My favourite Pizza I've ever had. The owner is super nice, the seating area could use a little love, but over all I absolutely love everything I've ate there. I recommend takeout and eating in. They're a small shop doing a great thing for Vegans and non here in Vancouver � Anyone I've fed this pizza to, vegan and non, have raved about it! It saddens me that all of the low rating reviews are just focused on the delivery service, it sounds to me like they are used to say Dominos or some other franchise delivery service. Remember this is a small business and they are probably doing the best they can! ��
The pizza is so good. Daiya isn't that good, but on VPH pizza it works. The meat substitutes are good. It's perfect, classic junk food pizza.
SO affordable. Like $8 lasagne? $21 large pizza? They're serving specialty food for cheaper than the mainstream.
They quoted me an hour and delivered in half an hour! If you're not happy with the delivery times, they're now on DoorDash which is $6 delivery under 60 minutes. No need to stop supporting a small independent vegan business just 'cause of the delivery times!
The owner is so friendly, he went above and beyond trying to help me secure a pizza to my bike one time.
This is my favorite vegan restaurant of all time! I was visiting Vancouver for a week in August and ate here almost every day of my stay. Vegan pizza house alone is a good enough reason to start planning my next trip to BC. My omni husband also loved the pizza here. I also recommend trying the spanikopita, nanaimo bar, and bubble tea!
Amazing pizza and the staff are so kind! They have a huge variety for being all vegan and me and my omni boyfriend agreed the pizza is amazing!!

We arrived 9.40 and ordered cheese pizza and ham pizza , were ready in 15 min, my first time and the pizza was amazing! There is no excuse for a new vegans , now you got a vegan pizzeria! Enjoy it !

The best thing about pay day in Vancouver was that it meant ordering 2+ pizza's for dinner. I really, really miss this place. They need to expand into Edmonton.
Yes, the wait for delivery was sometimes agonizing, but it was always worth it when it showed up. I've never had a problem with my pizza's, and both the crew in the shop and whomever was delivering were always a pleasure to deal with.
Delicious Pizza! The Cook's Special is phenomenal but my favourite is the Classic Hawaiian, yes pineapple DOES go on Pizza! Delivery is always on time and the pizza is always delicious, still fresh & hot! So happy to be able to order delicious vegan pizza to my door!

Been eating VPH since they opened in 2011 (and I’m not even vegan!). While their delivery times have been hit or miss, I have nothing but the best to say about their pizza and DONAIRS (if you haven’t tried their vegan tzatziki sauce.. trust me).
Hands down the best vegan pizza we've had.
Very friendly service, high quality ingredients, lots of variety, gluten-free options, very generous sizes and use of toppings.
The only potential negative is that dining in isn't very comfortable as the store is quite small and a little too warm for my liking. Just an added excuse to get outside and enjoy some fresh air with your delicious pizza.
The wait is also a little longer than I'm used to, but I think it just shows that they're actually making your pizza from scratch and putting more effort in than your typical pizza place. Definitely worth the wait.

For my birthday, Vegan Buddy treated me to some delicious pizza at Vegan Pizza House. The name of the restaurant is as simple as it gets, and is also quite obvious at what they offer. However, they also offer non-pizza options such as vegan lasagna, donairs, salad, spaghetti, spanakopita, and more!
I've been here a few times and the food has always been great. The chicken donair is my absolute favourite! I like their Harvest Special pizza as well - it's loaded with toppings. The food could easily fool a non-vegan (trust me, I'm not a vegan).
Wow! Will be returning. So many amazing options and you can tell the owner puts his heart into the food. Had a pizza, lasagna, chef salad, chicken donair, Nanaimo bar, and peanut butter cup and OMG. This is home cooked vegan goodness. Could easily fool a non vegan. Can't wait to try everything on the menu! When we ordered they got our order wrong and forgot things but we called and they made it right and even delivered what they had forgotten. 10/10
Stopped in for a quick slice the pizza was good, the price even better ($2.50). You could easily fool a non-vegan. Crispy crust, loads of toppings, will be back again!

