Food is really good and I love their bagoong rice. Always a go to place whenever we go to Canada. Everyone is so accommodating as well.

I come here for one thing - crispy pata! It is definitely a must order! I love eating the crispy skin along with some soft fat as it has so much texture when I bite into it, it is truly crispylicious! We also got the sisig (chopped pork with onion and lemon) which is absolutely rice's soul mate. Even though I really liked both dishes, I prefer the crispy pata over the sisig because the sisig is a tad too salty for me (hence have it with some rice). Garlic rice from this restaurant tastes so good! If you're here with your date, make sure he/she eats some too so you're not the only one with garlic breath.

For soup, we got the hipon sinigang (tamarind soup base) which had a tangy taste, and I found to be especially refreshing. We also got a vegetable dish - asitaw at kalabasa sa gata (string beans and squash in coconut milk), which was tasty as well.

Filipino food is best shared with your friends or family. Order multiple dishes and eat family style. This place is welcoming and we thought the service was good. But we did arrive before lunch so if wasn’t quite busy yet.
We had Daing na bangus (deep fried marinated milkfish) , Kare Kare (oxtail and beef tripe with veggies in peanut sauce), ensaladang talong (eggplant salad with onions, tomatoes, sinigang, and salted egg), and of course lots of steam rice. We ended our meal with Halo-halo (shaved ice with ube ice cream) and cassava cake (yucca root pudding).
Our meal was tasty and everyone was satisfied with their order.

Had dinner with 5 friends and our experienced was good.Food is great except for Crispy Sisig so I don’t recommend that. Pork Barbecue is very soft and delicious. Crispy Pata is the best. Laing is a bit lack of ginger. And my favorite is their huge Halo-Halo which is good for 10 to 15 people. Will definitely go back here and I recommend to try this restaurant.

One of the best places here in Vancouver to satisfy cravings for Filipino food. The seafood kare kare and grilled mussels are among my top favorites here. Their crispy pata comes in a big serving at a very reasonable price. Their service is pretty heartwarming as well. So far, we have not had any rude attitude from the servers despite the buzzing place that it is.

The Pinpin Restaurant did not have the same items that I expected because the menu is no longer current. Nevertheless, it has some tasty treats to enjoy, and is quite popular. One thing annoyed me, though - one fatal thing: the music. Oh the music! They played this perfectly dreadful type of music that went on. And on. And on. And on. It is like to drive you insane if you stay too long, so enjoy the food with earplugs.

One of my fave Filipino restaurants. Food is cooked to order and always comes hot. Hard to get variety with just two people so go with a group of 4+ so you can order and share a few plates. MUST have the BUKO PANDAN for dessert!! Super refreshing and is a good way to end your meal.

We were on the hunt for a good place for Halo Halo and after trying Goldilock's and Max's and were left very disappointed, we didn't think another place in Vancouver would have something worthier. BUT..there is this place through word of mouth we were recommended by a a few Filipino friends to try this place for Halo Halo and so we came. We ordered a Halo Halo with Ube ice cream.  For $7.95 this was around the same price as the other two places we tried but that's where the similarities end. The best part for me was the ube ice cream. The ice cream is apparently from a wholesaler so you can't normally get it in stores. The ube ice cream has bits of taro in it, giving it a very smoky, roasted taro flavour and crunchy texture. I like the green jello which was firm and tasted like watermelon and made fresh in house. I liked the flavour in the shaved iced had a bit of coconut milk an condensed milk. The other ingredients paired well with the shaved ice. There was red bean, sour mango slices, white beans. Everything was not too sweet and tasted quite fresh! Will be back for this!

Great Filipino Cuisine!. Came with a Filipino friend cause I have no idea what to order and we had the Crispy Pata, Calderetang Baka, Garlic Rice. All great dishes!

For dessert, we had Buko Pandan Sherbet. A nice drink with corn flakes on top with coconut milk ice mixture and green Jello.

Service was kind of poor where we tried to flag down waitresses to no avail on numerous occasions.

Ok food. It was alright. The sisig is great though, other than that the food was nothing special.

Great place for filipino food!. Okay, so after my disappointment with Josephine's, my friend took me to Pinpin, and I have to say, it has restored my faith in filipino restaurant.

We went nuts here, trying a bit of quite a few dishes. This was very stupid since the portions are huge and we ended up taking after everything to go. So first we had the lumpia, not the deep fried one, the non-deep fried one that kinda look like a crepe wrap, I thought this was alright, but my friend said it was not very good. So then we had the beef stew and this was amazing. The texture of the beef was perfect and the seasoning was all it. Then we had the crispy pata, which was this crispy pig leg thing, and it was pretty good. The crispy parts were a little too crispy for me, so I had trouble swallowing, but the non-crispy parts were just perfect. Then we had the rice noodles and that was pretty good as well. As for drinks, I had the sago tapioca something something drink, and it was good! It had tapioca, and these jello things in this sweet syrup. The drink was a little too sweet for me, but I still really liked it. Finally for dessert, we had the famous leche flan and it was to die for. I was sure it was gonna clog my arteries in like two bites, but it was worth it, lol.
