As a long time Vegan, I can say with confidence that I was so impressed this tea salon! I never thought I’d be able to enjoy the experience of “High Tea”, but Neverland has created such a lovely Vegan High Tea, our server was amazing, the food was fresh and delicious, the tea options were plentiful and just as good as they sounded. The atmosphere is adorable, lots of parking in a nice neighbourhood. I’ve gone twice in one week, and can say that I’ll be back many times in the future!
The staff, the food, the bevy selection, the creative atmosphere - all 5 star. Congratulations on your anniversary coming up! And thanks from a big fan of tea.
The decor is adorable, the staff was polite & attentive, our tea was superb, & the food was delectable! Our waitress was even kind enough to put a candle in my scone when she heard it was my birthday! I would 100% come here again!
The best tea in Vancouver. I have been taking my daughter there for 3 years now since she was only 3months old.
Love this place sooo much!
The best place for afternoon tea, mini or full versions. Plus their lunch menu is excellent as well! Great services!
Went here with my co-workers for a get-together. The food and tea was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great and relaxing. If I could, I'd go here every week!
Took my daughters for high tea and it was a truly amazing experience! The food and tea were absolutely delicious!
Very big table to accommodate their gorgeous trays. Tea menu is amazing, if we only had more time and stomach room
Beautiful space, great service, and a wonderful place to go for tea and catch-up!
Absolutely amazing tea room, unique delicious twists on traditional tea favorites, and gorgeous decor!
We tried it because it had a coupon in the Entertainment Book. We will definitely go back, even though it's miles away! The food was beautiful and tasted so good and the service was A-1!
Great decor and atmosphere for a bridal shower! Love the three choices of high tea sets, unlimited tea and a cup of tea to bring home!
Very cute high tea place with all the works - fancy teacups, girly decor, etc. At the time that I went, their grand high tea set was $38 with unlimited tea but now I believe it is $48. For its original price point ($38), Neverland is a really great deal but with the new price point, it is less attractive.

I haven’t had afternoon tea in years so it’s about time I tried it again. After doing some research, it seemed like Neverland Tea Salon was a good option based on price, food portions and ambiance. They even serve vegan and dairy free versions of their afternoon tea. If you’re not feeling too hungry, you can order their “demi-tea” which is a smaller version of their afternoon tea with less food items.
High tea on a Sunday is always a treat. Tea here is steeped at the counter so each pot’s flavour is perfect. We ordered one grand adventure and one vegan set so we could try more items. At $39 it’s definitely a special occasion meal.
Neverland is one of my favourite places for high tea. Although the prices for high tea may seem a bit expensive, this one is worth it. I leave feeling full and usually bring home leftover desserts.
For this visit, I chose to get their Neverland grande high tea. What I noticed that was different this time is that you actually can choose multiple teas. Order one kind of tea and when you finish, you can choose a different one. I thought that this was interesting and a great idea since their tea list is so large. Overall, their food was good. There is lots of variety with the items. Although, I didn't eat the vanilla cupcake with matcha and coconut or the dark chocolate mousse cake since I was too full. I think my favourite item was the grilled cheese. Still warm with the cheese nicely melted.
Service was OK during my visit this time. It was really busy. So make sure to make reservations to get a table.
Okay, so I took some liberties with the lyrics… In any event, Neverland Tea Salon is located in Kits and offers an interesting take on Afternoon Tea. We came here during April to try out their Neverland Grande Easter High Tea ($38 per person) which lets you have a never-ending selection of tea. It normally comes with your choice of either a sweet citrus scone or a savory cheddar scone but you can get both for an extra $2 (which we wound up doing).
Came with a friend armed with an entertainment book coupon for a fun girls afternoon! It was a lovely time. Our server was friendly and accessible. I made a reservation using open table and we got seated promptly. The salon is decorated so beautifully.
They had a vegetarian high tea option for my friend and I had their regular option. I thought the food was fun and I definitely enjoyed the nibbles and tea, as the two of us caught up. The desserts and biscuits with cream and jam were heavenly. I liked the curry egg sandwiches the most and their vanilla cupcake with pistachio icing, which was such a unique tasting dessert. Between the two of us we must of tried 8 or 9 teas. My favorite tea was the Lady Guava tea.
