We’ve been to Boston Pizza so many times but I have yet to write a review on it! This post is a collection of many visits and our go-tos whenever we come here.
This is my second BP outlet and I just simply live the different types of Pizza they have here. This time we also ordered a vegetarian bowtie pasta and absolutely loved the flavours. Highly recommend this place.
good service when I went there. Loved my server, she was very great to talk to. Food came out very fast and it looked great. It was very delicious as well
Hmmm… am I the only one who thought that Boston Pizza actually started in Boston? Turns out that this franchise actually started in Alberta, Canada back in the sixties. Boston Pizza has a bunch of locations in Metro Vancouver – this particular location is just off of Grandview Hwy. We ordered the Boston Royal on a thin multigrain crust, a signature pizza with smoked ham, pepperoni, shrimp, olives, green pepper, onion, mushrooms and mozzarella. We added pineapple to the pizza and got the special (large for the price of a medium $34.28).
One of better Boston Pizzas. I like going to Boston Pizzas for Pasta Tuesday and this location is a good one to go to. Their pizzas and pastas are ok but on Tuesday on special, I don't mind paying $9.95 or so for one of their pasta dishes. I also like getting a bite size brownie with ice cream (for $3 something). You and your loved one can dine well for $30 or so and can even take leftover home.
But on regular days, not sure I want to pay that much at Boston Pizza.
FAVORITE: Pierogi Pizza with sour cream (& green onions). In the Greater Vancouver area, Boston Pizza is one of those comfort food chain establishments that you consistently have for a nice dining experience with family or friends. Like White Spot around town for burgers and popular west coast dishes (read: not pizza), the food is generally good and fulfilling. The servers are pleasant and efficient in a friendly atmosphere.
On the Sunday evening that we enjoyed at the Grandview Highway restaurant, the manager was entertaining guests by making balloon poodles for kids at various tables....for my grown up (adult) kids it was a favourite: Pierogi Pizza with sour cream and green onions. (You have to try it!).
SIDE NOTE: Next door to Starbucks so free WiFi is possible... (So I could post my review to you).
