Delicious food and great menu. Cocktails were well made. The price was ok, but for the meal, I don’t know if I’d have this on the top of my list. Good quality food if you’re in the area.

We tried to come here before but there was always a long wait. This time, we made a reservation to ensure a table. We ordered a falafel appetizer, the vegetation feast for 2 and a lamb dish. The falafel and hummus were good. The feast was also quite flavorful. The lamb was very good and tender.

• Reserve if you can, as they get really busy anytime of the day
• I like the interior, got some character; huge place; there’s a second floor which is good for parties ;)
• Turkish coffee, if you like black coffee you’ll like this! Otherwise, my friends think adding cream made it better
• Cauliflower lunch plate is awesome! Huge plate, I didn’t even feel bloated and full after I finished my meal
• Good service
• Lamb meals looks good as well
• I find the pita bread just a bit on the drier side
• otherwise, this is one of the healthiest place I’ve been

One of my all time favorite restaurant in Vancouver. They serve healthy, well made Mediterranean food. The atmosphere is a little fancy but nothing too over the top. The staff are extremely attentive and friendly. There's always a line, so make a reservation if possible.

Nuba has a huge variety of vegan and gluten free items. I love Lebanese food. I also over heard that if you book on yelp you get a free drink. I came here to meet with my work staff for a holiday dinner. This location has multiple private rooms and can cater to large groups. We had a party of 24 people and had a family style dinner.

The ambiance is nice and the service is very professional and friendly. This place is also great for date nights. The prices are very very reasonable and we all had a great time. On this particular night the hostess had told me they had multiple parties. The kitchen staff and front house did a great job. The food was lovely. The only downside were the chairs upstairs, it was a bit uncomfortable. As well as the waddling tables. Other then that, great place to eat.
Just a reminder the side streets have free parking, that way you don't have to pay for parking.

Nuba is a Lebanese restaurant located in Kitsilano. While they promote plenty of vegan and gluten free friendly options, they also have meat options for non-vegetarians. If you like to have meat during lunch or dinner but have a vegetarian, vegan or a friend who is sensitve to gluten, Nuba would be the perfect option. Plus, they have other locations in Gastown, Yaletown, and Mount Pleasant.

Nuba - Broadway. Food was good as usual, have to say service has been lagging a little and the menu could use some updates.
Too bad ;!!!! :( has been top on our list in the past.

Nice location, open floor with tons of space. Delicious food and good portion. My Lebanese friend said it's not quite the same as authentic but it's good. I like what I'm eating.

Love Nuba. Try Tamam.. I have loved food and atmosphere at Nuba since its early days in Gastown...then in Kits. It is definitely keeping up and has maintained a great level of service and food choices. If you enjoy the healthy Levantine type of food, you should also check out Tamam http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/14/1616265/restaurant/East-Village/Tamam-Fine-Palestinian-Cuisine-Vancouver - you won't be disappointed. The decor may not be as refined as Nuba but the food is certainly recommended!

Inspiring eggplant and more!. I went to Nuba for lunch the first time yesturday, I will be back for sure.

Firstly I'm suprised by all the negative reviews. I'm well versed in middle eastern cuisine and I was SUPER impressed. I know it's not stirgidly traditional but the flavours and quality were there. Mabye it's the dishes we chose? I know thats often the case with restaurants..."sum dishes shine, and sum don't" Anywho, I find most restaurant food in vancouver to be mediocore at best. Not this time.

My partner and I had the eggplant stew and the mjadra. Both came with roasted potatoes, salad, hummous and olives.

2 things blew me away, the clean, humble flavour and depth that was the eggplant stew....over the potatoes tasted like a healthy moussaka! And the condiment...oh the condiment. Made from pepperocini peppers and lemon. I could drink it like a cocktail. The mjadra was also amazing, much more exciting than the usual mjadra, fried onions were out of this world!

The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, not greasy, and extremley flavourful. Service was great.

