I had never tried grilled sandwiches (yes, I know, to many that sounds like blasphemy!) until at this foodtruck. And man, they set the bar for great grilled cheese really damn high! Tried cheddar on sourdough and it came with pickles and chips, yay!
Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck is a food truck that offers classic homestyle gourmet grilled cheese, soup, and other yummy dishes. There truck is located on the corner of Robson St. and Howe St. just next to the art gallery. Usually when you go, there’s always a line up and wait time but goes by quite quick. After ordering the food normally takes anywhere from five to ten minutes. This is one of our favourite places to eat and there is nothing bad that we could say about their food. We usually order the very classic sourdough with cheddar, chips and a pickle on the side. This costs about 8 dollars but it’s totally worth it.
Such a yummy lunch and friendly service, would highly recommend to everyone! We ordered sour dough bread with cheddar and bacon and underneath our sandwhich was a nice surprise of potatoe chips! Wish I was in Vancouver for longer so I could visit again.
A bit overpriced for what you get. I was expecting better quality for their bread and some more flavor other than just bread and cheese (I ordered the classic). Onions could have been caramelized, but they were pretty raw and crunchy instead. Overall, the taste does not justify the massive calorie intake from that meal. Service was quick, location is great especially on a nice summer day where you can grab a spot outside the art gallery. Expect a lineup and payment is cash only!
Delicious grilled cheese, soup, and chips! Polite and efficient service. Great choices and prices. Better than all the other grilled cheese trucks by a wide margin.
Mom’s grilled cheese food truck is found downtown by the Vancouver Art Gallery. It’s always got a long line up in the summer and during good weather, but even in rainy weather I’ve seen people waiting for their grilled cheese. I love mine with sour dough, Swiss cheese and added avocado - it makes it just that extra creamy and indulgent.
They make really good grill cheese and the portion is bigger than expected. There is always huge lineup every time I go there but it is worth the wait since they do make really tasty grill cheese. I normally order the classic with the meat and cheese I like. Friendly customer service there also.
I had their special curry grilled cheese sandwich. We had to wait a long time for our food and it was just okay. We expected it to be more flavourful but it seemed just kind of basic. Chips were good and the amount of food we got was filling. It's just not worth going out of our way for a meal.
They pop up in the middle of our urban landscape, like a bright dandelion sprouting out of a sidewalk crack. That's food trucks. They're an exciting introduction to a variety of foods you haven't tried, often creative and indulgent bites - and even more often, inexpensive. And they are an easy way to support local small businesses.Since there are more than a hundred food trucks in Vancouver, there's something for every taste.I love the nostalgia of grilled cheese. Just the sound of sizzling butter takes me back to eating it in my parents' old kitchen. Elbows bent, leaning into my crispy sandwich. I vaguely recall the marbled Formica counter, a fridge the shade of a cut avocado and a yellowing linoleum floor. Plain white bread, buttered on both sides, a slice of Canadian cheese. My mom stood at the stovetop. Armed with a spatula, greased frying pan. As the clock ticked, the bread slowly crisped and a browning fragrance filled the room. My teeth slowly sank into its tender gooey interior, mouth watering.
Cheap grilled cheese sandwiches. Comes with pickles and home made chips. You can choose your type of bread and type of cheese. My favorite combo is sourdough with havarti !!
Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck has daily specials and classic grilled cheeses which you can customize. We ordered a classic grilled cheese on sourdough with havarti cheese ($8) and made it a super-deluxe with double smoked bacon and avocado (+$1.75 each). The sandwich was served to us in a paper cone with 2 spears of pickles and kettle chips at the bottom. The bread had been buttered and the cheese was ooey gooey. The avocado was creamy and the double smoked bacon added just the right amount of smokey saltiness. While perfectly delicious on its own, KitKat and I enjoyed a little bit of sriracha ketchup with our sandwich. It totally added a whole ‘nother dimension. Moreover, the spicy, tangy sauce offset the heavy richness of the cheese. KitKat and I only had half a sandwich each, but it was super filling. We didn’t even finish our pickles and chips
Grilled cheese - the epitome of comfort foods. Smoking hot, stringy, and ready to devour. Price definitely makes it a luxury snack but so worth it!
