This is a small, plain bakery/cafe located on Arbutus Ridge, right across from Butter Baked Goods. They serve a menu of breakfast/lunch items, breads, and other baked goods. Unfortunately, they didn't have prices listed for their baked treats, so I didn't know how much everything was, although the final cost was $9. I was very impressed by their food. The prices were a tad on the higher side, but still reasonable. This is a shop that's definitely worth a visit.
Strawberry Blueberry Scone (around $4.50):
4/5
The scone was crispy on the outside while being moist and tender on the interior. It had a great buttery flavour, and was mildly sweet. I did find there to be too few berries, however.
Blueberry Poptart (around $4.50):
4/5
The crust outside was tender and buttery, and had a slightly salty flavour. There was a good amount of jam inside. Personally, I found the jam to be a tad on the bland side. This is a great twist on the regular poptart.

Cozy neighbourhood joint with fabulous food! Grilled cheese was a savoury, buttery treat on huge slabs of bread, toasted just perfectly, with a side of thick-cut potato chips. Not sure if they're made in-house but nice addition. I was delighted by the size and contents of my side salad, especially the cute little pea-pods sliced in half delicately. I think I spent 12 bucks and was more than satisfied. This will become a regular destination when I'm in the area!
Great bread, great sandwiches, great soup, great salads. It is a neighborhood gathering place so a very friendly low key atmosphere. Service is very friendly and is happy to accommodate.
Nice neighbourhood place for a casual lunch. Variety of delicious breads available for purchase. Enjoyed a great homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. Grilled Cheese was delicious.
