the food was pretty terrible. The worst was the calamari; it was overdone and in really old or bad quality oil. The "pita" bread is just gummy naan bread. Garlic bread is sub sandwich bread with garlic butter spread in it. The "beef souvlaki" is just beef kabab with no seasoning or spicing against. Lamb chops are more fat than meat. The only thing that was decent was the rice, veggies, and potatoes. Tzatziki was horrendous. I can't believe I spent as much money as I did. Never again.

Very busy on Saturday night. Alex was our server she was very friendly but you could tell that they needed more servers. Only appeared to be 3 servers for whole restaurant. She was serving a large party next to us (20 people) which took most of her attention but still was able to give us good service considering she had several other tables. Management needs to step up, servers cannot give good service unless they are backed up and well staffed. Food tasted good would go back but only for lunch never dinner on the weekend again.

We decided to give this place a shot and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was quite courteous and polite, the server (I believe her name is Gamse) maintained a smile on her face throughout our stay and the food was quite flavorful. Keep up the good work guys.

Fantastic food. The chicken was tender, friends were fresh and crispy and the salad was delicious. One of the best Greek meals I've had. Service was also fantastic and very efficient. Thank you!

Did not enjoy my meal. I ordered the Greek Pork entree with rice and potatoes. The food was very bland and definitely not worth the price. Tasted like something I would get at a mall food court as opposed to a restaurant.

We tried take out from there yesterday. We ordered Large Chicken and Pork Souvlaki with a side of potatoes and fries , it also included Greek salads. We were disappointed, the meat portion was small and they only gave us 2 pitas. The pork was tough and it was so overcooked that it was crunchy on top. The chicken was also a bit tough and the salad was too sour from excessive vinegar in the dressing. The rest of the food was average. The meat was cooked to order because we had to wait for 30min so it should have been cooked properly . Also place was dead and staff were standing around so I don't see a reason as to why food couldn't be prepared better.

We were looking forward to a special celebration dinner but were disappointed with shrimp meal. Very skimpy meal with hard potatoes. Stick with Greek salad and calamari which was excellent.
They tried to compensate but offered coffee which was cold.
Service was poor-.
They were nice but we're obviously short staffed.

We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. It was consistently good, until last night.
The service was extremely slow even though it was not busy. We had to wait for service from the time we walked in until we paid our bill.
We ordered a lamb souvlaki medium rare. When it arrived, half of it was well done. They replaced that with a few pieces of medium rare.
My chicken souvlaki was very bland as well as the rice and potatoes.
While we were excited to have a Greek restaurant open up in Vaughan, especially one with the reputation of Astoria on the Danforth, this has now become a disappointment.
Tonight we went hunting for Greek salad and found Astoria Shish Kebob House. We started with a Greek side salad with a generous portion very nice feta cheese; salty and creamy. The Mrs. had the pork souvlaki, which had a nice little crunch on the outside, and was tender on the inside. She ordered the small souvlaki, which was more than enough. I went for the moussaka. Although I think the ground beef could have used a bit more seasoning, it was still a very good moussaka.
