Fire Pizza never disappoints. I love their for their unique toppings, like seafood, potatoes, and even broccoli. I never would've thought to put potatoes on seafood but man, it tastes so good! Same goes for the broccoli. It's lightly charred on the top which gives it a smokey flavour. Mmmmm. I'm drooling as I type this.
Best part yet? Everything is reasonably priced. You can get two slices of their pizza along with a drink for only $5. I try my best to stop by Fire Pizza when I'm in the Commercial area (yes, even when I've already eaten too... guilty!)
If you're looking for cheap, fresh pizza in the area this is the stop. Match that with a wide variety of pies to choose from and you've got one of my favourite places to grab a quick snack in all Vancouver but I'll admit to having a simple palate and a love of pizza.
Not much to talk about in terms of the interior, just some stools to sit on and a few metal chairs outside but their variety is unmatched! As a vegetarian I always get the spinach and feta and the absolutely loaded up spicy mushroom. So good!
Great place if you want some funky, original pizza flavours with a dash of quantity & freshness on top!
Its not a thick bread type pizza, so you eill taste the bounty of toppings each slice comes with. Granted I like my pizza thin bread, I would have liked a little more chew in it than I got. But I would take this over any thick crust any day.
Few of the toppings include cheese but parmesan can be added after a quick toast from the oven. It would have be nice to have a little olive oil as an option too. 😊
Best pizza on Commercial Drive! Hands wayyy down! This hidden gem serves up super thin crust pizza loaded with generous serving of REAL ingredients and it’s affordable! There is so much variety that it will please both the meatlover and meatless crowd. Beautiful ingredients paint this pizza like a work of art.
I'm not a big fan of pizza but I could be convinced if the choice is Fire Pizza. The pizza is so good and the ingredients are fresh and in big chunks. Tried the stir fry pizza and it's so good . There's lots of broccoli, spinach, mushrooms and potatoes on top. Must go and it's inexpensive too !
Pretty tasty pizza ... My favourite is too take slices to go then heat at home, Variety slices, spinach and feta, sausage and honey mustard, capicallo, also lots of veggie options
Honestly shocked at the bad reviews. Any pizza place in the vicinity does not compare to the quality and price of Fire Pizza! I would call myself a regular and I've never had an average-or-less quality slice from here before. You guys are the best!! And thank you for staying open so much later than the others as well!! :)
I've been to Fire Pizza three times. Every time I eat at fire pizza I always notice the dead pizza place next door. They sell pizza for the same price as Fire pizza. For every 5 Customers in Fire Pizza there would be one customer next door. This shows how good Fire Pizza is. Definitely one of the better pizza places. $2.14 a slice. or $4.76 for 2 slices and a Pop at time of writing.
Exceptional pizza for exceptional price. No idea how they can possibly making money. Mushroom + bacon or mushroom capicolli are top notch. More proof that vancouver has the best fast pizza joints in canada (no i do not live in van)
Spinach Feta Pizza. Add feta, lemon juice and chili flakes for premium experience.
BEST. EVER.. Fantastic! Delicious pizza with a wide variety of toppings. Great price too. You won't regret it!
A slice above the rest. I've lived on the same black as fire pizza for the last year. I'd say I've eaten there roughly 100 times. The business is family owned and appears to be run very well. The pizza is great, a cut above the other affordable pizza places in Vancouver in my opinion.
Best pizza by the slice. Best quality. they could charge 5x the price and i would still eat there. i don't know how they can afford to use such great ingredients in abundance for so cheap. and the owners are so friendly. i love this place.
My favourite by the slice shop. I must confess I haven't had Uncle Fatty's pizza lately, but in terms of dollar pizza places in Vancouver this is the best quality at a reasonable price.
Love it!. Yummy vegetarian pizza made better by the nice family that run it. Thin crust, tasty, presented well. This where our family get pizza on the drive as it's the best.
Yum. We LOVE Mediterranean Fire! It's definitely our go-to place in the 'hood. We have ordered there at least once every 6 weeks since it opened. The service has always been wonderful and friendly and efficient! Lots of creative vegetarian options!
My new favourite pizza!. Move over, Uncle Fathi's. You have been replaced in my pizza pantheon by Mediterranean Fire.
It's partly on price performance -- you can still get two slices and a can of soda here for $4 -- what Fathi's USED to charge, before they got greedy. Basta, Fathi's! The new cheap-slice champion is Med Fire.
Plus, this joint has lifted its game. I was lukewarm on Fire the first time I tried it, because as another reviewer noted, it was kinda dry, the cheese was skimpy compared to Pizza Hut or even Fathi's, and the crust was cardboardy. On more recent visits, Med Fire has seemed cheesier. The toppings are more generous than I remember -- the meat-lover's slice is overflowing with pepperoni and hunks of sausage. Some of the standard-price slices like the potato have so much on top that I had a hard time eating them, and I'm a glutton. Med Fire also has some deluxe slices, like the lamb pizza, that are more expensive than the 2-for-$4. There's generally a wide selection to choose from with the standard and deluxe pies.
Added bonus -- they throw the slices into the pizza oven for a quick warm after you order them. Fathi's doesn't do that, but they do such volume that it's not usually necessary. Maybe that's not valid any more, because when I ride by Fathi's these days, it's not as packed as it used to be before the jacked the price. I say good onya Med Fire!
