Went there one evening for drinks. It was about ½ full. Quiet atmosphere. The waitress got into a snit about something (not us) and abandoned us. Another waitress picked up the slack, but the first waitress’ behaviour was not professional. Good but not great selection of draft.

Went here for a few drinks before a movie. When we first got there it was perfect! Our server was incredibly nice and out drinks and food arrived in a timely manner. Unfortunately our server was just ending her shift and made sure to check on us before she left. The atmosphere of the other staff after her shift was pretty disappointing. No one seemed to want to be there. For a pub full of people you'd think you would see a smile on their faces?

Wonderful little spot. Pool table is free and booze is fun. Good fun crowd hangs out there too. Would recommend if you like drinking and fun. Also, didn't lose a single game of pool ALL night.

The Winking Judge must have new owners or management. Looking at the reviews from 2018 and before people were enjoying this place so we decided to give it a try. Wow, big mistake. Our server was rude and didn't really know how to do her job. One of the meals was wrong - my friend ordered a beef burger and got chicken. One of the meals was late - my food came out almost 10 minutes after everyone else at the table. The appetizer came after the meals - the cheese bread we ordered arrived after everyone had started eating. The food didn't taste good. It's also very expensive for the quality, their house wine was on special for $1 per oz so $9 for a large glass of HOUSE wine. My main of shepherds pie was $19.50 and the fish and chips were well over $20 for two small pieces of fish. We all regretted going to this place. In the future I will go to Joey's which is just down the street, has a proper kitchen, professional friendly servers and the same prices for higher quality food and drinks.

Great little pub. The bartender Ian is fantastic. They are open late and have good prices. There is a pool table and drink specials. It's a hot spot for service industry staff so there are always fun, nice people there. Especially at night.

Drink specials on a Saturday night were good. Waitress was super friendly but in a genuine way; Not at all overbearing.
Bouncer has beautiful blue eyes so that helps distract from the high pitch stereo blasting music that didn't really suit the atmosphere.
Overall good stop amongst Vancouver's many Irish pubs. 🍻

Great convenient location. Went with a couple friends for drinks and we all ended up ordering food. I was expecting pub food but the kitchen wasn't quite up to par. The taco salad was extremely heavy and overdressed. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail was tough and overcooked. My friends brownie was decent. Would go back for drinks but probably eat elsewhere.

It is across the street from the theatre. Nice English pub aesthetic. Food is alright albeit limited in selection. It is a loud and busy intersection and the place gets a weird vibe at night complete with bouncers at the bar. Better places in the area but if you have tickets to the movies, works like a charm.
