Great place to meet, study and have events. Lots of space and easy places to sit. Great staff who made me a delicious home-made icetea.
Excellent place! Try the breakfast bun!! Very friendly staff.
💕 this spot. Very delicious breakfast buns, curry chicken sandwich and kale salad. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Lots of room and pretty outlets to hack away at work. Check it out!
This place is overall ok. It is a pretty decent place to stop by for food but it's nothing to write home about. One thing I'm not satisfied about is how dirty the utensils were because I could still see dried up sauce stuck on my spoon from the last customer who had eaten there. The staff were nice though.
Each weekday morning, I know everything is going to be okay in this world. That’s when I have, what I call #myVancouverMoment. On the commute to downtown along Hastings, I pass Cassiar St. in East Van, then look to my right. Then I glance up to a clear blue sky. It’s those familiar North Shore mountains set behind the old wooden PNE roller coaster.
Ordered the Dolce something lesche coffee and avocado toast and spent the entire afternoon working on my laptop. Has a couple of plugs, has wifi, great ambience. What's not to like?
Coffee was explained to me as brown sugar and steamed milk or cream I can't rmb which. Really sweet so great for those who like sweetened coffee. Avocado toast was amazing with pesto. Bread a little dry though. Overall great experience.
Lost + Found is a very unique spot for friends and family to visit and chat. It does seem like it gets busy but even so, there’s room to accommodate lots of people. The large, open space is also great for studying!

I love this place! I enjoy how the space has high ceilings and a very open floor plan. Definitely a great place to get work done. Only thing I would say is, coffee could be a little better.
Lost + Found is situated on Abbot and West Hastings, amidst community staples like Acme Cafe and Save-On-Meats and newer kids on the block, Luke's General Store and Prado Cafe. It's pretty cool that Lost + Found, despite the close-ness in distance to all these other great places, can still offer a unique appeal.
The theme of the cafe being art, philanthropy and travel, it is filled with old cameras, postcards for upcoming local art shows, and a shelf of readable material to browse through. It also offers the space for events, you just have to book with them! Definitely worth a go, if mostly to see how a different kind of cafe works.
Food/Drink: They serve sandwiches, soups and salads on top of the standard cafe drinks so it doubles as a lunch place. I ordered an Almond Chai Latte for $4.50. It was served in a cup of generous portions--almost like a bowl. It was creamy but was too spicy because of the copious amounts of spice that was sprinkled on top. C ordered an Avocado Kale salad, which he really enjoyed and will go back for, he says.
Ambience: Really great if you want to explore different coffee shops in Gastown. This one is definitely a character different from Revolver or Timbertrain, though not any less in awesomeness. It's also a great place to bring kids; it's a very kid friendly place. Because the space is so expansive and seats so well spaced, it doesn't get too noisy either. :) There are communal tables, individual tables, couches and soft leather seats to sink into with a hot coffee and a good book.
Students: PLUGS by the communal table = great. However, if you'll be reading articles, not the place to be. It's pretty dark.
Service: Really friendly servers who take chat with you with a smile, and no snark. They also bring your drinks to you, which is different from us picking it up from the till. Nice.
Transport: Take the Canada Line down to Waterfront Station, and walk about 10-12 minutes to get there. There are a couple different ways to get there. I just straight on W Hastings. :)
Great coffee and my go-to for a salad for lunch in the neighbourhood. Their kale & avocado salad is fantastic - loaded with beets, carrots, chick peas and a balsamic tahini dressing that is super tasty. Fresh baked buns are also a treat though on the sweet side. Service is fast and friendly.
They've got a nice, large, open space. I've tried to get the egg bun twice now, but they've been sold out by the time I've gotten there. I'm just so curious to see if it's like ones I'd eat in Singapore. The mumbai mash bun and quinoa spinach salad are nice though. The bun reminded me of the pizza pretzels I used to eat when I was little.
One of the best salads I've eaten outside of my home!!. I just had an amazing spinach, goat cheese, chicken, pumpkin seeds, tomato salad and I can honestly say it was home made calibre..much better than any salad I've had at Nuba! Thanks for being in my 'hood & for also being cute and friendly too! Great music and ambience too..will most definitely be back!!
