Diner or Dive?. Well my dining 'partner' was skeptical at first peering in. I said hey it looks good! All day breakfast my absolute favourite. The menu has a bunch of typical chinese and western dishes on the menu. It is all pried super cheap. I had a classic breakfast which had 3 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, hash browns, and toast. It was only 6.75 taxes in. It was all good except the bacon was questionable, still, edible. I should've went with the sausage. The coffee was a bit meh too, but in the end I honestly didn't mind it and could find myself coming back lol.
Makes eating out easy!!!. Breakfast (easy over eggs were perfect) was so good that we returned for dinner a few nights later for a clubhouse sandwich. I was offered the bean soup to start - so glad i did!!!
Restaurant was clean, food was 10*, service was friendly, prices were so reasonable, and it was fun ordering off the poster board menus that hung on the walls.
The Chinese menu looked good, so i will try next visit!
Historic Diner on Granville. I've been eating breakfast here, with other Grade A devotee's for as long as I can remember. From the time before high rises apartment blocks came into the neighborhood. Regulars are treated like family here, but service is always prompt and attentive. And nobody can beat the price of their breakfast, which in addition to being delicious, and economical, also comes with a generous portion of hash brown potatoes. Be adventurous, and ask for something that's not on the menu -- maybe the chef will deliver your meal to you personally, to make sure you're happy!