We had a great experience but both of us agree this is very much a treat or special occasion sort of thing, as it's regularly $32 a person! If I ever get another special voucher, I'll have to come back!
There is a variety of tea to choose from and you can always ask for different teas at no extra costs. The savoury sandwiches were actually better than the sweets.

Neverland Tea Salon is delightfully charming tea shop located in the heart of Kitsilano. To celebrate the festive season, Neverland Tea Salon launched their Holiday High Tea for the month of December. For their Holiday High Tea, you get a choice of Demi Tea ($28 per person) or the Neverland Grande High Tea ($40 per person). Bob, Barb and I decided to go with the full service to get the full experience.
I happened to pass by this place and figured that my tea and high-tea loving friend would love to check this place out. We didn’t end up getting a high tea (you need reservations) and had a la carte instead. Since we just dropped by, it was either sitting by the counter by the window, or outside on the patio (rather sidewalk).
If your looking to host at a high tea place, this is a great place. The decor is lovely and the presentation is flawless. If your a member from the Arbutus club, you'll see alot of regulars here. Prices are a touch high but your definitely paying for the environment and service. Plenty of parking outside. There is a nice variety of teas here.
Called in advance to confirm they have their high tea menu available everyday, my friend and I decided to give it a try on a Tuesday afternoon. Conveniently located on Broadway, Neverland Tea Salon is easily accessible by bus. My friend also had no problem finding parking. The decoration is adorable. I appreciate their wide selection of tea, and more importantly, I like that we can choose a different pot of tea when we ask for refills. Our server was kind and attentive (wish I remember her name), and offered to change our tea cups when we switched between teas. I ordered their demi tea since I was not too hungry. I find their sweets a bit too heavy for my taste, but I enjoyed the savory sandwiches. I would recommend this place to my friends, and will likely visit again to try their grande high tea in the future.
The Molangs decided to go try Afternoon High Tea at Neverland Tea Salon this past Saturday. We made reservations online in advance. When we arrived 5 minutes early for our reservation and were asked to wait at this very cute blue chair near the tea counter. The decor was, if the name doesn’t suggest it already, Peter Pan themed. I found the decorations to be extremely cute with a lot of references to the magical world of Neverland.

We were contemplating between the Demi High Tea ($20 per person) with two pots of tea and limited selection of pastries and sandwiches, and the High Tea ($32 per person) with unlimited (yes, endless selections) of teas and a three tier set of their decadent treats.
Since both love to sample tea, it was a no brainer we decided to try the High Tea!
The bottom layer was selections of their savoury finger sized sandwiches, which included a silky grilled cheese sandwich and Thai red curry egg salad.
The second layer was filled with a delightful variety of sweets.
The top layer consist of one savoury cheese and onion scone, and one sweet strawberry scone with devonshire cream.
Neverland had over 60 selections of green, white, oolong, herbal, roobios, black tea etc. We ordered 6 teas each for a total of 12 samples.
My favourite was the December Rose, a herbal tea infused with floral ingredients such as lavender, mint and rose petals. It was nice and light, and goes extremely well with the pastries!

May 30, 2016 · by ThatShanghaiGirl · I tried to get a reservation for Mothers day but they were unfortunately full, so my mom and I decided to come for her birthday the week after! The place is absolutely adorable, and although the place is extremely busy the staff are still attentive. We ordered
Love this high tea salon, where you can try as many teas as you like in one sitting! They'll even let you take a cup to go! Great selection of teas and inventive savory and sweet bites to accompany your tea.
Neverland Tea a beautifully decorated place to take some friends for high tea, their presentation for their food also quite nice. A few friends and I tried the high tea sets and really enjoyed them! They have a great selection of teas but also have other options for those who prefer something else, i enjoyed their savoury finger sandwiches as they were each fairly different to one another. I found I was too full to finish most of the sweets but did try a little of each, although many seemed to decadent or sweet for me I did enjoy how well they complimented the tea.
