I was downtown Vancouver yesterday. My friend and I walked from Granville Skytrain station to English Bay. We were so hungry and thirsty, so we were stopped by Marble slab creamery on Denman St. The store is not big, but it was crowded since it's right beside the English Bay. There were lots of customers here to buy an ice-cream. The store is very fancy and colorful. People can see the instruction of how to order the food in the store. People can order their own flavor ice-cream and then add different toppings. There were many selections for people to pick. I believe they are all tasty and great. I had a very simple on Vanilla and chocolate chips. My friend ordered cheese cake and put all the topping a little on her ice cream. We've tried each other ice cream. They were all tasty. The servers were nice and friendly in the store. The price of the ice-cream is a little bit expensive (small one is around $6). But, It was a great experience for people to have a try.
I love ice cream. Really who doesnt?
$6 milkshake?. I got to see what a $6 milkshake tastes like. That's a good #@^&ing milkshake.
YYYYUUUUMMMMM. Delicious! They have a ramp which is great for the strollers. They have super nice ladies there too. The blonde brownie explosion thing is so good.
Amazing ice cream and you get to watch how they make it! There's an endless variety and there are also many choices of cones and cups. I absolutely adore the Marble Slab Creamery. The downside is that it is a bit pricey and the workers aren't always overly nice.
High quality, fresh ice cream hand blended with toppings. When it's busy, you'll probably have to wait a while and it is a little pricey, but it's definately worth it.
Good creative ice cream. I had the raspberry cheesecake and it was very very good. It was a little bit pricey, but nothing too ordinary. It was very large though, I could barely finish it. The line up was very long, and the servers were unbelieveably slow. The organization wasn't very good at all.
I love ice cream, I can have anytime of the day, in any weather. I almost prefer it in the winter or with rain, so it doesn't melt as quick; and I can truly savory each creamy spoonful. I love all places that serve or specialize in ice cream. Today I satisfied my craving at the "Marble Slab" by English Bay; totally canceling out my hardcore work out, a sweaty hour before. I am always so overwhelmed by the options here. Cakes? Cupcakes? Cones? Shakes? Too many choices and I wanted them all. Not to be too greedy, I settled on two scoops in an over the top, white chocolate coated waffle bowl, topped with rainbow sprinkles. Spying the "New" on a sign for their raspberry swirl, I made that my selection. It came with whole raspberries, raspberry syrup, caramel, and instead of almonds I got graham crackers, all in white chocolate ice cream. Instead of a machine swirling the ingredients together, they use a marble slab (hence their name) cooled to frozen. On it, their staff uses spoons to mix
you’re actually getting some creamy, decadent ice cream here...the price includes one mix-in and a vanilla waffle cone, too. No randomly strewn toppings here haphazardly sprinkled on top here, folks: whatever extra you add-in is mixed right into the ice cream and then served in a cone, giving a richer experience overall.
It was just before eleven o'clock on a hot summer night, and as expected, there was a long queue in front of the English Bay Marble Slab Creamery. That gave us plenty of time to decide what mixins we were in the mood for. Twenty minutes later, it was our
there are many of these stores located across canada and the states but i’ve only been to the one in victoria and vancouver before.
Marble Slab Creamery is knockoff of the Cold Slab Creamery from our neighbors down south. It combines the lasting tradition of good ole ice cream, delicious candies and fruit and a fantastic presentation of the mixing
The beautiful thing about Marble Slab is that you get to see them mix the ice cream and add-ons right there, on a marble slab (hence the name). Rebecca ordered double chocolate ice cream with some almonds which looked absolutely delicious too. I am totally hooked on Marble Slab, and I'll definitely come back sometime soon! Once your desired flavor has been selected, the magic begins. We scoop the ice cream onto a frozen marble slab, where your choice of fruits, nuts and candi
I love the location of this marble slab store. It’s almost impossible to pass by it on a sunny day and don’t get an ice cream. The flavours are amazing. The only reason I didn’t give them 5Stars is that staff are not very friendly.
The ice cream taste is really good, it melts really fast though. The person who attended us seemed to be pressuring us because there were many people in line.
The staff Jane is super nice!!! She gave us recommendations and her smile made me feel very comfortable
The best service ever!
The ice cream is also amazing!
Will visit again for sure🥰
