Salty tongue cafe is a very nice cafe and the ambiance of this cafe is vibrant and really beautiful.the prices are also very reasonable and the food is tasty and delicious served with a smile by their staff
Lost my business will not go back. After an unfortunate experience at Salty Tongue I will no longer be giving them my business. It was during a busy lunch hour where I experienced the management being verbally abusive towards a hard working staff member. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. When I asked the staff member who that was yelling at them they stated it was the owner. I was disgusted and I felt awful for the staff and for the customers.
Fun lunch spot. Had a tasty meatball sub here for lunch today. The Sammy was really tasty, with a nice sprinkle of cheese and some chopped basil. I also had a latte (they use Stumptown beans), which was competently prepared.
A couple of notes: the counter staff were really helpful, and though there was a crowd waiting for their food when I arrived, the kitchen was flying and I got my lunch about 5 mins after ordering it. The long table was full of other people dining solo, like me, but it didn't feel like a cafeteria and I didn't feel like I needed to leave as soon as I was finished. I also liked that the order counter was by the front door, and the tables for eating in were behind a glass wall towards the back of the restaurant.
