This place is a staple among our group. Very cheap, affordable and good food. The burgers especially are a must try. The place has a very chill vibe to it and everyone is enjoying and merry in their own space. Don't expect too much hospitality from the staff (not complaining). Good place if you're on a tight budget. Cheers!
This place is always alive and filled with people, that's why you won't get entertained much by the staff here. The best thing is that, no matter what you buy, its gonna be $6 only. The best place to chill in Downtown Vancouver with your gang when you're on tight budget.
Grabbed dinner here with some good friends one evening downtown, as I was curious to try this place ($5 menus intrigue me haha). The restaurant itself is small, & given its trademark price points, expect a line-up. Hearty pub grub with a fairly varied food/drink selection to boot. Our server was friendly, though I felt a bit too reserved. Overall, good food (for the price) & decent service all-around. Peep the Warehouse if you're looking for a dine-out experience that won't break the bank 💰
The Famous Warehouse is located on the busiest street Granville St. Downtown. It’s a small bar and all the food here are $4.95, which was super cheap. Because of this, this place is always busy, has a super big line up around lunch and dinner time. People came here, had a glass of beer or wine and $5 dollar food. Food here is very tasty, which is much better than other bars. Because of many people here, the food came so slow. People have to wait for their food more than half hour sometimes. This place has very nice background music too. Really great place to go.
Best cheap bite in Vancouver!! This place is like the gold rush, everyone is trying to come here so finding a table is hard, expect a line up! The food here is pretty good and best part is that everything is only FIVE DOLLARS!!! Just be care about all the addons, they'll ask if you want some kinda sauce or upgrades and that will rack up the price quite significantly so safe yourself the money and just buy another entree.
Best place to have nice comfort food with a good price. Every food dish was seriously $4.95. I got the work burger. Huge patty, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and a special sauce with fries. Delicious.
Decent food at a decent price, cool atmosphere, lovely, quick service and a wide variety; no complaints from any of the 6 people I went with.
Use to go here nearly every week when I was living in Canada. Loved the wings and the dip. I'm a big wings fan and was hooked on this place. I remember them having really good deals on different days
Cheap classic comfort food (love the sliders), but beware of long lines! I really like the vibe of the restaurant, with the posters and stickers stuck onto the walls. The food's good, but not amazing. But for the price, you really can't go wrong with this!
We were both pleasantly surprised with The Warehouse. Since we were just looking for cheap eats, we really didn’t expect much of the dishes. However, they tasted a lot better than we imagined, and is definitely worth more than the price. Without doubt, I would recommend this place.. whether or not you’re on budget!

I find myself coming here more often than I would like to admit for its dirt cheap food. Great for after drinks or a late dinner, the Warehouse always draws large crowds, essentially for the same thing I am looking for: an inexpensive meal. You can't beat the prices here, although the ambiance and service has more than once been a disservice to this place. The lines can go up to one hour a wait, and the waiters and people attending aren't the nicest. Not to mention the tables are always sticky.
Un lugar con mucha onda, medio rockero. Todo su menú cuesta 5 dólares.. Las dos veces que he ido he comido soft tacos con pollo, ya que los puedes elegir con pollo o carne picante. Son realmente deliciosos y según los comentario de los demás acompañantes las hamburguesas también están muy buenas!

really enjoy it but there can be a long like up and sometimes it gets pretty squishy and claustrophobic. the food is amazing and it has a nice setting for a date
I LOOOOVE the famous warehouse. $5 food all day, everyday, you can't really go wrong with that! Keep in mind that this place almost always has a line up around dinner time so if you're in a rush, this probably isn't the place to go. I really like their Mac & cheese here, as well as perogies and Caesars!
Good food for the price. All the food is $5, but they make up for this by trying to up sell you on the extras (guac or salsa on your taco, cheese or bacon on your burger). It can be a bit annoying, but even considering buying some extras, the prices are still unbeatable.
A nice place to come for a drink and some food.
If you are looking for real cheap beer and burgers, this is the place to be. Prices are dirt cheap - everything on the menu is $5, and specials can go ever further down with taco tuesdays and all you can eat. Ambience is a little hipster for my taste, but my works burger with onion rings cannot go unnoticed.

I've been to the Hastings location. First time was amazing. The second time even better. look in the hole on the ground. there's a surprise! Oh and the Food is amazing for the price of $4.95 cant beat that with a bat.
I came here for a quick lunch - didn't expect anything good about this place as the price was incredibly cheap. It turned out to be amazingly good. They actually served a really tasty burger with yummy fries. I thought it deserved more than $4.95! I might come again to check their other dishes so that I can write a more detailed review on it :) So far so good!
The burger and everything was great. Nice lady good service but THE WAIT WAS VERY VERY LONG. A Long time standing outside then waited an hour for the food to come.
Nice place that gets surprisingly crowded even on weeknights. I found the wait staff to be friendly and helpful. And their prices aren't bad, either!
....I took my mom to Burrard to see the Sakura (cherry blossoms). The leafs already grew out, so it wasn't as perfect, but the weather was great. Looked really, really pretty :D Then we walked from Burrard to The Famous Warehouse- it is actually right on Granville, but I wanted to show my mom around downtown, so we walked through the branded shops around Burrard. Then we got to The Famous Warehouse. Taste ★★★☆☆ Portion ★★★★☆ Service ★★★☆☆ Cost $

