Delicious! Family owned and served. Everytime i come here, I get something different and every single time, it never ceases to amaze me. This place has all of the Vietnamese staples like Bun Bo Hue, Pho, Hu Tieu, and Chicken Curry. And they do all of them well! Service is awesome, waitresses are very friendly. Environment is clean, well maintained and well managed. The family oriented aspect really becomes apparent in how the owners care about their service and their food. Definitely one of the best places in Vancouver for Vietnamese !
I had the well done beef in noodle soup and it was very tasty. I would come back again because the price was reasonable and the wait time was very short.
Pretty good pho place that's open late (4am?) 7 days a week with cheap prices. It's currently our go-to for late night eats. There is a lot more on the menu than just pho, but we've only had pho there. The pho has been getting more greasy lately every time we go. Maybe a new chef?
• service was good and very fast
• drinks took a little while longer to be served than the food.
• for future reference, they only accept debit and cash!
I come here whenever I'm in Burnaby during late hours. Would recommend!
This place supposedly opens 24 hours but it's close enough. Usually till 3am or 4. They just revived their menu a bit and added new items.
The classic combo A is good, comes with a spring roll. They just added their new beef satay. Really tasty, nice crunch with the nuts, good spice going. That satay is just on the limit on oiliness but even then, still good flavors going on. The fish cake and dill broth soup is good... Although the fish cakes are on the thin side, just a bit.
One of the classics, been here for almost 5 years. Used to be open 24 hours but luckily for the staff, close at 4am.
They're actually known for their bbq, so still a good place to get your summer fix.
And their #33 is their signature fish soup.
Cash or debit.
I love the friendly service and the great food that keeps me warm late nights. A new favourite.
In search of a 24 hour restaurant, that was open on a holiday; we turned to pho places and took a safe gamble driving down Kingsway in search for one. The block we stopped at yielded two results. The larger of the two was closed at 12am and saw no customers, so by default we found ourselves at the end of the corner. It smelled good walking in and at 11:30pm the establishment was fairly busy, from these two factors alone we were optimistic. Even more reassuring was the people continuing to come in as we were on our way out after 12:30am. Being out of the way, I figure you need to know about this place and be coming here specially for it. From the exterior the white barred windows seen uninviting. A barrage of criss crossing metal, excessive window stickering, and the additional neon signs out front hindered views in and out. The decor was working hard on a budget, giving the place a fresh tropical vibe. The room was scattered with flowers and greenery of all sorts. Several Hawaiian-like
I'm always amazed at the variety of cuisines we have in Vancouver. What amazes me more is the variety of regional Asian cuisine. I was lucky enough to come across Trường Thành…a northern Vietnamese restaurant specializing in Bún Riêu Cua (crab-past
Similar to my trip to Tung Hing Bakery, I west driving westbound on Kingsway and Truong Thanh was on the south side of the street. That meant doing some wacky driving around to end up on the south side other street. Sigh, when will I learn… Anyway, when I
