Himalaya Restaurant was so fantastic that we forget ahat we are in Canada. The quality, of food, space in restaurant, service space, nature of staff as well as counter display look like as we are in India and take our food in in India. Space was so much that our both group having 98 member's eat at a time as well as some other peoples also taken their food with us.
Location: 49 Metrotown bus to Main Street
Ambience: You can watch Indian tv series 😛
Food : Chhole bhature is a must must try ! Decent samosas n jalebi n papdi chat . Buffet is really good here but not a fan of their individual curry items.
Price is decent.

Consistently a comfortable nutritiious
and delicious steam table fare.
I go there all the time. Unpretentious, predictable and affordable. A good place for samosas to go!
Not sure they follow food safe but best damn food for over 20 years
Good Value. It's just like their other location on No. 5 Road in Richmond. It's not great Indian food, the selection is modest, but they do a very good job nonetheless. For most people, the fact that they have decent butter chicken will probably satisfy most of that curry craving. If that doesn't entice you, what about the fact that it's cheap?
The restaurant also has its own bakery with a very wide selection (that's not part of the buffet) and can satisfy your sweet tooth.

Along Main Street, there’s quite a number of Indian buffets that will stuff you silly for between $9.99 and $12.99; Himalaya is no exception! Starting light, sort of, I got myself some chick peas and cucumber. The rice is your standard steamed basmati rice, so we’ll skip that. The cauliflower curry lit a wildfire in my mouth, though it was incredibly tasty; needed about 3 cups of water to put it out (lightweight with spicy food, here!). The peas and cheese curry was interesting in that the cheese tasted a l
