Score on Davie is a friggin' sweet little sports bar located at 1262 Davie Street in Vancouver! You can pay to park along Davie and I'm pretty sure it's free after 10pm. The bar itself has a bunch of big LED TV's so you won't miss a second of any game. If it's a busy Friday or Saturday night they might sit you at a table with other people, so be prepared to make new friends.
I arrived at Score at around 9:30pm on a busy Saturday night, it was completely packed inside and outside on the patio but I somehow managed to sneak a table after only waiting for a few minutes.
Once seated a friendly waiter came over and took my food order, I started with the Sriracha Pineapple Free Run Chicken wings, they didn't look that pretty on the plate but MAN were they DELICIOUS, they were juicy, saucy, all around amazing wings, some of the best wings I've had. I also ordered the Jerk Chicken Poutine appetizer, I loved the fries, the chicken was tender and the jerk gravy was unique, I do wish there was a little more gravy but it was still really good nonetheless. I knew I was going to be reviewing the joint on Yelp later on so I had to try the 7oz AAA beef Score Burger that came on a nice brioche bun with bacon onion jam, cheddar cheese, tomato, butter lettuce and the special score aioli, it was a step ahead of other bar burgers, really-really tasty! Since I was swinging for the fences on this one I also had to try the Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, oh my GOD it was SO GOOD, slow roasted BBQ pulled pork on top of a triple cheese beer cream sauce baked with fresh mozzarella topped with bread crumbs, all I can say is WOW, you can't really beat a good feed of Mac & Cheese now can ya? To top it all off I ordered the Score Smore, it had vanilla ice cream, a waffle, whip cream, chocolate, toasted marshmallow and a graham cracker crumble... what more could you want from a dessert?! So much yum, I couldn't even handle it.
At the end of the day Score is just a down to earth little bar on Davie street. The drinks are averagely priced. The food is better than your typical pub food. They play good music. The atmosphere is fun. The staff are helpful and energetic. It's just an all around good place to meet up with friends and have a drink and a bite to eat!
I'll definitely be back!
Stopped in this afternoon for a couple drinks with my dad and others. My father loves coca cola products and will not accept Pepsi as a mix or anything else for that matter. He ordered a dark rum and coke while The score has Pepsi products so he stuck with water.
At which point every establishment we had been in for the past 6 days of their visiting wouldn't have batted an eyelash or thought anything of it.
10 minutes later our waitress(I cannot remember her name because I am a horrible person) requested that he ordered a dark rum and coke because they went and bought a litre bottle just for his one rum and coke (obviously I couldn't let the coke go bad so I ordered a rum too).
That was customer service. Thank you to the server and manager involved in making his dark rum and coke happen.
It's not about the drink, it is about the experience you created.
Our waitress Breanna was a doll awesome service
Thanks for fixing our dumb mistake ordering fake beer lol
Thanks for an awesome job as always food is awesome service rocks and prices are fair
Labor Day lunch well worth the visit
But as always never had a bad experience here
Highly recommend The Score to any one
The score is close to my home and every time I go there they take such good care of me it is on believable generally when the weather is nice I like to sit on the patio and typically the patio is very full often they will seat me inside and then move me to the patio when there is an opening and I really appreciate that as well even when it is very busy there they always seem to be able to get me drinks on time and I really appreciate that also I give the score of five star rating their food is delicious and their drinks are cold the Staff are great
Service, atmosphere, food. Cool vibe, great staff and food. Highly recommend. First visit to Vancouver from Michigan. Love this place and the city
Love this place! Best staff, best gluten free menu in town... except for the fact that they took the F*#% Yeah Fishsticks off the menu (which I am personally in mourning for) simply amazing!!
We stopped in on Saturday evening before heading downtown. Place was packed but the host and a server accommodated up. Food was good. we returned this morning a little hung over but the server looked after us well even though we weren't ordering much. Place has lots of TVs for watching sports. Great place to hang out and have a drink. Will be back next time we are on Davie

I watched a drunk person use their hot finger washing lemon water as dip for multiple plates of wings. It's one of my favourite memories.
Service and the ceasars are great!
New in Vancouver? Looking for a great place to eat? Craving a great Caesar?
You found it.
Nice place, I really like it. I recommend this place ...
First visit to Van and first spot I ate, so pleased!! I love this place,()3 atmosphere is amazing, people, food and music! Definitely can't wait to come back 👌🏽
Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere 👍🏼 Our Go to place when downtown! Great selection of food & drinks for everyone!!
A friend knows I love caesars and showed me a pic of the specialty ones The Score serves. We were on Davie and decided to stop in and have a drink and try the cauliflour wings. They were amazing and better yet service was awesome!!!! A high energy atmosphere and a fun place to have a great caesar!!!!!
Get around it! The ceaser combos are epic and be careful not to make the mistake I did of ordering a massive ceaser/burger combo and ordering food.
I had the Caesar drink with burger great lunch size and the drink was delicious. Waiter was great
This place is pretty infamous for their crazy cocktails, where they apparently use hamburgers as garnishes, but they do also offer a pretty good menu with bar/comfort food. It was quite empty and quiet when I visited during lunch time. I got their Fried Chicken Dinner, which was quite tasty and very satisfying. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I'd highly recommend checking this place out, either for their gorgeous drinks or their food. Just make sure to bring ID: they only allow legal adults to enter, regardless of whether you order alcohol or not.
