Favourite West End affordable sushi (Tetsu is favourite but so expensive). Unfortunately the owner has decided to retire and the place is permanently closed.
For me this is one of the better sushi restaurants in the West End within the same price range. Whenever we eat there the seafood is always fresh and we're never disappointed with the quality of the food and service :)
A small cute restaurant that has an authentic Japanese atmosphere – the interior, Japanese staff and music. Their menu had a good selection of dishes to choose from – nicely presented and designed too. I ordered Pork Gyoza (6 pieces) $4.50 which were crispy on the outside and tasty stuffing inside. Looked and tasted authentic.
I come from Maple Ridge every Friday just to eat here. This place is legit.

Good Japanese!. Super easy menu with all the favourites, and well priced. The Volcano roll was very very good, The Tuna Nigiri was spot on, the Gomae was good (hard to mess that up), and the prawn tempura was good! Definitely one of the better sushi places on Robson IMO.
Good Nigiri, worth the price!. My friend and I ordered some nigiri sushi, ebi sunomono, alaska roll and futomaki roll. The sashimi was fresh, the rice are soft, when they come together, it made a good mix. It melted down perfectly in your mouth.
I love the rolls too. The proportion of different ingredients mix very well. You can taste the richness of different ingredients. Not like other shop, the sauce won't be too strong and salty. I felt so satisfied when I finish the whole plate of Alaska roll.
I tried some other sushi shops too. By far, this is the most reasonable price with the food served. But they are pretty small, so you might need to wait or sit outside. Anyway, this is a good choice.
