My classmates and I got a chance to celebrate success for finishing our Master's program, so we decided to celebrate last night at Joey Bantall One. I ordered the Prime Sirloin with Malbec red wine, and oh so good! What I highly appreciate as well is accommodating crew who served us. She was enthusiastically interacting and giving suggestions what's best to order. She even gave us a complimentary cocktail drinks after she knew that we're having a celebration. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone --- great food, relaxing ambience, approachable staff!

I had the greatest experience at Joey Bentall ONE last night.
My girlfriend and I booked a table to celebrate four years of being together. When arriving we had no wait and was seated straight away.
The staff were exceptional. Very friendly and welcoming. Upon learning that we were celebrating they went out of their way to make it a special night for us, and they succeeded! I honestly couldn't have asked for better service.
When our order arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The portions were a good size and the food was amazing! Considering the quality of the food the price was exceptionally good. I am used to paying twice the price!
We left Joey Bentall One a very happy couple. We will be back, and hopefully soon!
Ten ladies out to celebrate our sister’s birthday on April 07th, had an amazing evening. Our waitress was amazing & was very very good at recommending food & drinks. She was very attentive & the food (& drinks) was wonderful. When we first arrived we were not happy with our table (had 2 wanted 1) hostess was very quick at correcting this with a smile. Had dinner in the One Room last night before seeing a movie at a nearby theatre and as per usual it was thoroughly enjoyable! Food and ambiance was superb, but our server, Aliesha, really made it memorable! So engaging, genuine, witting, and a great sense of humour! She greeted us like good friends and make us feel very special....what a delightful individual! We'll be back!!
As always amazing people, food & atmosphere! Such class from the champagne while we waited briefly for our table right through until it was time to leave......always more than a 5* in my books!

Great place to come with a big group. The food was good and the drinks were poured very well. The wait staff worked very hard to keep up with everyone.
This particular location is situated in the financial district of downtown Vancouver. It seems to be always busy night and day.
The ahi tuna burger is definitely delightful! Love the tuna - cooked to perfection!
The ambience is nice especially the outdoor patio, perfect for a summer stop!

Went there in a very busy lunch time, we ordered : Rainbow Roll
(ahi tuna, salmon, crab, avocado, Sriracha aioli) as appetizers. For entrees, we ordered : Steak Frites
(6 oz cut, parsley butter, rocket greens, fries); their famous Spanish Paella
(lobster sa ffron broth, prawns, shrimp, smoked chorizo, chicken, rice).
The Rainbow Roll was good. The Steak was cooked properly - the meat was juicy & tender. The Paella was wonderful and so yummy. Service was ok.

Quintessential west coast fusion food. The Ahi Tuna steak burger with onion rings inside was pretty tasty and JOEY is known for it. The yam fries were perfect. Service was great on a Tuesday night.

I ordered what I always order at a JOEY's ... Rotisserie Chicken (without the veggies). I only had four bananas and a handful of nacho chips all day so was STARVING ... needless to say, I ate it all and it was delicious. Romea was my server and she took good care of me.
As a downtown place for weekday lunch or quick bite on the weekend, this Joey does not disappoint. Should also be a good choice for tourists after a long day of sight seeing. The menu is wide enough, Vancouver style, for most diets, so everybody in your party would be satisfied. I've never really had a bad service experience, but then there's nothing really to rave about either. If you are heading there for lunch be sure you get in before noon. Expect it for what it's intended to be... an upgrade to any White Spot/Red Robin. A good switch from it's main competition across the street where the experience is similar (hint: C C Cafe).

So this is coming a bit late since I never got around to sending the thank you card. I came in for my birthday on the 22nd of March, and because of this Joey resturant and the staff that night, I had one of my best birthdays to date. It started with me calling asking to make a reservation, although they didn't do that on Fridays, they would see what they could do. They placed me on priority list and when we arrived, no more than 5 minutes later we were seated. We had awesome, wonderful, nice servers all night, the service was attentive, I'd specifically like to thank Caitlin Williamson for being so great. I loved the food, all my friends loved the drinks. We were seated on the patio, although cold outside the patio was quite warm and comfy. I think this has been one of the most pleasant times I've had at a chain restaurant, when they top it off with a lava cake for my birthday, still warm. Thank you guys so much, I have had the best time ever at Joey in Bentall. I hope to see you guys again sometime, perhaps soon I will bring in the thank you card.