I was impressed. First that you offer gluten free foods and second that you don't treat it casually. My Granddaughter has celiacs and I was worried.
Great care was taken to keep the bread away from all other crumbs or other contamination. The staff was also friendly and fun - genuinely seemed to be concerned.
Also - whatever bread you use - and if you can tell me the brand I would greatly appreciate it - was nice! I have tried a lot of gluten free breads - I don't recommend any of them. This was a really nice sandwich - such a treat!
Really good grilled cheese, ladies were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make a sandwich for our kids while at the end of their run. Definitely would go back.
Really good, nostalgia inducing grilled cheese sandwiches. Definitely better than what I can make at home. They have classic options where you can choose from a wide variety of breads and cheeses, and also daily specials that are unique. Sandwiches come with chips and a pickle too. Great lunch spot downtown.
I've been craving grilled cheese for weeks. WEEKS I tell ya. Who else would I go to - other than Mom? (Not my mom though, because she doesn't know how to make grilled cheese!!). I had a swell time sitting under the sun and noshing on my sammie! It was so hot outside! Hey, gotta enjoy that weather while it lasts!! I swear I turned like 2 shades darker after finishing my sandwich ;)
Amazing. The first time I walked by this food truck I thought it was a bit steep for what you get. After looking online at the other reviews I knew I had to go back.
I ordered a grilled cheese on Marbled Rye with Pepper Jack cheese with tomatoes and pickles. It was the best grilled cheese I've had. Love the presentation of it. Makes it simple to eat the first bit when walking with friends. The pickles that came with it were amazing.... kindof want to know how to buy my own. The chips at the bottom of the cone was a pleasant surprise.
Yummy Mommy!. This is truly a winning combination. Quality grilled cheese served up with a good variety of Bread, Cheese and Toppings. Now that the hipster crowd has vacated the premises, you get a lot of real people enjoying good home-style food. Really hit the spot for me on a cold foggy afternoon.
1 small drawback, you seem to wait an awfully long time for your order and as a food truck this is something to be worked on as the street is not exactly the most stimulating locale. The quality of the meal and the flirty staff more than make up for it.
.... and the owner is a total MILF!
Guilty Pleasure. I go here once a week for the standard Sourdough and Cheddar. So delicious.
There are potato chips in the bottom of the wrapper.
I love this place.
Yummy!! Just like mom used to do lol. Grilled cheese sandwiches were a bit of a staple growing up so naturally I had to come here for lunch at some point. I was in a bit of a hurry so I was a tad disappointed to see a line up of about 15 people, but hey its lunch time! And a busy restaurant/diner/food truck is almost always a good sign. I had the classic on sourdough, with cheddar cheese. I added a dill pickle and double smoke bacon! I must say it was probably the best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had. It was nice to see it come with a few quarter rounds of dill pickles on the side and a dozen or so Fraser valley potato chips! Solid lunch, and a great option for the office zombies downtown as this place is only open during brunch to late lunch.
The food took forever! and it was kind of expensive for something as simple as grilled cheese but it was so good. the pickel and the chips were a nice surprise that make them different from other trucks that just give you what you ordered. oh yeah, "mom" and the girls who work for her are so friendly - even to a scary guy like me.
You've got to try this!. We had the Monday special grilled cheese - meat loaf with marinara sauce (and cheese of course! ) and it was great. VERY filling - I saved half for later! Looking forward to trying their other specials.
