Review Marble Slab Creamery - Vancouver

The place looks nice and cute , and it also offers various flavors of ice cream . I ordered Cotton candy flavoured ice cream and was so disappointed with it . I felt like I am just eating some marshmallows and gummy bears with blue color vanilla ice cream. I have not tasted other flavors so I can't speak for that but yeah atleast this one was kinda bad !

I love the location of this marble slab store. It’s almost impossible to pass by it on a sunny day and don’t get an ice cream. The flavours are amazing. The only reason I didn’t give them 5Stars is that staff are not very friendly.

The ice cream taste is really good, it melts really fast though. The person who attended us seemed to be pressuring us because there were many people in line.

If I could give this shop a 0 star I would. I was there yesterday with family including 5 very exited kids. The male person making our ice cream was so pushy, load and rude. He had 0 patience and made us all feel uncomfortable. It was the kids first time to this shop and the variety and option made them so excited. On the other hand this person is as literally yelling at us to get our order through. Also, we where the only people in the shop, not like we are holding anyone one back. Very disappointed with the service and will not go back there again:

On my bday, received an email with coupon offering me one free small cone. Therefore, I bring my family with me to this location. The Asian woman serving me was rude %@#&@. I just had my driver licence 5 year renewal, only got interim driver licence with me. She said " You need a photo ID, or else nothing for you" My only other picture ID was my passport, too big for my wallet, too costly to lost it. I am out celebrating my bday, might lost a thing here and there. I feel soooo embarrass in front of my family, why would I lie my bday infront of my fmaily. After long struggle my wife finally find a screen shot of my passport, but the cone I taste nothing but shame. SHE only said "what you want" after seeing my ID screen shot. I will come back alright, but alone with my new driver licence with picture on it once a year. The fine print on the coupon said I need an ID, but never mention anything about PICTURE! They try to cheer me up by bring me to d'oro gelato, after seeing my interim drive licence the girls all wish me happy bday, we end up buying more cones, and a bday ice cream cake from them. That night at the keg the waitress didn't even ID me, and bring me Billy Miner cake. She also wish me happy bday several time. We end up tipping her 25% In conclusion, avoid this location if you wanna celebrate you bday. This place will destroy your mood. Truly a 0 Star!

Love Marble Creamery but the service here left a lot to be desired. My biggest fuss being they didn't spend much effort on the mix. So the ice cream was well garnished, but had a clear core without the ussual good stuff blended.

I was downtown Vancouver yesterday. My friend and I walked from Granville Skytrain station to English Bay. We were so hungry and thirsty, so we were stopped by Marble slab creamery on Denman St. The store is not big, but it was crowded since it's right beside the English Bay. There were lots of customers here to buy an ice-cream. The store is very fancy and colorful. People can see the instruction of how to order the food in the store. People can order their own flavor ice-cream and then add different toppings. There were many selections for people to pick. I believe they are all tasty and great. I had a very simple on Vanilla and chocolate chips. My friend ordered cheese cake and put all the topping a little on her ice cream. We've tried each other ice cream. They were all tasty. The servers were nice and friendly in the store. The price of the ice-cream is a little bit expensive (small one is around $6). But, It was a great experience for people to have a try.

What an IDIOT behind the register tonight. He made a mistake redeeming my mobile coupon and refused to honour it, when it was his mistake. Proceeded to yell at me an snatch my phone from my hand, in front of the whole shop. Refused to get his co worker who could attest to the coupon being valid, as we had shown it to her 3 minutes beforehand. Absolutely woeful customer service from the cashier.

This place is a joke my kids ice cream melted before I got to order "one person at a time" while they take everyone else's order. Joke don't bother

The Marble Slab Creamery in the West End is conveniently located by English Bay on Davie and Denman.  They are known to have long line-ups from beachgoers, locals and tourists all seeking to cool off with some delicious ice cream.

Biggest rip off ever ! 2 small icecreams with a topping on each, over $16. They sell the same in mcdonalds for $3 each !! Not to mention the poor service this place has !!

YYYYUUUUMMMMM. Delicious! They have a ramp which is great for the strollers. They have super nice ladies there too. The blonde brownie explosion thing is so good.

Amazing ice cream and you get to watch how they make it! There's an endless variety and there are also many choices of cones and cups. I absolutely adore the Marble Slab Creamery. The downside is that it is a bit pricey and the workers aren't always overly nice.

High quality, fresh ice cream hand blended with toppings. When it's busy, you'll probably have to wait a while and it is a little pricey, but it's definately worth it.

Good creative ice cream. I had the raspberry cheesecake and it was very very good. It was a little bit pricey, but nothing too ordinary. It was very large though, I could barely finish it. The line up was very long, and the servers were unbelieveably slow. The organization wasn't very good at all.

... couldn't tell the difference between this 'dark chocolate' and the 'swiss chocolate' below; snickers OK, but not the best mixin combo...

I love ice cream, I can have anytime of the day, in any weather. I almost prefer it in the winter or with rain, so it doesn't melt as quick; and I can truly savory each creamy spoonful. I love all places that serve or specialize in ice cream. Today I satisfied my craving at the "Marble Slab" by English Bay; totally canceling out my hardcore work out, a sweaty hour before. I am always so overwhelmed by the options here. Cakes? Cupcakes? Cones? Shakes? Too many choices and I wanted them all. Not to be too greedy, I settled on two scoops in an over the top, white chocolate coated waffle bowl, topped with rainbow sprinkles. Spying the "New" on a sign for their raspberry swirl, I made that my selection. It came with whole raspberries, raspberry syrup, caramel, and instead of almonds I got graham crackers, all in white chocolate ice cream. Instead of a machine swirling the ingredients together, they use a marble slab (hence their name) cooled to frozen. On it, their staff uses spoons to mix

Super long lineup! But I guess everyone wants ice cream eh? Noticed they had frozen yogurt, so I decided to try it! Waiting in line, I got to watch waffle cones being made fresh! =D

you’re actually getting some creamy, decadent ice cream here...the price includes one mix-in and a vanilla waffle cone, too. No randomly strewn toppings here haphazardly sprinkled on top here, folks: whatever extra you add-in is mixed right into the ice cream and then served in a cone, giving a richer experience overall.

It was just before eleven o'clock on a hot summer night, and as expected, there was a long queue in front of the English Bay Marble Slab Creamery. That gave us plenty of time to decide what mixins we were in the mood for. Twenty minutes later, it was our

Marble Slab Creamery is knockoff of the Cold Slab Creamery from our neighbors down south. It combines the lasting tradition of good ole ice cream, delicious candies and fruit and a fantastic presentation of the mixing

The beautiful thing about Marble Slab is that you get to see them mix the ice cream and add-ons right there, on a marble slab (hence the name). Rebecca ordered double chocolate ice cream with some almonds which looked absolutely delicious too. I am totally hooked on Marble Slab, and I'll definitely come back sometime soon! Once your desired flavor has been selected, the magic begins. We scoop the ice cream onto a frozen marble slab, where your choice of fruits, nuts and candi
