This small "tea lounge" is situated on the 99-B line route, and could easily be passed by. However, the next time you're coming from UBC, walk in and enjoy some pies and tea. #hiddengem
Food/Drink: They have many sweet pies, both of the chocolate and fruit variety. They're not amazing, but they do pair up really well with the tea. There is a mountain of tea tins to smell and choose from, with the descriptions written on the outside. You're bound to find something. They usually have a nice tea + pie combo that's less than 7 bucks.
Ambience: The lighting is quite dim, which creates a cozy atmosphere meant more for quiet reading or chatting with a friend or two. There's also a ton of choosing from an assortment of mismatched cups. Not a study cafe.
Service: By far the warmest and kindest servers I've met. They take time to answer your questions patiently and with a smile. It'll restore your faith in humanity and make your day better!
The Nana Mint tea was perfect. Letting me pick a tea cup was a nice touch. I will definitely be going back to check out some of the other teas.
Excellent tea. I had a delicious cup of tea (Macha from Japan) today with my colleagues at work. The tea house also has a nice assortment of pastries. Service was good and we enjoyed chatting with the owner. All in all I highly recommend this place for a cup of lovely tea. Remember that they also have coffee in the menu.
I really liked the tea@Pekoe. The place has a large slection of tea, also has a friendly service and atmosphere.
Nice cozy place just for TEA. I've been here a few times and tried a few of their teas. The atmosphere is very warm and comfortable. Nice place to sit down and enjoy a nice cup of tea. Their teacups and saucers are very exquisite. I enjoy looking at their huge selection of teas -- some are pretty unique. My favourites are the Dragon Well tea and TieGuanYin (Iron Buddha).
Tea at its best. Quite possibly the finest cup of Darjeeling I've ever had, in many a long year of tea drinking. Beautiful tea, beautifully made, and served in a beautiful cup and saucer. Your maiden aunties would love it, and they'd be quite right to do so.
It’s a perfect place for conversation over a delicious cup of steaming, hot tea. Upon entering, the first thing I noticed was the shelves on shelves and shelves of tea.
This place might be a little confusing for first time goers. I thought I was just going to pick one of the teas listed on the menu behind the cashier counter, but my friend brought me straight past the cashier to the stacks of teas in tin cans near the ba
