A coworker bought me the coconut almond vegan muffin and i also had the pumpkin cranberry vegan muffin. Both muffins were very good and for that i would go back there again for the yummy vegan muffins.
They have the best chai lattes - made with real spices and not that liquid stuff in a box. Also most baked goods (from earl grey shortbread to white chocolate matcha brownies) are made from scratch in-house!
Nice cafe. Friendly staff. Good music! Tea prepared with respect for the tea!
Baked goods were delicious and my London Fog was a dream! Not to mention the staff was wonderful! ❤

I was blessed by a macchiato by the curly haired barista here a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a second one immediately. Best coffee I've ever had, still dream of it to this day.
Super friendly staff, and best expresso pull I've had anywhere!
Silver Spring - Maryland - the hand coffee was delicious
The best spot for a cup of coffee. Highly recommend it
We were in the neighbourhood, so we decided to check out the cafe. I had actually been invited to their grand opening at their Granville location, but I was too busy at the time to attend. So it was nice to finally be able to check them out. It’s a small hipsterish cafe. Simple decor and furniture.
Oh. Dear. Lord. YES.
I don't know how many ways I can say this. Go here! The coffee we had was fantastic. The service was great, and the crowd seemed like real people. Everyone was friendly, and it had that comfy Cafe vibe.
Its on par with Revolver in terms of the Brew quality. The notes in the coffee really came across -- fruity, spicy, citrusy notes that you normally can't taste elsewhere.
We are in love with this place, and it was worth the hour long commute.
We'll be back! Can't wait to see you guys again!
What a great cafe! run by friendly staff who show love in the product they make and serve. If I had to choose one place on Commercial as my neighbourhood cafe--it would be this one.
Well-made, tasty coffee with a nicely chosen selection of treats, many made in house. The staff is kind, the space is welcoming, and the vibe is neighbourly.
Quality coffee, baked goods, along with a great atmosphere. Love this coffee shop! Wifi is available but unfortunately there are no sockets to plug in computers.
Strong as crema. I like assertive coffee, the kind with a punch from crema, but not the burn of bitterness. The cappucino I had from Bump n Grind gave me what I liked. It was medium-sized, less than 300 ml for $3.50, but it wasn't over-milky. There was a nice brown ring of crema atop the not-overwhelming amount of foam on top. (The barista spun me a nice coffee flower as cup art.) That crema flavour permeated the coffee, too. It was punchy without being nasty and over-espressed. I was happy with it, and there aren't a lot of coffee outside of Australia that make me happy.
Real nice coffee ...can't stick around.. I usually prefer a more saturated finish to my coffee, but I very much enjoyed my Americano here this past weekend. Gonna try the clover next time. My mate was impressed with the Latte. We liked the music, but found it a tad too loud to have any conversation and honestly, the seating here is not inviting. I'll be back for another drink and the cheerful service that comes with it!
Cute Little Place. Really good americano ... no bitterness and bold bold bold! baked goods looked yummy, which I will have to try next time. atmosphere is comfy and great tunes playing.
Sooo good!. Good sevice and even better coffee. It is too bad that veryone doesn't know about this place. If you like coffe then you should try it out, you won't regret it.
Great coffee, unpretentious. Ah finally! A coffee shop in my neighborhood with friendly service and great coffee. Ordered the chai latte and I can smell and taste the cloves/cardamoms. That's how you make a chai latte.
Haven't tried their treats/morsels, but next time I will. The furnishings are simple, comfortable and welcoming. I love the dark wood and the coffee shop's table planters gave me a good idea on what to do with my cloches collections.
: )
EXELLENT COFFEE!!. Ok,,, I love this place. I know my coffee and this cafe is where to go if you do too.The owners are the nicest and coolest people around .They are very friendly and knowledgeable about what they serve, which is a good thing. They also showcase local artists art work in the shop and have a in house Dj spinning music which is aewsome. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who loves a great cup of coffee to go there and try it.
Bump it up. . .. The surroundings of Bump and Grind give away that this is a little more counter culture then your usual fair. The café boasts a couch full of vocabulary one large table and a few smaller ones with art that changes on a monthly basis. The café has one of the most interesting art installations a while back where the entire café was covered in "2000 pages of handwritten study notes from a Doctoral Candidate" in political science. It was one of the best art displays in a coffee shop, I had ever seen.
DJ can now be seen in the cafe spinning vinyl on the turn tables in the back on the weekends and during the week Joe and Audrey seem to always have something funky playing in the shop.
Best coffee around!. I love the coffee here! Good coffee is a hard thing to come by and I am very glad to have found this place. The staff know their stuff and are happy to chat. They serve 49th Parallel coffee on a Synesso (espresso machine) a Clover (best coffee machine ever!) and French Press all of their daily brew. It is very apparent they take coffee seriously, but with no attitude.
The ambiance is very cozy, couches, retro tables, cool lights, great art and music.
Highly recommend the Bump N Grind people!
Bump and Grind is a saucy joint that has been open for a couple of years on the northern most edge of the Drive.