Their alfredo pasta was delicious the first time I went in, so I decided to go there once again with a couple friends. we stood infront of the door for about 3 to 5 minutes and no one acknowledged us. It wasnt terribly busy, it was a game night though. but we were highly upset and disappointed for their poor service. It isnt difficult to seat us at an empty table.
This place ROCKS!! Anyone that says otherwise didn't order a burger or wings. Eclectic music, good vibes, great service and fresh burgers... Mmhmm!!!!
Just went tonight and server was attentive and polite, drinks were relatively cheap and food was fresh, quick and succulent.

Mixed feelings.. I really enjoy their burgers and that's about it. I tried a few of their other foods but nothing compares. I have to say the worst thing I've ever eaten in my life has to be their fish tacos, they smelt so bad I lost my appetite and just tasted bad. And most of the other foods are okay, nothing special. The burgers are the only things I recommend.
Didn't have to wait to sit but the food took an hour and they were serving people that showed up after us first. Awful draft by the door since t doesn't close properly. Poutine was awesome and chicken sandwich was dry but edible. Over all not bad for 10$ - macho sauce was not very good and they charge you for it so watch out. 3/5 I would go back and hope for better service n
$4.95 all day long?. With a price tag like that on all food items this place is definitely a keeper :) we tried the house special bbq pizza personal size which wasn't too memorable, the bread was rather chewy and tasteless, we had two burgers: the work burger and the mushroom burger both with side salads and the special poutine which was delicious :) i would come back to this place again!
All food $4.95!!?? PBR 3 bucks!!?? Wow perfect, an these prices are in a downtown joint too!! Super lively atmosphere on a sunday night, i had a few pints of 1516 as it is my favorite beer, and PBR for the heck of it. I had the chicken caesar wrap which was honestly not bad nor was it skimpy on the chicken, very surprised. The service was a bit slow as they must be cutting costs somewhere, but i did like this place.
Cheap and yummy. Mmmmh. $4.95 everything on the menu is awesome. The portions for the price is fair also (love the burgers + fries). On Wednesday they have $0.30 wings and Tuesday is all you can eat tacos for $7/8. The fish taco was alright, a bit boring in taste for me. The macaroni was great, big size, hot, and a little spicy (tastes like curry). The burgers are all good and the fresh salad is excellent. The Quesadelia was average but still good (watch out because when we ordered it, she came and dropped off guacamole (we never asked for it nor did she offer) so we thought it was included but it's an extra charge - about $1. This is the same for the fish taco - the guac. and other condiment is extra charge). Yummy overall.
Be aware this place is very busy and you may have to wait a while in the line outside. I waited about 5-10 min so I was lucky. Almost everything on the menu is under $5, seriously! You can't go wrong. We ordered wings, 2 burgers with fries, all good tasting, typical sports bar/ pub type food. The price just makes it so much better. The pop is really watered down, however. Inside the restaurant is kind of loud for my taste and service was just mediocre. But at these prices, it's hard to complain. Food 3.5/5, service 3.5/5, value 5/5.
Loved it!. I was downtown with my friend and we just came across this place and decided to give it a try based on the couple amounts of tables that were occupied. i didnt believe at first that everything was $5, but it was true. i ordered the pulled bbq chicken sandwich and substituted regular fried with yam fries which was a charge of $1.55. i thought it was delicious. no complaints about the food. the only tad bit i didn't like was that they charged me $0.99 for the chipotle mayo that came with the yam fries. the service wasn't fantastic, we had to wait a while before we got menus, and for our change, but if you're not in a hurry and you want some great & cheap comfort food, i totally recommend this place.
Ate here after the roger waters concert, needed a greasy burger to soak up the dome beer. Amazing not even just for the price. Had some kinda cheese/bacon burger, and mac and cheese (pretty sure there was a bunch of curry) which was also delish. 3 meals, 3 beers..2am...30 bucks. I will be going back.

Not bad for what it is. Tips: order the burgers!!!!! Everything (food drinks desserts) at $4.95. Um, hello? Cost less than McDonald and definitely more substantial and definitely the real food! The food tasted good for what it was. My salad was pretty good with a nice amount of feta + corn + pecan mixture that gave the salad a tad of creaminess, sweetness, nuttiness and a little crunch. Definitely not bad for $4.95 - only complain tho: my cucumber was a bit dried up.... Chicken fajita - chicken was quite dry; otherwise it was your standard fare of chicken fajita (totally within your expectations) but qudos for them to give you 5(?) tortillas!! Way too many, but if you are looking for a filling meal this is for you! I didn't try the rest but my friend commented on how salty the Poutine was.... Probably because they salted their fries before putting on the gravy... I took home a mushroom burger for my boy friend. It was really substantial at $4.95. The burger was comparable to the size you can find at red robins. Although the patty was slightly dry - it did have a nice char on the outside an boy they didn't skimp on the mushrooms. We got a lot of (A LOT) fries too. Over all I enjoyed this place and will def be back for more cheap eats for sure! I would recommend to bring your favorite company... Then you will enjoy your food!

