Diamond is our favorite place to go for dates. We have a lot of fun tasting the vast array of drinks on the menu. I recommend sitting at the bar to watch the bartenders do their magic! And the décor reminds me of my hometown and the servers are lovely.

This is a very nice place situated in Vancouver. The food is amazing and the presentation of food looks very tempting. Staff is very friendly to its customers and it is good to see a smile on their face.
3.7/5 Food were average. But I really like the smoke and mirror. A cocktail which comes with the actual smoke is always made you excited, right? Getting a window seat at a fall night is a plus!!!
This is a pretty cool place to go on a Friday Night after work. Went here with some co-workers and had a Tequilla Martini - this drink is not on the menu but a really nice one. We had a cheese platter which had quite a few selection of cheeses served with a thin toasted bread. It was great. I would recommend this place for a nice night out for drinks. This place can get pretty busy though.
Definitely a contender for best cocktail bar in the city, if not number one. Cocktail menu is updated regular but the classic are always there. The staff are all very up on their cocktails and able to explain and cater to all level of enthusiast. Atmosphere is just what I'm looking for when imbibing. I find myself there at least once a week and recommend to anyone visiting. Definitely go for the drinks, food is great but not what draws me. But it's one of my top 3 in Vancouver.
Came to The Diamond for cocktails before dinner. Amazing cocktail list! Very extensive list too. Be sure to try the lemony and refreshing Strega Cabella and the Rowdy Neighbour (Aperol based). Really cool crowd and decorated beautifully with vintage chandeliers, exposed brick and neutral colours. LOVE.
Cocktail heaven. Dark corners, inimate conversation and candlelight meetings. Great little spot after dinner with friends or for meeting a date for a drink. Highly recommend checking out once, twice, always.
Best place to grab a drink in the city. They will tailor to your needs for any drink. Try my personal favourite the meat hook, it's not on the menu.
Photos don't really do justice to this cozy loft-style cocktail bar. Square space, high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows. You would want to live here. Retro decor and bartenders. Interesting cocktail menu with something to please every mood. Great place for couples or groups. A must if you are in Gastown.
In the words of the great JZ "diamonds are forever". This place rules. The drinks are great. No matter what you do, don't ask for a vodka soda, the bar keep will give you some BTA (big time attitude). It's good though, the place makes you experience new and inventive drinks. The drinks are pricey but it's well worth it .
Always a good time. I love the bourbon milk punch, and their entire menu. It's more appetizer-sized than actual dinner, and it's highly recommended as an after-dinner hangout. The dessert menu is definitely worth checking out for a small, sweet snack. Some of their bartenders can be a little heavy-handed, but when they're not the drinks are perfect.
This has got to be one of my favourite cocktail bars. I had a glass of red wine though, but my friend tried some cocktails and they were really good. We had a cheese board and some prosciutto and locally baked bread which was really good. I wish they had more food but overall it was a great experience. The atmosphere was awesome too!
cozy but lively spot in gastown, really enjoyed the vibes and live music when we were here on a saturday night. good food and good drinks - will be back for the hideaway bar!

A beautiful room where the front of house industry people go to get drunk and the back of the house people go for one cocktail to seem fancy.
Ordered the Tiger’s Breath cocktail which contained hibiscus tequila, jalapeño honey pineapple and lime. It was fantastic! I could have easily ordered several but I’m only a chef. Haha 🍹

One of my favorite cocktail bar in town. A great variety spirits to choose from, but definitely try their old fashions. IYKYK and add the sparkling or mini beer glass! As I've been going here about once a month or so, one criticism is the lack of updates of drinks. I've been thru the list once over and looking for something different. They also have a bar behind the bar called the Elk Room which h also have their own set of drink list. The drinks here are less spirit forward. I'd stick to the front of the room.
Always a great time at the diamond. I love their cocktails and the delicious little snacks that pair so wonderfully. They were out of the vegan board, so I opted for the belgian black truffle pâté ($18). Ir was very flavourful and the pickles added a perfect crunch. Definitely go during happy hour ($4 off certain drinks from 6:00-7:30pm).
The server is friendly and very nice 😊 cocktail is really good! However I wish they have more selection for food example fries or chicken wings or other food fingers food. We ordered their cheese board and it's not bad but just not that filling
Overall really enjoy the place, vibe and music. Definitely will eat first before come to enjoy the cocktail ☺️
