This is the BEST place for cat lovers! It was definitely the best $8 cover charge I've ever paid for any venue! The staff are very kind and knowledgeable, and the kitties are so awesome and sweet � I will definitely be going back to this place!
Amazing. I took a group of other cat sitters there and everyone was super happy. The staff were friendly and informative. We showed up at a great time after the kitties' afternoon nap. I can't recommend this place enough!
Awesome mewtastic time, super friendly staff, and an atmosphere that is not only soothing but inviting and calm, wish we could have stayed all day. Well worth another visit. Spend at least an hour there you won't be disappointed. Situated in the west end of Chinatown closer to downtown, great views, ease of parking and memorable.

We adopted our wonderful cat from Catfe last year. It was such a great experience for us to actually get to meet and see all their temperaments before choosing to take one home. Catfe has an amazing mission and purpose and it took the operators a long time to get this to our city. I love this place and I want it to be successful in what they had envisioned, sooooo....
Here's a couple thoughts after reading some of the posts on here.
First and foremost, Catfe is an adoption agency. If you are looking for the best small batch roasted coffee or quinoa and beet root salad, then you may want to skip this. The food is secondary and along with the merchandise, are there to "add" to the experience.
The staff are clearly very passionate about felines so they may seem "protective". Cats are animals, and even the most avid cat whisperer cannot predict if one is overly tired, moody, etc. So if you have young children, you may want to bring them to a "petting zoo" instead as cats have very sharp nails that make even an adult say unpleasantries when swiped by a paw. Could you imagine if a 2 year old got scratched by one?
Other than that, if you just want to simply chill quietly with some cats, then come for a "relaxing time".
If you are serious about adoption, then they will accommodate "private" viewing times for you so you don't need to wait for a reservation spot.

This place was awesome. Not sure what other people are complaining about. Yes there are rules, but they are common sense really. We went in the afternoon so the cats were a little more laid back and relaxed than playful, but i kind of liked that. They were all receptive to receiving pets which is why I'm there. The staff was super nice, especially Leona who was the "cat whisperer" while we were there. Overall it was wonderful and I can't wait to go back.
This is an amazing place. The people working there is amazing at they really love what they do. The cats is so adorable and well cared for. The Catfe will become my regular coffee place

I loved everything about this place! I totally recommend it weither you want to go have a bite to eat or have coffee, hang with our feline friends or adopt a new family member.
I can't stress enough how amazing this place is. They're also playing such an important role finding homes for these cats. Such a lovely cafe, stayed there for an hour today, wish it could be 3 :)

Although we already have a cat but we like to frequently visit catfe. I think the vision is brilliant. It's a good place for those who are thinking of adopting a cat, to visit and play and get to know the cats. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Great place for friends any age to meet up and enjoy time with adorable cats.

The Catfe is wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the cats truly seem loved and well cared for. I don't have a cat right now and am not in the position to adopt, but I loved being able to get kitty snuggles. I'd definitely consider adopting from the Catfe next time I can have a kitty of my own. Wonderful vision, wonderful place.
I visited a couple of weeks ago. The cafe workers were very friendly and talked alot about the cats. Had such a great time - the one person there - Teas? - was great