I recently made a trip to Neverland Tea Salon for the first time. I had heard about this place but while I enjoy having tea and relaxing in a vintage/cute space, I often find the experience food-wise a bit of a let down. Neverland Tea Salon itself is a beautiful room with chandeliers and vintage decor. Service was excellent with the server taking time to note our orders and explain the menu and teas. The best part was having unlimited teas to try and the server was so nice and even made us a tea to take for the road when we were finished! I enjoyed the scones and the savouries here - the desserts were less appealing for me - I am not a fan of cakes with mousse/mousse-like filling. I perfer having desserts for these sets to be each individually made, e.g., individual tarts, mini cupcakes, macarons, individually filled chocolate/pastry cups etc. Overall, I enjoyed my tea experience very much and would definitely come back.
Want to have high tea or enjoy some sweets at Neverland Tea Salon? Make sure you call to reserve a table or make reservation online.
I reserved a table for two online a week ago and made sure the time that I wanted to go would be available. Street parking is available near the tea salon. $2/hour at parking meter. If you want to park for free, you may park further away and walk to the tea salon.
Once I got to the tea salon and spelled my name, they cleaned a table right away and let us sit. We didn't have to wait for a long time. The tea salon was packed! 98% were ladies. haha.. There were a couple or few guys only.
We ordered the Neverland high tea at $30/person. We chose to drink London Fog and peach oolong. There were great. The high tea had a set menu as follows.
FINGER SANDWICHES
* Lemon herbed cream cheese, cucumber, and arugula on whole wheat.
* Chicken salad with tarragon, salt-roasted pears, walnuts, and globe grapes.
* Thai red curry egg salad with sliced cucumber and mango chutney.
* Warm truffled mushroom duxelle with ripe brie and arugula.
* Smoked Sockeye salmon on dark rye with edamame guacamole and crunchy peas
PASTRIES
* Spiced pumpkin cupcake with granola crunch and maple buttercream.
* Triple chocolate raspberry brownie with milk chocolate ganache.
* Classic mascarpone tiramisu.
* Passion fruit custard tartlet with tropical fruit salad and coconut meringue.
* Served with a traditional scone, strawberry jam, Devonshire cream, and never-ending tea.
Everything tasted great! The portion was about right for ladies, but guys might not have enough. It was a great place to sit down, eat and chat especially that everyone who came here wanted to be relaxed and enjoyed the sweets and a cup of tea.
The waitresses took care of all the customers well. They were polite as well. They would remind the customers that each table would have 1.5 hours to spend, so the tables needed to be given to the other new customers. I think it makes sense and it is fair enough.
I would definitely come back here with my girlfriends when I have time. "LIKE!" :)
There were four of us, and we ordered two separate sets of high tea. We ordered the high tea ($30 each) and the demi high tea ($18 each), but it was slightly cheaper from the coupon. With the high tea, you get bottomless tea (!!!!) but with the demi high tea, you are only able to select two teas per person.Demi tea ($18/person): This is the smaller and cheaper selection of high tea. The pastries and sandwiches offered with the demi tea are the same as high tea, but it does not include some items. Since my cousin and aunt had already been here many times and weren’t that hungry, they split the demi tea.
I still remember the first time that I heard about high tea. It was about fifteen years ago, I was a teenager, and my older brother came home from The Secret Garden Tea Company, and told me the wonders of eating tiny cucumber sandwiches and drinking delicious tea in what looked like our grandma’s house. I was mesmerized. Mostly because my then 18 year old brother had just admitted that he went for high tea. I obviously teased him mercilessly. Since then, I’ve been able to try a number of different high tea services around the city for myself, and have come to understand the pleasure of drinking tea and nibbling on fancy little sandwiches. Surprisingly, one of the few high tea establishments that I had yet to visit was actually Neverland Tea Salon which is located only a couple of minutes walk from my house. When Baby Mama offered to come into Vancouver with the babe to visit me for lunch one day, I knew it would be the perfect spot to visit.