Really enjoyed the pizza, server was friendly and answered all of my questions. There is a wait but everything is made fresh to order and clearly with love. Choc cake was a little dry but you get that with gluten free items sometimes.
Eaten here several times, mostly to support vegans trying hard to make pizza. It's been mediocre but not tonight, crust has improved but the sauce was outstanding, the toppings are still nothing special but nice to see improvement .
Loved it!. My family and I enjoyed our pizzas today...thin crust, great toppings, very helpful when asked about avoiding onions and garlic (their basic tomato sauce has none). So nice to find a totally vegan place to eat. Opens at 4pm weekdays.
Perfection.. I tried the Vegan Pizza House twice while I was in Vancouver last week. The first time, I ate in (it's a small place, but they had the door open, it was a beautiful day outside) and my mom and I enjoyed a house special pizza and a Caesar salad. My mom is not vegan but she thought the pizza was really good. I was in disbelief, it was so delicious. I make my own pizzas at home, but they do not compare to this. It's like they made the daiya cheese even better (I think they use daiya?) and the 'fake' meats were not like those I buy in the store. I had to get them to deliver to our hotel the next night. They were friendly on the phone, prompt, and the pizza was in great shape when it arrived. Ah, their salad though! The caeser dressing is garlic heaven. I highly recommend this place.
New Vegan Experience. I had decided to give up as much dairy as I can, so when I was craving pizza I did a quick google search and found this place! After humming and hawing about trying it over the last week I decided to pick some up on the way home from work.
I tried the Garden Pizza and the spanokoptia. They were both pretty delicious, but this being my firsttime having vegan cheese I felt like it was a bit slimey, the texture is kinda weird, but it tastes delicious! The dough was a little bit wet when I got home, possibly because I had to drive for 10 minutes, I think if I throw it into the oven for a few minutes it will firm up.
The employees there were very nice and fairly helpful, they didn't make it awkward to sit in there and wait for my food,
A lifesaver!. I have honestly never had a bad pizza from this place, not even when I made my own. Amazing flavours, and a vegan lifesaver – the only vegan pizza place in Metro Vancouver. These people know what they're doing, I'd reccommend it to anyone.
Good Vegan Pizza. Love the huge amount of vegan and gluten-free options at this place. Their pizza is generally quite good. Service is a little questionable sometimes though. Delivery costs $4 but there's also a $4 discount for picking up, so it's an $8 difference plus tip to have it delivered, which is too much for me.
Overall though, I like the place. It's a different style of pizza than Famoso or Rebellious Tomato, who make more gourmet style vegan pies. Nice to have that kind of vegan pizza variety in Vancouver now.
Better than 'normal' pizza!!!. I am so happy that I can enjoy pizza again!!! We ordered a hawaiian and a greek, and ate in the restaurant. Oh my goodness they were both SOOO good (the hawaiian was my favourite)! The crust was golden crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They use Daiya cheese which is always amazing! I will definitely go back and bring some non-veg friends too!
I just had dinner here with my husband, who is not a vegan or even a vegetarian. We ordered a large Vegetarian pizza to share. The crust was fantastic. The toppings were tasty and the "cheese" was great. My meat eating husband was totally satisfied and commented twice that it was great. I highly recommend this place for a vegan pizza treat!

Awesome pizza, great service, can I live here?. I've been here twice now, and both times I have had really great vegan pizza. The first time I was served by a lady, I didn't catch her name, but she was super helpful in deciding what type of pizza to get (I was sharing with my carnivore bf) and really friendly. Next comes the price. I haven't had pizza from a restaurant in a long time, but I'm pretty sure it does not come this cheap. So, that was another plus. Next, we waited for what seemed like 5 minutes (really, it was fast) and were delivered this amazing looking pizza to our table. It was so good!
The second time I went with a carnivore friend of mine, who is so far from even thinking about veganism that I was surprised she agreed to go. Anyways, we were served by the younger man that works there. Again, friendly and helpful service, the pizza was made fast and delicious. Maybe even better than the first time.
I can see where some people are a bit turned off by the thickness of the crust, I usually like to make pizza at home with a very thin crust, but the thickness did not bother me at all (and it's not 80% dough like the reviewer said below, unless the pizza they ordered had little toppings on it in comparison, in which case, whose fault is that? Theirs for ordering a pizza with wimpy topping). The toppings were stacked pretty high in my case, but, I mean, that's what you want, right? To get a bang for your buck? Why else are you going out? So you don't have to cook. Of course it's not going to be the healthiest thing. It's pizza. So, give this place a try, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Also, there are other things available that I have not yet tried, but will hopefully soon. So, if donairs, lasagne, and salads are more your thing, try those out.
Great alternative to the carnivore version. We ordered some for my husband's birthday to feed a bunch of meatlovers and they didn't taste any difference. Definitely recommended!
Try it !!. I love the pizza :D i get the veggie deluxe and i tried egg plant and pine apple:) the only thing i dont like about it is that its kinda too oily :/ o and btw i had a sesame cookie and this cocunut thinger . they were okay but i wonder about the pastas?

I love it! I thought I was dreaming when I discovered this place. I've only eaten there once but I have missed pizza so much and now I can buy it again, right up the street and at a very reasonable price. Hurray!
Such amazing vegan pizza. I haven't had a Hawaiian pizza since becoming vegan and this place fulfilled the craving perfectly. Also an excellent price for the portions. Support this pizzeria!!
Satisfying non-dairy pizza at last. I came here as part of a group dine out not knowing what to expect. We got to sample several of the pizzas including the House Special, the spinach one, and the "meat lovers" one.
I'm happy to say that all were very satisfying. The crusts were soft yet not mushy. The melty-stretchy Daiya plant-based cheese was plentiful and gooey, and the toppings were quite tasty. I'd have them all again, although the "meat lover" one didn't excite me as the fake meat bits were too small for my preference. Still, our group filled the place and I don't recall anyone once saying they didn't like it. I think everyone was pleased.
I should say that I've been looking for a non-dairy pizza that would satisfy me ever since I gave up relying on animals for sustenance and now I have it. I will definitely return.
I also liked that the it is open until 10 or 11 at night and the owner seems genuinely caring of his customers.

Excellent!!. I am not sure how you can complaining about there being "toom much cheese" when it is daiya. THE most delicious vegan cheese out there and the perfect amount on every slice. There needs to be more places like this in this city! The people that work there/run the place are so customer oriented and eager to please. The kitchen is small so the pizza takes about 25 minutes to make, but once you get your pizza, it is TO DIE FOR!! I just love this place. We will be visiting often!
One of my favourite pizzas is the Vegetarian Special (mushrooms, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, pineapple, and olives). The All Dress (vegan ham, mushrooms, pineapple, and extra cheese) and the aforementioned Gourmet Special (vegan ham, chicken, shrimp, ground beef, olives, mushrooms, tofu, onions, pineapple, and green peppers) are great too.