Fried Chicken Dinner ($17):
3.5/5
This consisted of two substantial pieces of fried chicken, mac & cheese, coleslaw, jalepeno cheddar corn bread, and cabin sauce. I found the chicken to be a bit of a letdown. While it was tender, juicy and well-seasoned, the coating as soggy and fell right off of the meat. The sides, however, were delicious. The noodles in the mac & cheese were perfectly cooked and while I do wish that there was more cheese, it was still quite creamy. The coleslaw was also creamy and flavourful. The cornbread was sweet with a slight bit of heat from the jalepeno; I did find the texture to be a bit gummy however. I really didn't care much for the cabin sauce; it was vinegary with a bit of heat, and had a weird, pungent smell that was off-putting. Fortunately, they served it on the side, so I didn't have to touch it.
140 characters summary: I only know of the Score on Davie based on their Caesars. Great atmosphere but fell short to deliver on the Caesar hype. . The Score on Davie is known for its outrageous caesar creations and I finally had a chance to try it. The first impression as I walked in, plenty of seating, tons of TVs, looks like a pretty friendly bar. Service was pretty good, tons of attention and check-ins with water refills. I had a pretty long chat with my friend and they didn't rush us at all.
One-liner: The only place you'll pay $60 for a Caesar that's worth the experience with your crew
Highlight: Checkmate Caesar
Price per person: $20-$35
Would I go back? No, but my memory of the Checkmate Caesar is one that I will cherish forever.
Check out my blog post for the full review!
Score on Davie is a must when in Vancouver ! I'm celiac and there gluten free menu was AMAZING ! Pretty much there whole menu can be made gluten free and the cook in the kitchen is celiac as well so you know things are gonna be made right ! THe service is perfect , the bartenders are wonderful , always on top of drinks and food , 10/10 forsure !! A must try, Especially if you are gluten free or celiac , because i cannot tell you how long I've gone without a bun on a burger !! Cannot express how much you feel welcomed at thing place !! Will definitely be back ! Thank you SCORE on davie !
Great service. Great food. Great drinks. We're from out of town and the bartenders were super helpful with good places to eat around the city, we were never without a drink or service. I would highly recommend going here if you're in Vancouver.
Caesars!!! Wow. This place has some damn good Caesars. I wish I knew about it sooner. I had a cheeseburger Caesar, and my friend had a grilled cheese Caesar. I also ordered some enchaladas. They were OK.
Great food and atmosphere! Great brunch options (especially over cocktails). Their Caesars are delicious - made with mango fire hot sauce! Awesome nachos, cauliflower wings. Great after work spot with one of the few patios in the west end.
Great place for a group meet up or a date on Davie. Overall would recommend this place for cocktail or just any gathering.
Ambience: it's dark and cozy with loud background noise. Lots of eye candy but not a place if you wanna have a serious talk. ** note the unisex washroom. Kinda awkward but oh well ...
Food / Drinks: I tried the pulled pork macaroni (it was too dark for photos but I found a pic online for show&tell).... Really good and I had added hot sauce to it which kicks the taste up a notch. Drinks options are great and the Caesar yum.
Next time I would try the Caesar that comes with fried food. It looks heavy but definitely makes me curious. Check out their website.
Service: you will be check for ID at the door. The service is overall great. The drinks came fast. Food got slightly delayed but maybe because it was really packed. We had 9 people in the group and got a table fast. The server was checking if we needed drinks (even water) regularly.
This one has long been on my list of places to try, because it has one special thing I have been meaning to try. Those who know me know that I like things larger than they normally are, smaller than they are typically, and more extreme than they ought to be. So they have this caesar…. “The Score” seems like a hot spot on Davie. I have often passed by and have always seen their patio full when available. Their black and white sugar sugar skull logo was like a beacon marking their outdoor seating area. An area where strung up bulbs and white panels create an escape from the bustle of the sidewalk. But winter was approaching, the patio was closed, and the warmth of indoors beckoned.
OMG!! The Ceasars .... a novalty freak - show in (and on) a glass. The ceasar taste was so-so, but the 4oz of vodka helped smooth the drink taste out. If the restaurant can up their game on the basic drink....then score is a must visit Vancouver destination spot. There are other things to rejoice about ....the condiments on the drink : half bbq chicken, onion rings, hamburger, hotdog, pulled pork slider, hot fudge brownie, chicken wings ...and the pickle were all DELICIOUS. The drink (if you can call it just a drink) was not all about freak -show novelty. ..the food on it very yummy. And the service was WOW factor. My buddy asked for change so he could punch money into a street parking meter and extend his time while eating. The waiter got change and then ran down the street to put coins in the meter for him so his visit was not interrupted....wow!
If you want a fried meal on top of your Caesar, which lets get down to it, everybody wants maybe once a year then the score is your place. Great place to watch the game too.
