Why haven't I known?!. I've walked past this unassuming bakery so many times and never thought to look past their turtle bread sitting in the window. Heard that they had sandwiches so popped in for one for my train ride. I am addicted to their salami and swiss sandwiches! So simple and perfect.
Great place!. Great coffee and great desserts and very friendly staff. I did not try their sandwiches, but they did look good. Next time
Love this place;. I love this place! Just went there this weekend to escape rain and seasonal bla...Sat at the corner, day dreaming about my last trip to Europe while letting chocolate hazelnut cake do its work of carrying me away. Love the decor - very unique and eclectic. Food is authentic and always fresh. Totally recommend this place. I am surprised at the last posting as I treat myself to the almond croissant almost every w/e and it has never disappointed me.
Little Escape to France. After my trip to France this summer, I was craving the taste and smell of fresly made pastries, sandwiches, breads together with uniquness that every Boulangerie in France has. I finally found that authentic feel and taste in Vancouver at the Boulangerie La Parisienne. The owner told me that everything in the store is freshly baked at their own offiste bakery on Franklin street. They also supply the best hotels and restaurants in Vancouver. I was suprised at how affordable everything was there. It is also a great spot for seeing and be seeing :)