Can't wait to try their dinner menu!

Had the baked fish special of the day, it was quite good. The cauliflower was not crispy as was indicated in the menu, it was ok though thanks to the 2 sauces that came with it.
The babaganoosh had no flavour but the ground lamb appetizer was flavourful.
The service was something that could definitely be improved upon...
The waiter forgot to bring us our drinks and also forgot to bring the second main that we ordered.
Overall the food was good but the service......

Beat restaurant in Vancouver!

Oh and if you have a party of more than 10 (8 or 10...I forget) you can a set menu that pretty much serves you everything on the menu - beware: you are going to be STUFFED by the end of it - and guess what?! It's all for only TWENTY BUCKS!!!! BOOM!

Highly recommend this place. And don't forget to order the deep fries cauliflower. This dish turns cauliflower into you're fantasy.

Oh, and most importantly, you feel like you're in Greece.

Great Ambience & Food. Flavourful, fresh, healthy eating. Great location on West Broadway, with good vibe and good service. What a great addition to the other reliable Nuba restaurants.

Friendly, gluten free friendly. Came in looking for quick take-out and the waitress recommended Najib's special: crispy cauliflower with hummus. I ordered the platter which came with salad, olives and pickled cabbage. I chose potatoes over the rice. Very yummy! the cauliflower was caramelized brown, tender and very lemony. The food came quickly and it certainly hit the spot. very yummy recommendation!

Incredible fig nougat dessert. Just the nougat icecream would be worth the trip- but then you would miss out on the lamb belly - and the organic green lentils that some with it. lentils simply cannot taste any better.
I have always loved labneh, but nuba's is special. Must return for the fried cauliflower dish- recommended by the superb waitress who also recommended the fantastic cocktail -- with fresh squeezed oranges, marnier, gin and agave syrup, the nuba mojito and an awesome BC pinor noir.

This new location is absolutely beautiful - with high ceilings, curved archways and an open air dining area you feel like you've been transported to someone's exotic home. The food is on par with the Gastown location - fresh and healthy tasting, flavorful and delicious. I'd recommend going for lunch as their specials are incredibly priced (most around the $10 range) and come with a variety of extras including hummus, pita bread, lemon potatoes, a chickpea garden salad, pickled cabbage and olives. I've tried a variety of dishes (falafel, Najib's special, mjadra) and have yet to be dissapointed. I'd also recommend getting one of their fresh squeezed juices - although a bit pricey, they are delicious and you get the fun of creating your own juice combination! Will definitely be one of my go-to spots for summer patio lunches!

Delicious & Healthy. Having worked in a Lebanese restaurant while a student, I'm familiar with the standard menu items. Nuba (Kitsilano) offers the standards and more, served with creativity and contemporary flair. For example, the appetizers (mezzes) came with very fresh avocado and red cabbage. The falafel was homemade and the right shade of green inside--delicious. The lamb appetizer was perfectly spiced and cooked, neither overdone nor greasy. Both appetizers came with hummous. The tabouleh was fresh and served with mint leaves, on a small bed of greens, again with the avocado and cabbage garnish. The creativity and delight in fresh, healthy food reminded me of Israeli food (I haven't traveled to Lebanon but if Nuba is any indication, the style is similar there.) The service was excellent, though maybe a little overattentive. (The restaurant had just opened up when we visited so maybe the management was still working on this.) The decor and atmosphere were relaxing, casual, and very pleasant. I love this place and plan to return often.

