Great service, good food. We sat outside on a lovely evening, enjoying the sights, the food, and the ambiance. We'll be back.
My favorite go to in Vancouver, BC. Nice beer selection, great burgers and nice staff!
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! I couldn't ask for anything better
Love this place! Amazing staff, great food. Best Moscow mule in the city.
MY FAVOURITE PEOPLE!!! great beer selection, good times and a fuck OFF good burger.
Great place, good atmosphere, service was great.
Great service, great atmosphere, must try the HUMMUS!
Great menu. Finally a good selection of beer on tap. Totally relaxed environment to chill and watch the game or chat with friends.
Welcome to the five point on main street. The bbq wings are to die for but this pizza was really on point - so filling and flavourful. Great music, lots of different brews and great patio vibe rain or shine. Check it out! #fivepoint #mtpleasant #mainst #local
Among the many bars on Main Street, Five Point is definitely up there. I usually go there for a casual beer, or double caesars on Sunday which they have on special. Perfect for those recovery days. I’m personally not a huge fan of their food (especially the breakfast food), but the cheap drinks and the fun atmosphere make up for it. They have a great patio, perfect for those spring and summer afternoons.
This is a great place to just chill with friends when you can't decide on a place to go. The service is usually pretty good, it's above average pub food for sure and a sweet atmosphere. I used to come here a lot for drinks and snacks when I lived in the area! Also a good place for a first date since it's casual but still classy.
Pub a Dub Dub. It was quite a treat to snag the last patio spot on a nice mild Friday evening. The menu is appealing enough for a pub food carnivore, I had the hot wings, with a side of ranch. They were indeed very good but should those 2 items combined cost $14.25?? Excuse my food value Natziism once again. We also had the carolina poutine which was nothing short of amazing. The BBQ pulled pork piled on top of the cheese curd riddled french fries with some chives on top were absolutely delectable! All in all good food, buzzing atmosphere, I enjoyed.
Love it here. Great pub. Food is good, staff are nice, beer on tap is plentiful. My favourite place on Main St to get a pint...
I like it! Had the tuna bit.... I like it!
Had the tuna bites. A take on tuna tataki. Perfectly seared .
The service was excellent.
The atmosphere was amazing.
Nachos!. Just tried the Nachos, my only complaint: Not enough cheese!
Nachos are $14.95 and come with green/red peppers, tomatoes, jalapenos, olives, sour cream and salsa. It's very generous.
$3 per add on such as extra cheese, chicken, beef, pork. We added the Pulled Pork and a side of Guac. The Five Point makes THE BEST PULLED PORK, you won't regret getting it!!
You'd think NACHOS would have lots of cheese, but there definitely wasn't enough. The nachos are a little pricy after the add ons .... at least you get a very generous portions of salsa/guac/sour cream ( couldn't eat it all, lots leftover). Definitely advise getting extra cheese.
The Five point is still one of my fave places on Main, great staff and always a good time.
Good place to grab a bite. You can't expect fine dining when walking into this place, but thats what I like about it. If you don't like the decor the staff makes up for it by being super friendly. I tried the vegan burger and it didn't taste like cardboard! As for drinks, they don't have a wide selection but if your on main and want a bite to eat, definitely try it!
Lots to like. There's lots to like about this place. The staff are really friendly, and the decor has a nicely executed 70s throwback chic thing going on. The menu -- especially with the three for two appetizers deal which was available last night -- has a couple of really good things on it, as well as all the obvious stuff like burgers and nachos. You've seen more interesting beer and wine lists, so perhaps the thing to do would be to embrace the 70s vibe and have a campari or something.
Great in the sun!. This place is a lot of fun for the 30 and 40 somethings. Great atmosphere, although sometimes quite noisy. The food isn't incredible, but it is good and I continue to go back. The patio is great for spring/summer/fall, but get there early as it fills up.
Their Sunday only $5.75 double Bloody Caesar is a steal of a deal! I quite enjoyed it even though I did not have a hangover. It is spicy, tangy, and boozy – a couple sips after, I could feel another dimension of warmth on the sunny patio. I had to order some Black Dragon Wings ($13) to go with my Gipsie Tears Ruby Ale ($5.75). Black Dragon is one of their several options for the wings, the only choice for originality. And it was a hit! The name Black Dragon obviously come from the soy sauce and sriracha glaze that has a deeper color than any of the BBQ sauce, and a complex but well-balanced flavour, contrasting the tender and moist white meat on the wings. What a great choice to go with the beer!
I just found out Tuesdays are 50 cent wing days at the Five Point, what a deal!
For that price, the portion was quite generous. There was a hefty serving of pulled pork, which was tender and on the sweet side, but most importantly, with a healthy meat-to-sauce ratio.
Half of The Five Point, designated for the tweetup, slowly got jam-packed with Vancouver tweeps looking to drink and social, celebrating the month for men's health.
