This is a nice place to get some shopping. They have a lot of higher end brands and products. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Good selection of items but finding a helpful clerk can be hit or miss. If at first you don’t get a helpful clerk, definitely try to find someone else. There are really a few great people wanting to help.
The employees are very helpful! The store is very well organized! They have cosmetics products, home essentials, kitchenware and so much more!
Their return policy is great as well! They often have great sales! Their washrooms are clean and hygienic! This is one of my favourite stores for browsing things!

Decent size with many various of merchandise. Sometimes there's some good deal on sale. Quiet atmosphere. Came here couple time for shopping, it was good experience. Convenience location.
The Hudson Bay always displayed beautifully nice and clean staff very helpful, but the outside not so nice not so beautiful entrance ways to get into the store smell like urine upon getting near the doors. You’re approached for money people loitering it’s a shame. The beauty of this exterior has been destroyed with graffiti and garbage laying around and also the stench of urine.
Where you can find everything at the same place. They have so many option of the best brands. There is a nespresso store inside where you can buy the machine or coffee pods. For home decor products I recommend checking out for their special sales. They always have an event sales offering 50% discounts. The week after Christmas you can find all seasonal products on sale as well with 50% off. The basement floor you will find Forever 21.
Had a great price on luggage. Very clean store with just about everything you need.
The iconic department store, their flagship location in downtown Vancouver, continues to evolve. The newest addition (summer 2022) is the Levi's shop-in-shop. During January (2023) The Bay is having a massive clearance sale on the Basement floor.
My visit to the Chanel boutique within Hudson’s Bay Centre downtown Vancouver was such an enjoyable experience. I’m not usually compelled to leave reviews but I could not let this great experience pass without comment.
The account manager who looked after me, Brooklyn Acosta, gave me the most outstanding customer service. She went above and beyond, from listening and understanding my skin concerns and makeup preferences, making recommendations and most importantly taking the time to explain the benefits of each product as it pertained to my needs without ever making me feel rushed. Her knowledge and kindness will remind me to shop at this particular Chanel Boutique in the future. Ask for Brooklyn!

Good, clean store with quality clothes, nice food court at the basement level. Friendly and helpful staff. Well located with bus stop and taxi stand just across the street.
The Bay in downtown Vancouver is my go to place for so many things. From a great bedding department to the incredible men's clothing floor, I never walk away without what I need. Their staff is always quick to help, and always with a professional and kind attitude. It is a real pleasure everytime.
Great department store with lots of space and items. The building itself is a heritage building and as a result is not as luxurious as say Nordstrom’s in the mall but it has a much more cozy feel. 6 floors of merchandise from clothing to makeup to furniture to toys. The sales staff are friendly and ready to help, mine was able to extend a sale that no longer applied to the clothing a bought. Easy to get to as it has buses stopping right in front and skytrain station beside it.
It is a department store in downtown Vancouver. It is one of the oldest department stores in Canada. Few years ago an American company bought it. It is very clean and organized.
