Love the new digs, great coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly efficient service. Highly recommend!
Great spot! Amazing interior, great coffee, and chill atmosphere. I would be there almost everyday if i lived in the area :)
Delicious coffee and sandwiches, friendly staffs, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Good hangout place.
Coffee lovers' heaven! They know what they are doing. Great coffee, great food, it's the best coffee bar in the town.
I highly recommend (along with any of their fine coffees) the Ham and Brie croissant sandwiches, toasted. Me and my friend come here bi-weekly (or whenever we come to get our eyelashes done) just to have one. Love it here!
Great atmosphere, awesome staff, and the BEST baked goods I’ve ever had.
all around great coffee shop. great coffee, great atmosphere
Great coffee, nice ambiance and friendly staff - what more could you ask for?! Loyalty cards are a nice bonus on already reasonably priced drinks. We love our daily visit to Aperture!
nice atmosphere and great coffee. two thumbs up!!
Meaning of coffee is meaning of genuine smile as well.
Manual espresso machine, really good beans, and delicious pastries. Already like it better than the old place! It's not 24 hours but it probably shouldn't be. They gave us a free salted caramel cookie with our order. I could probably eat 20 of these.
A small and cozy cafe on W. Broadway, Aperture Coffee Bar is great for bookworms (shelves of books for your selection), friends and family (comfy couch by an open window) and students (large communal tables, relatively quiet environment). Though the price point for their espresso drinks are higher than other, the quality is definitely on par with it. I've only tried their coffee and lunch wrap so far, but I will surely be back for their signature affogato flight!

I was in the neighbourhood and wanted to visit this coffee shop. I had high expectation on this coffee shop as the rating was quite high.
This small coffee shop was cozy and contemporary that it gave a warm feeling to customers. The customers would sit, drink and eat at the tables and enjoyed a relaxed moment at the coffee shop. Of course some customers ordered their drinks to go and left.
I ordered a 12oz latte and a breakfast sandwich. The price of the latte or the other drinks on their menu was reasonable. The latte was smooth and had its character. I liked it! However, the breakfast sandwich was just alright. I had better breakfast sandwiches somewhere else.
I enjoyed sitting, eating and drinking at this coffee shop. If I would like to chit chat with friends, I wouldn't mind to come back here to have a cup of coffee. They had seats and tables outside the coffee shop.
This small "hole in the wall" cafe has a cute interior with bookshelves and wooden tables. I came here to catch up on some studying as it appeared to be a fairly productive place to work, had coffee, and had wifi (what more do you need). I ordered an iced green tea/matcha latte and it was perfectly refreshing considering how hot it was outside. I didnt get any food but they looked delicious! I will definitely like to come back here and try the food and coffee next!
Days after visiting a café – Stop 62 in our weekly Search for Vancouver's Best Coffee – I find myself backtracking to Fairview to pick up some beans. I’m at the petite and librarian-cool Aperture Coffee Bar. One of the owners tells me they’ve run out the Brazilian beans I want but can order a bag for me. He explains any customer can order a bag, they just need to pre-pay. Also a deal: every hump day you get $2 off your beans.I tell him that’s okay, I’ll just buy a bag of something similar. He suggests the next level darker, which is Intelligentsia Coffee's Diablo Dark Roast. He tells me Intelligentsia doesn’t make very dark coffee like French Roast.
I’m so tired of this constantly changing weather, and the weather reports that aren’t reliable. On the way to the cobbler yesterday, weather looked good, sun was peeping out, so I went out without an umbrella or a waterproof jacket. Ran into Aperture Coffee:. Got a Flat White with a shortbread cookie, baked in house. Yum. They use Intelligentsia coffee, which I believe is roasted in LA. Very quiet nook to hang out, and a few others were in there studying at the large tables they had set up. There was a cozy area with a sofa in a corner by the front, and a bar close to the entrance. The shop is set up for every type of coffee setting that you would need. Strong coffee. Go again if I'm in the area and looking for a place to hang out.

I think I might have found a spot to do my side photography work that’s inspiring. Aperture Camera has such wonderful photos on their wall, polaroids from someone else’s memories and a wall full of books. Some person might turn their head and waggle their finger with hipster on the tongue, but this place makes me feel like home. The staff were friendly, the espresso was good. What else can I say? A beautiful spot to wind down along Broadway. Stop by if you love photography like I do.
Aperture Coffee Bar Vancouver is a charming coffee shop on Broadway away from all the craziness. Serving Intelligentsia Coffee, the espresso was delicious and rich. I feel guilty for disclosing where I like to unwind, get some work done and just sit down to read a book. If you have forgotten to bring your book, they have plenty of James Patterson, JD Salinger and Stephen King to go around.

This neighborhood cafe is perfect for a rainy day. To grab a cup of Americano or chai latte and sit by the window people watching.
Chai Latte: Perhaps not the best chai latte in Vancouver. This cup was weak and not as flavorful as Bump n Grind Cafe on South Granville or Commercial Drive.
There is free WiFi and the barista is friendly. Aperture Coffee Bar is a total gem. Prices are perhaps a little pricey.
Best coffee shop. I love this coffee shop! They have the best hot chocolate and the tortilla pies are awesome. The decor is nice and the space feels cozy. The muffins and baked good are also wonderful. The only slight improvement is, I've noticed that sometimes, they have the same play list going on. This isn't always the case. However, the music is great with a bit of Nujabes, downtempo, and jazzy hip hop.
Macchiato. Wonderfully brewed fresh ground coffee with a good amount of thick foam.

Great decor, good coffee, chilled music ... Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
In response to the comment about the muffins, they have been replaced with some much tastier ones!
Super cute! but loose the food. Just went to new Aperture coffee bar on Broadway, loved the decor and the iced latte I had, but the muffin was terrible! Please order your food from a better supplier, I beg you, it will make your coffee shop a million times better! I will pay more for higher quality baked goods. Maybe those cookies with the jam in the middle that 49th parallel on 4th used to carry? I was willing to drag myself across town for just those and a coffee.
My third time already!!!. A just opened coffee bar on w broadway!! It became my must-to-go place whenever I hit w broadway!! loved its high quality fresh brewed coffee & delicious meal filling my tummy.
No excuses to miss the newest coffee bar!
From the outside, it was the cutest place ever, and the inside is no different, very bright and clean. The first thing that drew my attention was the tiny library at the corner – with quite expansive book collection I must say (impressed) & the young lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly. Their drinks selections are not anything out of the ordinary, their food options though, are filled with quite a few selection of wraps & savoury delights (including, but not limited to, a huge tortilla cake! – but unfortunately, I had no more room for it. booo me…) I got myself a soy latte with banana chocolate chip loaf on the side. My drink and the sweet accompaniment were delicious, not extraordinarily so, but I enjoyed it very much. Plus, that size of banana loaf was only for around $2.50, it’s a steal! Al