We came to Nuba Kitslano for a holiday dinner party on a busy Friday evening. The group sharing menu did look very enticing with a long list of dishes. Although the food was not as impressive as I expected, and I felt like being at a cocktail party with only some small tasting plates, I was impressed enough to want to come back here for a more formal dinner. Nuba's Kitslano Location is quite sizeable with multiple dining rooms. We had a group of more than 20 people with 5 small children. Although we weren't able to secure a private dining room, we were placed in a semi-private dining area in the courtyard with beautiful surroundings of stone walls, romantic lightens, and exotic plants, as if we were about to experience a festival in a villa along the Lebanese coast. It was off to a good start with a platter of cold mezze, or cold appetizer dishes that served with fresh pita bread. Hummus was creamy and refreshing with a hint of lemon. Baba ghanooj, or roasted eggplant puree, was smooth and flavourful. Jac told me she normally did not like eggplant but she actually enjoyed eating this. Pickled cabbage was more subtle than I expected, which I did not mind at all.

The Najib’s Special is just that special, crispy fried cauliflower tossed with lemon and sea slat and served with a side of tahini, it reminds me of the oil fondues I used to have growing up.

A Little Jiggle in Lebanon ~ Arrived early at the " Nuba " located in Kitsalano . Took the opportunity to order a drink and jot down my first blush impressions as I waited for my guests to arrive. I walked in solo and didn't have to wait for the hostess, as the bartender came out from behind his counter to greet me. He allowed me to take a reserved seat at the bar. I took his recommendation of trying the drink special of the day: "rosemary grapefruit gimlet". He created light conversation and even took the time to explain what a "gimlet" was, truly great customer service from this young man. The gimlet was delightful with the light taste of gin, it cooled with the grapefruit and simultaneously heated the back of your throat with the ginger. I could have had many and would like more on their patio in summer. Eventually the group came to claim their reserved bar seats and I was ushered to my reserved table. I didn't mind the wait as the decor of this location was the nicest of the three

There are only two articles on Nuba on somerville kitchen ( Read How Authentic is Nuba and Begin the Year Raw ), even though I seem to end up there for one lunch or another every three months. I usually visit Nuba's Mount Pleasant location which I find the hippest, but also the busiest. Today I tried their newest location in Kitsilano. A Greek restaurant turned Lebanese and I have to admit it is the most Lebanese-feeling Nuba location.  It is also the largest, most open and comfortable location (and I have visited them all). Lunch was Le Petit Feast - a humus, baba ghanouj and tabouleh - all authentic tasting. I also love Nuba's juices - I usually order whatever juice concoction they have. But today I noticed on their drinks' menu Sharab El Ward which is rose drink made with rose syrup that I simply love. This was, though, a bit of disappointment given they mixed in lemon or lime that made it closer to a rose lemonade than the authentic perfumy rosy drink I know from Lebanon. Guess I k

We happened into Nuba one night when our plans to meet at a different venue fell through. Originally out for a tea date with my cousin at the new Neverland Tea Salon, we arrived to find it was closed for a private party! The ladies at Neverland were kind enough to give us a complimentary tea voucher for our next visit (stay tuned for that review) but that didn’t solve our immediate dilemma. Lucky for us Nuba was less than a block away, and by now we were hungry too. For a Thursday night at 7pm, Nuba in Kitsilano was unexpectedly quiet, and we were promptly seated at a window table for two. We started with ordering two large glasses of fresh squeezed juice for $5.50, of which we were able to choose any combination. We went with apple, lemon, lime and ginger – so pleasantly refreshing! No trip to Nuba should go without ordering Najib’s Special, the most amazing cauliflower dish in the history of cauliflower. It’s crunchy and soft and incredibly seasoned with spices and lemon. We also ord

I was taking my graduation photo sometime late November last year and Holly was around the area so we decided to have dinner together. We were around kitsilano area and was contemplating between Sanpachi Ramen or Hawker’s Delight. Never did we expect ourselves walking in Nuba. Nuba 3116 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6K 2G9, Canada +1 604-336-1797 View Larger Map When Holly first introduced me to Nuba, she told me it is some sort like East is East. I am fine with any kinds of cuisines and I am adventurous when it comes to food so trying Lebanese food is definitely something new and exciting to me. Nuba is a big restaurant with dim light settings. There are more than enough seats to spare for everyone. The servers were polite and professional but not friendly.