So good. I was in here during one of the playoff Canucks games and it was crazy, everybody was given a free white towel and it felt like being in the stadium when the Canucks scored, its to bad we lost. I missed game 3 there but I will be there for every other Canucks game I can. They were giving out official canucls prizes and even had a framed jersey signed by the whole team that you could win, I want it. as for the food it was really surprising to me, I saw that it was cheap and there was a line so my gf and I decided why not try this place looks popular, we were right, the place was packed. we got some really cheap wings and a meal and the food blew us away I had mac and cheese and it was unreal, kinda spicy and ethnic tasting but it would be tough to want to try anything else if I had not tasted my gfs noodle bowl which was awesome to. I kept watching these huge burgers going out and thinking how is that 5$.
I recommend this place highly, good service, good food, and awesome atmosphere.
EAT, DRINK & WATCH HOCKEY HERE!. I was at the Famous Warehouse for the Hockey game, The food was amazing! For 5.00? I have never had such a great burger before. I think it was called the works? Now I wont be going to anywhere else for a burger in Vancouver. They had wings on for 15 cents and it was packed. They had prizes and the table that won got a whole bunch of official canucks stuff and they also had 2 official jerseys hanging and one was signed by the whole team and both of them can be won, I will be trying to go back and win that jersey for sure. the service was great. There was a line up out the door, That how you know a place is good! I would highly recommend The Famous Warehouse to anyone looking for a good time and to meet some cool new people. My friend told me about this place and they always spoke so highly of it now i know why!
P.S The warehouse sol was killer and unique.

Wednesdays Wings!. We came here to catch the hockey game and to enjoy some cheap wings. Got here at around 645, waited for 15 mins and got a good spot at the bar area just in time for the puck drop. This place was packed. There was a continuous lineup up till 9ish.
On wed. they have salt and pepper / hot wings for 15 cents. The other flavours though were 25 cents (still not bad). The wings were good for that price. A little bit on the drier side (we prefer them more juicy). We ordered about 100 wings between the three of us for the night (honey garlic and salt and pepper were our faves).
Drinks: We had 4 beers. It would be better if the drink menu had the prices listed on them. Without knowing how much it cost, we didn't want to order too much. After receiving the bill, we find out that the draft beers were around 5.30 each.
Service: Good service. We were at the bar area so the bartender served us.
Next time we will try the burgers on the menu.

Favorite Place To Eat In the City. Great prices for food, beer specials make liquor affordable.
Awesome place to hang out, start a night, end a night - cheap delicious food, super fun atmosphere.

Good alternative to McDonald and Co. Not the best you will ever have, but the food is good and the atmosphere is nice. If you want to eat cheap and avoid the optiion MacDonald or BurgerKing, that's the good place to go! Drinks are quite expensive in comparison though
Our server forgot to punch in our order. So it wasn't until half hour after we "ordered" to say something and then voila, our meals were magically ready 10 min later. Despite that hiccup, everything else was awesome. Good food and for only 5 bucks! Wicked deal for what you get. Nice vibe in there too, especially for canucks games. We'll be going back.

Chef Matt Evans came on board and took our food program to the next level. All of our dressings and sauces are now made from scratch daily, all produce is locally sourced, and the flavour profile and portion sizes will have you wondering why you have been paying more than $4.95 for a fantastic meal with amazing service all these years. We took to heart a lot of the criticisms we read here on Urbanspoon and have gone to great lengths to address issues concerning bill times and quality of service. Impressive. I could NOT believe that my daughter and i could eat for so cheaply on Granville Street! The portions are generous enough that we couldn't finish, the food was fresh and tasted good and the service was fine. Seriously, i thought there must be a catch. The only time your food items will be more than $4.95, is if you order yam fries instead of regular or caesar salad instead of green. Then they'll add a 'whopping' $1.55. We really enjoyed it. As we normally eat really light, i don't see us here often, but when a burger or pasta craving hits? The Warehouse it is.
Everything for $4.95 or.... Small little place on Granville Street. This place definitely has character. Its self seating until it gets busy where someone directs you when there is an open table. Their food is cheap; everything for $4.95 or under. Good value. Taste-wise, its just average, but definitely a good place to chill if you are on a budget. You pay what you get, but this is definitely better than some other places that charges more. Be wary about sitting near the patio as you may get hassled by pan handlers. Inside there are several flat screen TVs where they will show hockey games. Service is average, and is expected in a busy pub. Even though service is not great, its manageable for such a busy place.
Overall experience: Thumb's up.

Food portions are perfect here, and our nachos and quesadillas were delicious. Service was kind of bad but I don't blame her at all, a 20% tip on a 5 dollar meal is nothing and the place was packed! New favourite place for sure
