Popular destination for both locals and tourist. Great deli selection of hand helds or hot meals. Grab a snack or coffee then head for the sea wall and watch the bikers, joggers and boats go by. Prices reasonable some are pricey but still a good variety of deli products or groceries to choose from.
If your always on the go like me you'll appreciate a better meal over drive thru fast food. I wanted to highlight something here I really like and good value. Their half sandwich/wrap with soup combo for 6.99
They took this deal away in the beginning of the new year and brought it back recently. I guess the demand to bring it back was too high? The mango chicken wrap has alot of flavors going on. If your in a rush definitely try this combo item. It's healthier and tastes pretty darn good.
Update: May 24 2016
Last minute cake purchase. The oreo cake is pretty good lol.
Happy alternative in this neighbourhood. Very pleasant servers, nice spacious seating and pretty average (hey, it could be worst! at least it isn't too sour to drink) drip coffee. I am impressed by the vast amount of food offerings they are able to have. Next time I am gonna sample the soup which, for me, is a strong indicator of a deli's quality.
Now ..would I ever get groceries here? No. It's PriceSmart with larger price tags. You just THINK it's better Yaletownies. But I am reviewing the deli/prepared meals.
My favourite place for lamb shank
Their mashed potatoes with gravy is amazing!!
Lunch: Yes. If you want to stop in for lunch while walking along the seawall, this is a great place. The a-la-carte selection is fantastic.
I was able to buy the sandwich and a drink for under $10.00. For a quick meal in the area and you are in a hurry to get back to work. This is the place to go.
Urban Fare - a restaurant, coffee bar and gourmet grocery store - offers fine local products as well as epicurean delights from around the world. With three locations in downtown Vancouver, including one on Alberni Street and the other in Coal Harbour, we chose their Yaletown shop for breakfast last week. We placed our order at the counter, grabbed a table, and noticed that complimentary wifi was provided at this location. Also, I had never seen this sign before, but Urban Fare offers friendly reminders for their customers to "check-in" on Foursquare. For a higher-end establishment, beverages prices are reasonably priced at Urban Fare: Coffee ($1.60), Soy Latte ($2.60), single shot Espresso ($1.80). Urban Fare's espresso roast is rich, full-bodied and exudes hints of vanilla bean. The ordering process could have been smoother as there was a mix up with our meals. However, it the end it was all resolved and we ended up with delicious breakfasts: English Muffin Sandwich ($4.99) - A choic