We had brunch on a Sunday here. We were a group of 10 and they accommodated us the best they could for a busy morning. It was the morning after a night of heavy drinking so comfort food was all I wanted. And this place was perfect for that. There were so many options that sounded amazing. I decided to go for the buttermilk chicken eggs benny. Overall I thought it was really good. There was honey dijon drizzled over it which gave it a good mixture of savoury and sweet. A part of my chicken was a bit tough and one of the eggs was unusually small but it’s definitely no reason to not go back. I also had mimosas to make my Sunday brunch complete.
I really enjoyed my experience at the Score. The inside is really cool, I really like the bottle cap murals that they had displayed and they have a great patio too. I went there on a Sunday for brunch and luckily my friends had already secured a table or the wait would have been very long. The waiter was really upbeat and chipper which also really contributed to the experience. I ordered the buttermilk chicken eggs benny, and so did most other people at my table. The general consensus was very positive. They mixed some interesting flavours in one eggs benny. I would definitely recommend it. Other people at my table ordered the pork belly eggs benny which also got some pretty positive reviews. With some mimosas and some caesars I must say it was quite the Sunday Brunch!@
The Score is awesome! Great food, great vibes and great service. We went in for brunch and I had The Score’s Big Breakfast which came with all the usuals, plus pierogies - wahoo! It was a great hangover cure, along with a caeser or two, which are on special on Sundays. Alan, our server, was super friendly and vibrant and great at up-selling us all.
I brought my friends from Australia in on another day, to have their famous Check Mate Caeser, complete with a full roast chicken, sliders, wings, onion rings, brownie and more. Great experience every time I’ve come in, definitely recommend!
Great service from Thomas. Ive been to the store 5 times now and twice i have been served by Thomas. Supper positive attitude and amazing service. Cheers, Dylan.
We went to watch soccer, but were impressed by the food and service. Loved the hash bowls and Jessica took great care of us. Thumbs up on the Charlotte. Be aware of the coed washroom.
Best Breakfast Around for $6.50. My go to Breakfast joint on the weekends.
Absolutely loved it. The staff is composed of very friendly and caring people. Prices are affordable, service is great, and the sports experience is immersive
Yum. Went here for the first time today. Absolutely love the variety on the menu. Our food was fresh, well presented and tasty. Really enjoyed the wrap I had as the tortilla was nice and fresh. The caeser salad was the best I had had in a long time.
Looking forward to returning and trying the mac and cheese with pulled pork ;)
It's the closest pub to our home so we would go there quite often. Great vibe, great servers, and great food. I miss their half price Monday meals and haven't eaten too much from the new menu. But it seems to be the best local place to watch any game
Cheap and Cheerful. The best breakfast for $5 in the 'hood!
Always a winner!. Local pub surprises with great surroundings, staff and menu. Burgers are best in the neighbourhood and wings are the best I've had in years. Perfect venue for the playoffs! Beer selection is better than most!
A Fresh Face on Sports. Score on Davie is a fresh new face in sports lounges. A 71" HD tv is a centerpiece to this slick and friendly venue. Pub food to make everyone feel at home watching the NHL, CFL, NFL, and all other sporting events. A seperate room can hold private functions as well. From wings to wild salmon entrees, Score's menu can satisfy any hunger pangs. Their famous $5 breakfast entertains the late risers, served until 8pm daily. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday is always a hit in the neighbourhood. Drink speials are offered daily. Check out their website www.scoreondavie.com or their facebook page for upcoming events. Let your new livingroom be Score on Davie. The friendly staff will keep you smiling!
Just like Chinatown is designed and created to look Chinese, Davie Street is decked out to look…well, fabulous. So at first glance it seems that a sports bar is a bit out of place for the area. C
This place was busy on a Friday night but I didn't wait long to get in. The people here were so friendly and our server was nice. The place has some good vibes. They got some board games here and a couple of TVs to watch some sports. The drinks were good. I ordered a Caesar with burger and onions on it. The nachos were very good and the portion was big considered this is a small size. This is a gay-friendly bar and so expect the washroom to be communal. I would definitely recommend this place.
I’m so impressed by this place on Davie with innovative food sculptures they make on a Caesar and the other beverages they offer here.
We tried their Mac N Caesar and Hot wings Caesar. Fried food and alcohol A+
Highly recommend this place! The food on top of the tasted really good and the Caesar was strong
Loved the vibe of the place also
Amazing food & drinks. We had feroz as our server, they had a issue with their internet so we had to wait a little bit but they made up for it big time. No joke my go-to bar from now on anytime I am in downtown. If you haven't been you MUST GO. if you have been you already know 💞
As a European I was not ready for this.. But it was an interesting experience! This extravagant lovechild of a Bloody Mary and a hamburger really did help to get over last evenings wedding afterparty.
The bulldogs are delicioussss and they give big quantities of food!! Nice service and yum yum ! Not too many vegetarian options but the ones that they did have were so yum
A cool restaurant with the best Caesar ! The foods are tasty , the staffs are friendly!
If you love Cesar, try out this restaurant!
I’ve been a number of times and always enjoy my experience. Decent beer selection and some good snacks.
I find always having sports playing in TVs around the pub really clash with the otherwise nice modern pub aesthetic.
