Motomachi Shokudo - Vancouver - Photo album

While there’s plenty of ramen options in the neighbourhood, for me Motomachi stands out as a favourite. The ramen is excellent here - good options, quality ingredients, and decent portions. Intimate space, friendly staff, quick service, good ambiance. Seating is kind of uncomfortable so I wouldn’t
A very cozy place with an small underwhelming menu. Ordered the Spicy Miso which was ok. Nothing about it stood out. Not at all spicy. The price was good though. Won’t go back. There’s better ramen out there. (Visited on March 5th 2022)
We came here as the lineup outside Kintaro Ramen was a bit long for our liking and our kids were super hungry. Plenty of seating available here so were worried about how good it would be. There was no need to worry. We found the quality of the Ramen broth to be excellent (rich and plenty of depth
It’s very authentic and not too complicated! I love that the chair is so unique! I also love the fact you can hang your jacket on the wall and not worrying where to put them! Services are very nice, they are very efficient and kind! I ordered Shoyu chicken chashu and gyoya there! So delicious!
Delicious! The ramen broth is lighter and they have the black miso flavour! The pork kakuni was also tasty. Would go again, perfect date spot for the winter!
Motomachi Shokudo has been a staple for me for a long time. The ramens are flavorable and the team is welcoming and cooperative Super friendly and attentive service made my experience very pleasant. Highly recommended.
This place is amazing. It has a very traditional/authentic Japanese feel. Indoor is small but cozy, which really adds to the experience. The staff was friendly and courteous. I had their shoyu ramen and it was absolutely delicious. I found it lot better than other higher end ramen places in Vancouve
I used to come here a lot. I used to love their Spicy Miso Ramen which included chicken, corn, lotus root, sugar snap peas etc... Then later on they changed owners and tweaked that fantastic Ramen!!! Now I don't say is as good anymore. But it's still on my top 3 Ramen shops that I like in Vancouver