After dinner drinks and dessert. Came here after having dinner somewhere else to drink some more and have dessert.
Had the Molten Lava Chocolate Souffle and it was pretty delicious.. The melted chocolate came flowing out when I dug into the cake plus I had a scoop of vanilla ice cream to enjoy as well.
Batting a thousand. My first experience with Joey's was great. I went with a party of three and each of us found our selection to be very enjoyable. The service was fast and we were offered free tuna tacos appetizers by the waitress in celebration of our first visit.
I ordered the Beach Salad and enjoyed every bite of the mountainous pile of greens, candied pecans, goat cheese, and strawberries.
It is only a matter of time before I go back.
After waiting almost 15 mins to get served, I ordered the Lobster Grilled Cheese which turned out to taste like "grilled cheese". Our server appologosed for the long wait and did not charge for the drinks but my first time at Joey's (Burrard) was rather disappointing.
We ordered rotisserie chicken, beach salad and beef dip. All were good. The crispy mashed potatoes were delicious. The portions are very large. There was half a chicken on the plate with lots of roasted veg, way too much. We would return. The service was friendly and prompt.
Will be coming back. The food here is pretty good and the servers are very friendly and are always checking up to see how the food is. I really like the location and the decor in the restaurant. Overall, i had a really pleasant experience here and it's definitely comparable to other more well-known places like Moxies, Earls, or Cactus Club. The only downside is a small one: the washroom is really hard to find and requires walking a long way
Fantastic service, atmosphere and food. Had a few beers, New York steak dessert, wife had butter chicken and wine and we split an appetizer. Cost was only $110+tip. Mashed potatoe spring rolls, unique and delish. A must see.
I love living in Van area. The food here is pretty good.The interior is beautiful and trendy. For such great food, drinks selection and ambiance the prices are very reasonable, in spite of how fancy the decorations are, the classic beauty of the skirted wait staff and how delicious the food is. This is why there were many groups including mine. Will visit again! This is a great restaurant and they really need to look at opening more. The ambience is fantastic. Service attentive and the food mindblowing. I will arrange to be back.
Good everything. Very classy set up, perfect for dinner, after work drinks and yes the skirts are short and there is a blond in them. Perfect.
Their steaks rival name steakhouses (and I have eaten at all of them) and they are always served as I want them.
Their shades are cool and the decor a million bucks. And thats what the girls look like.

Wow - very good. Nice little gem. The food was impeccable and the service hot... I had to stop myself from asking for the waitress number outright so quickly because I was with my date.
I did think that it's a bit too expensive but it is not like I was with my wife. Hard to get a hearty meal here perhaps but thats not why we were here. Just a little taste here and there, so don't come too hungry. They do have good wines and beverages here though and the decor is classy.
I'd probably go back to try brunch.
This place has AK-47 lamps and very hot hostesses. Really, with that kind of combination, ou can't go wrong! Foods good & service is excellent.

Good ol’ Joey’s, many good times were had here. I’ve written a couple of reviews over the years on Joey’s, but thought I’d write another one on their happy hour. I don’t think I’ve gone to happy hour the whole year due to the pandemic, how much I’ve missed happy hour. Sangria and I usually go to Cactus Club, but we found out that they changed their happy hour to 2-5pm so we went to Joey’s instead.
The restaurant is your typical Milestones, Cactus, Moxie’s, Earls, etc. chain. Its servers are hot, its interior is sexy, its lighting is poor, and most importantly, its food is overpriced and really, not that good.
Overall, experience at Joey’s was enjoyable. I was very full and satisfied with my lettuce wraps even though I got made fun of for ordering it… One last thing I have to say is when I was going to the restrooms, I did not expect the restaurant to have another side to it that was almost double the space of the side we were on. They have two giant patio sections and two indoor sections, one with the long bar and one without. HUGE.
The Earth & Surf calamari ($11.49), with tempura vegetables and roasted red pepper aioli, certainly seemed to follow Joey’s glowbal inspirations. The calamari itself was prepared well: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, acceptably cut pieces.

My partner and I really enjoyed our experience dining at JOEY Bentall One. The food was delicious. I had the steak and ravioli, and my partner had the blackened chicken. We also ordered the chocolate lava cake and a mango daiquiri which were awesome as well. The only minor downsides to the night was that my steak was undercooked for my liking because I asked for medium and it was very rare in the centre, and we felt like some of the staff were a little cold towards us. In general we were very impressed by the food and will return!
We had a team dinner at JOEY and really enjoyed our experience. The food was scrumptious. I had the Chicken Lettuce Wrap and Bombay Butter Chicken along with Match Mojito. Got served with champagne 🍾.

Nice place, the back room was way to bright, way too much light.. I miss the ambiance of the old back room.. but food was ok. Drinks too, they were just ok. The host was very nice, he wished me happy birthday like 5 times! 👏🏻😎👍🏻
Food were good (except for the green curry). Staffs were nice. Everything was okay, but sometimes service was a bit slow. Waited for the bill for 20 minutes (and the staff forgot).
