I stopped by this restaurant for lunch today and ordered a small Sunrise Super Special Pizza (details below), which I really enjoyed. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. While the price was already very good on its own, when I got the bill, I noticed that they actually gave me an addition 20% discount. I have no idea why (if they're having some special promotion or something), but I'm certainly not complaining! Overall, I've had a fantastic experience, and I'd love to come back again and try out their baked lasagna (I saw another patron order it today, and it looks freaking fantastic).

The toppings consisted of mushrooms, pepperoni, salami, bacon, ham, green peppers, olives, onions, cheese and tomato sauce. The crust was on the thinner side, although it's not really thin-crust pizza. It was perfectly baked and browned, and very crispy on the edges (the interior was a bit soft and soggy, but that was expected due to the toppings). There was quite a generous layer of toppings, including a lot of meat and gooey cheese. The small size was a perfect portion to satisfy a big eater like me.
Food is decent. Service is poor (disorganized, dirty utensils). Large group so server should have talked, moved around table, made eye contact to indicate whose order she was taking

Whenever I go, I always order the 6oz steak which comes the garden salad, sautéed mushrooms, and either baked potato or spaghetti. I recommend the baked spaghetti with cheese(add $1 or $2).
I also recommend their Meat Lover Pizza, loaded with lots of meat topping!
Service is a hit or miss depending on the waitress. The best waitress is the one with the Australian accent. She's always smiling & always gives you great service! Highly recommended restaurant!
First time ordering from Sunrise Pizza tonight...recommended by a friend, now going to be the place I order from. The house special and ham and pineapple pizza were the best I've had In a very long time.
Fantastic!. Ordered delivery from here. Pizza was delicious - lots of veggies, meat and LOADED with cheese. The centre gets a bit soggy, but I find that separating the pieces firms it right back up in a minute.
They are comparable to my usual pizza place, and though they don't have as great a variety of set pizza topping combinations, they're cheaper and have no delivery fee. My new go to!
Cheesy pizza. I must say, this place is one of the BEST pizza experiences I have tasted in all my 40 odd years. Aside from Santa lucia (back in the day) in Thompson Manitoba, Sunrise ranks way up there. Go there and get full!!

Classic Canadian Pizza!. Another great place for pizza if you like your pizza covered with lots of cheese and toppings. If you are a fan of the mom and pop pizza places that your parents took you to when you were little you will love this place!!!
If however, your into wafer thin whole wheat organic pizza that caters to the urban yuppies & the new age crowd, than probably not your bag, its old school commercial drive!
This pizza is always loaded with so much cheese I would call it dirty. But in a good way. Only problem is ham often comes instead of bacon when bacon is ordered, but other than that, super delicious. The sauce is not really sweet like the other independent pizza joints which I find is much more agreeable. Best place we've found in this area.
The pizza here is really good, but stick to the more basic ones. The lamb souvlaki was a bit overpowered with lemon but otherwise good.
Our New Favourite Pizza Place. This place is old school goodness. This is the place your parents took you to as a kid and you never found again. Oveloaded toppings, fresh, real cheese. It can be a bit soggy at first, but somehow it works. The crust is a treat, makes you NEED the next slice. Friendly wait staff, fast service, a good value for the price.
