Enjoyed the food and the space. Two of us had the beef noodle, liked that the broth was not too salty...lots of tender beef....generous amount of veggies. Husband had the dry noodles, thumbs up for that one too. Shared the fried chicken, good but we were all too full to enjoy it... server was sweet and so darn cute. A tad pricey but worth it.

It's a pretty cool place ! love the vibe there ~ Tried their beef noodle soup and was impressed with the beef ! They actually pan fried the meat a bit before serving, so you can actually taste the crunch ! love it ! would go back to try other stuff. it's a pretty cool place

Quite different from other Taiwanese ,Chinese Restaurants : Open space Kitchen, very authentic Taiwanese cousins (no MSG) , modern interior design with great services. My wife and I really enjoy having meals here.

Love it, kinda expensive but worth it. Not your typical Taiwanese noodle.

First impression, the restaurant is super clean and well decorated. Then the food is just absolutely amazing. All the appetizers are elevated versions of Taiwanese street food, I would highly recommend getting the truffle parmesan chicken nuggets. We also got beef noodle and pork belly rice, they were also very tasty. The only complaint is too much rice 😅

Spacious, delicious, quality food! Rhinofish is definitely one of best noodle place in town! The Asian fusion delicates really give us the “wow” moment. Being an Asian foodie who is obsessed with beef noodle for decade, I was amazed by rhinofish’s creativity and how they elevate the traditional dishes to such a new level. We will definitely come back again for all the amazing dishes and thank you for being in Vancouver! Authentic taiwanese food? Not really. Delicious and impressive food? Yes!

A good place for lunch. A bit pricey compared to other places I’ve been to for soup noodle, but I did notice a difference in the quality of their proteins. The beef noodle soup had tender flavourful pieces of beef and tasty soup. The drunken chicken was decent and the tea egg nicely cooked. I would return to try some of their other items. The fried chicken and the tofu appetizers both looked good. Service was fast and friendly- no complaints there.

Got their signature Taiwanese beef brisket noodle. It is really delicious. The noodles are handmade, really lovely texture, and the soup just sticks to the noodles. The beef brisket is really really tender, it melts in your mouth easily. As an Asian from SEA, I will say the portion is huge, 2 people might even be able to share one bowl.

One of the best beef brisket noodle in town! The meat is thick, juicy and tender. Never had this type of cut in noodle before. Soup is on the salty side but didn't taste any MSG. Hence is a bit more expensive than other restaurant ($14). Nice decor, location and friendly staff. Definitely will visit again.

Dare to be different! I was initially taken aback by the limited lunch menu, but everything was so unique that I had to just dive in. The menu had so many recognizable ingredients and flavors juxtaposed and combined in competely novel ways! Take their signature drink, The Rhinofish - tomato juice, salty plum and apple cider? It was amazing! Salty and sweet and all sorts of interesting in between flavors! I was constantly at a loss (in a very good way!) to describe the flavors of my dishes. I was stuck saying, "Very different! Not the flavor I was expecting, but in a really good way! It's deliciously different!" So, when you're Vancouver friends tell you all the "good" Chinese restaurants are in Richmond and not in Chinatown, you have proof that their wrong!

The dish to get here is definitely the Beef Noodles. I love the springy slightly chewy egg noodles and the rich decadent soup. The beef almost melts in your mouth. I’ve also had the Chicken Noodle dish, but I find it somewhat underwhelming. Service is always friendly, fast and efficient. And the ambience is chill in a beautifully designed interior. I had the plum vinegar to drink and it was interesting, but not a favorite of mine. A bit too tart and vinegary.

Heart and Soul was poured into making an impression for Taiwanese Cuisine in Chinatown! The owner felt a missing that there is NO good place to go for Taiwanese food in the hood; especially in Chinatown. Beef Noodle Soup is a must try; or if you are feeling adventurous, try the Drunken Chicken Noodle Soup! Oh my good lord, the steamed Sticky Rice is Awesome!
