Excellent service, and we truly enjoyed the food and cocktails. Since my friend and I are travelling, the wait staff helped us pick some food with local flavours and a few Canadian drinks. I highly recommend it!
Decent service, pleasant atmospheres, and with great wings. I love their wings specials but too bad they took the flavour east van zingers off the menu!
The name says it all really! Caught up with a friend here for a long overdue catch-up. Normally I find maple-flavoured food disgusting, but our maple bourbon wings were a pleasant surprise for Viraj's taste-buds. Also absolutely LOVED my salt and pepper wings (can't go wrong with the classics). Good beer specials and a surprisingly spicy chicken quesadilla to top things off food-wise. Ambiance was standard, and our server was prompt and friendly. Would recommend this location, and looking forward to my next visit.
i like their hot and BBQ chicken wings.staff are very hospitable. They have happy hours too.i can say it is great place for wings night!!really recommended
This is a great place for wing night. The prices are very cheap for eating massive amounts. Sport events can be very packed here. The flavors on the menu are very unique. Service is generally prompt and efficient. The ambiance is very nice, kinda like "ah just got off work let's huck a few wings back with beer watching the canucks feel"
We came here in a group of four to grab a quick dinner when the Grey Cup final was on. There was a little raffle going on for anyone that ordered a drink, which gave you a chance at some small prizes whenever a team scored a touchdown. That was kind of interesting, and along with our server made the meal a bit more interesting. The wings menu had a large selection of flavours, so we ordered a few pounds of different kinds. Prices seemed kind of high, but the wings themselves were tasty enough, if a bit dry. Overall this is a decent choice for those in the mood for some wings.
I wish I discovered this place sooner for happy hour which runs from 2pm-5pm everyday! I cannot say no to cheap wings! My personal favourites are honey garlic, chilean chili, and buffalo!
Went here before sending off my frien'ds farewell, and so my experience over here have pretty much stayed the same,
just beside howard johnson, the wings, have more than 15+ flavors for sure, and the prices are quite pricy in my opinion, but with that being said, it's also justified with the wings coming with flavors that are quite memorable and the juiciness and tenderness of the wings are definitely good. bobby wings are definitely the spiciest, i think it's worth to give it a try, i wouldn't order them, but they are definitely memorable.
overall, i would recommend this place as they have quite some consistency in making delicious wings, as far as the times that i went there, and also the prices are a bit on the higher end, but it's good to treat yourself something good once in a while. so definitely worth it.
My wife and I have been here when it has been extremely busy during cAnuck games and on Saturdays for lunch, the wings are always exceptional and the servers great, of course during a game the service is lacking but this is too be expected in any sports bar in Vancouver
Brace yourself.... The Wings of Fire were so frickin hot that it was uncomfortable. The thing is; that's not their hottest sauce. The Salt and Vinegar wings are the bomb.
Go on Sunday. The Wings in Surrey is good food...but I find it to be a little on the pricey side. If you go on Sunday, the wings are $0.39 each, but expect to wait 30-45 minutes for a seat on Sunday evening.
Their Fiji Blonde beer goes awesome with their Wings...
While I love their wings, my wife doesn't care so much for the rest of the menu. Most fried stuff, or overpiced salads...

It's been a while since I have been to "Wings". Today it was a convenience stop for, you guessed it: wings. You can go any where for wings: any chain restaurant or any pub or bar. It is a North American staple. It makes for a great quick snack and a satisfying side to a pint. And this is exactly what "Wings" delivers on. Being named after this menu item suggests they know what's what in the world of wings. And if the last page of the menu is any indication, they can help you with any wing related craving. Their wings menu is a listing of 23 different flavour combinations partnered with geographic names and multicultural spices. We travel the world from Bombay to Italy. Stop in Greece, and pass through Korea and Mexico. Only to continue on towards, Jakarta and Chili. And end our journey closer to home in Louisiana, Chicago, and Texas. Their glossary explains what is new, what is spicy, and which of their sauces is the juiciest. Like most people we got the classic honey garlic wings.
It was TaiwaneseGirl's Birthday, so she quickly put together a small party at Wings on Granville. The only time we could make a reservation was 6pm or before. I guess it's a policy. Good thing we did make reservations because it was quite full. There were other large groups as well. They usually show Hockey games, but the day we went was not a Canucks game, so the place was not jam packed. If you are coming here for a Canucks game, there is a HUGE screen in the back of the restaurant. No birthday party is complete without a pitcher of beer. Goes well with wings! I was trying to be healthy and ordered the greek salad entree size ($8.99). In this salad were bell peppers, red onions, cucumbers, black olives, feta cheese and tomatoes. It is also served with garlic toast. It was an ok greek salad was not the best. I really like my greek salads to have a bit more balsamic vinegar in it. KoreanGirl and TaiwaneseGirl both had 2 pounds of wings ($14.39). Thats what 2 pounds looks like. Kinda exp
i have only been to the wings around the PNE vicinity so this was my virgin visit to the wings at granville. as for catherine and vicky, they frequently dine there so catherine ordered the food for us. the pub was rather busy during that period and it was hard to get the attention of the sever. he was rather helpful when he saw us though but still, a rather typical server.
Do you like chicken wings? Are you a fan of "pub" fare? Are you looking for a bar that serves great food along with the drinks, all at a good price? If the answer to any of these is "yes," then Wings is right up your alley. A love letter to wings, it make