The high tea is wonderful, with ever-changing seasonal sweets and savory sandwiches. The scone was covered in sugar which was too sweet for me though. Endless tea allows you to sample as many pots of their tea as you can drink! The service is stellar - we had to wait 20 minutes for our reservations, but after we got the check they gave us each a full sized bag of tea on the house for our trouble! They really care about their customers. The only thing is, the table by the window is way too low for adults, so sitting there for an hour+ is very uncomfortable
The interior decor is gorgeous- soft and magical, this is a really lovely place to sit and unwind and enjoy a good cup of tea. Variety of great Tea choices. And scones were marvelous as well.
This is now one of my favourite place for afternoon tea. The service and food is great. I'll definitely be back
One of the great things about Neverland Tea Salon is the unlimited pots of tea. I have experienced elsewhere where you only get one refill (though the cost of the overall high tea was cheaper). Their tea list is extensive with over 60 types of tea. My friend had the Vanilla Ice Cream which was a vanilla and black tea blend. I tried one of their summer tea features, Summer Romance, which was a Ceylon black tea and Japanese sencha blend with summer berries, jasmine flowers, calendula and rose petals. As a black tea lover, I found Summer Romance to be very fragrant and pleasing.

Neverland Tea Salon has been on my To-Go list for a long time, and when I found out that there was a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon in the Entertainment Book, I dragged Mark to go with me ASAP (yes, a dude who likes high tea!!) The high tea retails for $30 per person so $30 for two is the best deal!. The interior of Neverland Tea Salon is adorable; with cutesy decorations and vintage chairs, tables, and teacups. They have a nice tea selection; I opted for the Jasmine Blueberry, a green tea infused with jasmine and dried blueberries. Mark opted for Monk’s Blend, a black tea with notes of apple and malt.
Each high tea service is so different from one to another. The setting and what is served, contributes to this uniqueness of experience. So on a mission to try it all, and deem on best, I found myself here for afternoon tea with a girlfriend. An all charcoal black paint job with matching black patio tables and black chairs out front. It wasn’t very telling from looks alone. Lace dollies and pastel tones were well hidden.
We ordered their High Tea ($30.00) with came with 5 sandwiches, 4 pastries, scone with cream and jam, and never-ending tea. We didn't know what they meant by "never-ending tea", but were pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to switch teas as many times as we wanted! So if we could drink that much, we could've sampled every tea from their list! (Which was quite a lot). I forgot to take a picture of the tea list, but they had a nice comprehensive list of many tea blends of white, green, black, herbal, and rooibos teas! I got a green tea one (something about Peter Pan) which was light and fragrant.
Nice Decoration Place ~ very Fancy. I love their decoration and setting. The food there is ok~ not super fancy but it's not too bad.
I also love their tea selection. I check other people's comment before I decide to try it out!
They allow you to try as many as you want from their tea selection, and that's a plus bonus!
I will definitely go back for the future and recommend it to my friends... not mainly for the food,
but it's comfortable to sit in a place like this little cute shop... just except one thing people do need to talk loud as it becomes noisy from time to time depends on the group of people sitting around your table.. other than that.. overall is good~
Being an afternoon tea addict I had to try this place! The thing that lured me in the most was the name, Neverland. What a charming name! It gave me memories of my childhood while watching peterpan. Anyways, I dragged my friend here all the way from Burnaby by public transportation and that was not very fun.. It took I would say 50 minutes to get to Neverland and I really hoped that it was worth the trek. We got off the bus stop and walked up the road to find the place, and it was not very hard to find. ‘Neverland tea salon’ was written in big enchanting gold letters outside the shop, I thought it was extremely beautiful! A
Thanks so much to Rosie and everyone else for making my BFF's bridal shower a success! We had a party of 13 girls and the tea towers, flatbreads and teas were all amazing! (The cheese scones with caramalized onions were nicknamed "delicious little things"). The staff were very attentive and made sure our teas were always full and that food was made to our liking. They even let us play a few games and open all the gifts. Thanks again and will definitely return for some tea and scones!
