Always a great place for food and drinks. The staff are friendly and not over-bearing like in some places. Get there early cuz this place is always busy!
Wonderful atmosphere, great food and above all else great service. This pub is unlike most in the sense that the music is at a volume that you don't have to yell over you can sit with friends and talk, drink and have a good time. I am not from Vancouver but this pub is always on my list of must hit places in Vancouver. This is also my first experience where every night the manager walks around and shakes hands and checks in with each person at each table. Service is taken too a whole new level

The staff are exceptional, the food is inexpensive and quite tasty. The space can accommodate large groups and they also have an outdoor area. Definitely going back more often.

I ALWAYS come here when I’m in town for work. Great atmosphere, extensive menu, and fabulous beer on tap! Also, Chad is amazing and really knows how to make someone feel at home away home!!
If you a looking for a place that actually cares about the community, this is it. My girlfriend and I went here after the horrible shooting at a gay bar in Orlando. A person from the community stops by and payed for everyone's bill, all he was asking was that we would do something nice to someone else that day.
Besides from the community vibe the food is excellent and very reasonable prized, great patio and an extremely 'all are welcome' vibe

Such a wonderful and happy time!I've been here a few times before and always had a splendid time. This occasion was no different, but with the addition of lots of FOOOOD, and somehow we ended up ordering a bunch of healthy options, which I am always happy to savour!The Fountainhead has a great lively, community feel to it. There are so many regulars hanging around, playing pool or just taking shots before going to celebs across the street (Oh, to be young again).
They also have a really cool heated patio. The service is so great, friendly and just feels like a burst of energy and sunshine.

To be honest, I was skeptical of this Watermelon BBQ Chicken Wings ($11), even though it just won an award from the from Georgia Straight. Because my religion, my one true god, my personal heaven on earth is a perfect , juicy, unaltered watermelon.But, all my worries flew away when I tried these wings. This was tangy, crispy, with a slight lingering fresh watermelon aftertaste. It was really really good lol. I love that sourness, which made it less sweet than usual BBQ sauce. The sauce also made it have another dimension. I also ate the celery and carrot - they were fresh and crunchy. Good job!

We got the opportunity to sample some of their food and drinks and to see first hand just what this place has to offer, . bringing of course our appetites!
Great place!. The best breakfast in the west end - by far! The Caesars (am I ever going to learn to spell this word?!) are the best - get one with the candied bacon and you won't be disappointed! Service is friendly. I went during an awards show which was playing on the tv in there and it was like a giant party. Tons of fun!
This is a great place. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. My meatloaf was insanely good. We stayed until close playing darts and didn't feel rushed or unwelcome. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great spot. Awesome LGBT pub/lounge. Stayed in Vancouver for 24 hours and decided to make this one place I stopped for lunch. Servers were all super friendly, loved the atmosphere, and Davie Village is a great neighbourhood. The french fries were quite possibly the best I have ever had. They had this incredible seasoning on them that was killer. The server told me their Veggie Burger was not made in house, but I tried it anyways. It was delicious. The patty itself was not huge, and the bun may have been a little oversized for it, but it tasted and looked great. Thanks for the great lunch while traveling!!
Mobile Review. The burger waqs good, it came with bacon and mushrooms for the 12 bucks, i did get the fries but there is no sub charge for a ceasar (take the hint restaurants!) Although there was no option for a half and half , c'mon!! Beer was good and on special for 4.74 a pint so I can't complain.

I am a regular customer and come to The Fountainhead with friends and family weekly. Each and every time the staff are awesome and very attentive. We usually have Luke as our sever and he is amazing, attentive and great to talk to. The food is always great and served quick and hot. It’s become our favorite place to go.

We initially came here because Granville Brewery was celebrating the release of their new Sour Peach beer and we had two complimentary drinks. Ended up eating lunch here and the food is absolutely amazing. The philly dip already has so much succulent gravy that you don’t even feel the need to dip. If you do dip, you get this incredible flavorful bite. We were recommended to get the Cajun Chicken Clubhouse with only two slices of bread and that was such a great idea. The sandwich tastes like it’s loaded with ingredients. The soup of the day was tomato soup and it had such a nice consistency and was so fresh. I’m not a big drinker of beer but I was actually quite impressed with the peach sour. It had a nice flavor to it that makes it not as bitter as other beer. Would definitely recommend coming here. We had to wait about 15 min for a table because it’s patio dining only right now but the wait is totally worth it. The service is also top notch.
Edit: We were recommended to get the dessert which I think was a cherry cheesecake with chocolate drizzle. It was so good! It’s not a heavy like New York Cheesecake. It s a soft, light cheesecake with what tasted like an Oreo crust. It was so good! And even though we were pretty full, it is actually a nice finisher to the meal. We split it between two people. The desserts rotate so it isn’t on the menu.
Best poutine I've ever had. I hope it wasn't a fluke... I mean maybe it was, but it was so perfect. Crispy, flavorful fries, great gravy, half melted cheese curds and a large portion 😋

This place was amazing! The vibe was so friendly and welcoming, the drink prices were super decent, and the manager/server T was so funny and amazing; we visited twice on our 4 night visit to Van. Would recommend if you're looking for a good place to sit and chill or play some pool on a weekend :)
The patio is great for people watching on a sunny day. Neighbourhood pub with a variety of customers gay and straight. Food is better than average, lunch has 5 items for $8 each, including a half club sandwich with real chicken and bacon with choice of side. Brunch daily 11-2 prices around $11-15. Daily specials including soup and drink specials. Service is friendly and relaxed without being pretentious. Pool table and a bit cruisy after 9 pm.