Say Cheese!. I must say this truck was BUSY when we walked up so considering the amount of people they were serving they did a great job at taking orders and pumping out food. That being said it did take over 30 min from the start of standing in line to actually getting the food. I had the Friday Special, rosemary, honey, goat cheese, prosciutto. Overall the special was good but I always dislike goat cheese when paired with a white bread (french bread I believe) it is combining slight flavour with no flavour so I suggest they change up the bread to something else or add some kind of compote to add flavour. My husband had the classic create your own with whole grain bread, jack cheese, turkey and bacon, he seemed to really enjoy it. The tomato soup was also good to dip your sandwich. My favourite part might have been the pickle, the rich dry goat cheese needed the salty juiciness to balance it out, I should have taken two when she offered! Of course I must mention the awesome personality on the truck, everyone seems to really enjoy what they do and it shows.
Loved it. Went here for lunch with my dad today. I have never tried any of the food trucks before. We decided on this one over the others for several reasons. One, who can screw up a grilled cheese, it was close and the truck looked fun (I know strange reason to pick food).
I have to say that the line up was very long. The time we started to wait in line to place our order to actaully getting our order was 45 minutes. This was not making me happy at all, however, the crowd was nice and talkative and it was the first sunny day of the summer for this year so we over looked it.
We sat down on the bench right by the curb to eat our LARGE AND VERY CHEESY grilled cheese (and I must say this - loved the cone style sandwich holders - so fun (will be putting that into my scrapbook)) and to my surprise - I bite into a most fab sandwich that I have had in a very long time. So worth the wait (on a nice sunny day).
really really really love the pickles and the chips on the bottom - way to tip it off.
Never had such a good grilled cheese. What a simple dish yet why does it taste so good?? I don't know what's happening in Mom's truck but there must be a secret recipe to it! Tried Friday Daily special ( Prosciutto & Honey & Goat Cheese) although a bit too heavy for me, it was simply a delicious first-try. Today I got a provolone with red onions on sourdough with a shot of tomato soup. I HATE tomato soup but with the basic mascarpone and its depth made it perfect. I really want to try the meatloaf one but that'll have to be next Monday...:(
Pretty Darn Good. Date/Time: 06/13/12 12:15 cloudy & cold – the perfect day for tomato soup & grilled cheese.
Order: Mom’s Classic and Roasted Tomato Soup.
Price: Sandwiche $7, soup “cup” $4.
Misc: Cash only. Plenty of hot sauces to choose from. GCs are easy to eat, two napkins should do it.
Review: Sandwiches were buttery & cheesy without being soggy. Bread was fresh, items were grilled perfectly and portion size decent. “GC” comes in a “cone” which also housed a few potato chips and a pickle wedge. The soup was fantastic. Nice roasted tomato flavor topped with basil mascarpone cheese. It was served in a 16 oz coffee cup with sleeve. FYI... temperature-wise it’s devil’s breath hot. Pop the lid off as soon as you get it. If not it’ll stay hot until the Leafs win the cup. For $4 the value is tremendous. By comparison a 16oz latte is also $4. Staff was very friendly. Wait time about 5 minutes.
Final thoughts: You can have a grilled cheese any time, morning, noon or night and it’ll always make you feel good. Kinda like channel surfing and finding Jerry McGuire on TBS. You’ve seen it a million times but you still have to watch it ‘cause it’s a classic. While there was nothing wrong with my lunch, it wasn’t anything truly epic either. The soup as mentioned was terrific. They did have several other sandwich options. Next time around I'll try something a little different, something my mom never made.
Amazing grilled cheese, especially the meatloaf sandwich. Favorite Vancouver food cart!
AMAZING. i would stand in the pouring rain to get a grilled cheese sandwich and cup of tomato soup from mom's truck. so good. wish it was parked outside my house...
Mom's is the Best. Outstanding food, wonderfully personal and friendly service, and owned and operated by a local Mom who really does care about feeding you and making you happy.
What more could you want from a food truck?
I have a hard time picking favourites, but I'm a sucker for the havarti, bacon, and sliced pickles on whole grain. Add a cup of the amazing chili, and you can't help but feel like you've been spoiled.
Visit again, and Mom will get to you know, she is a pistol, super fun and friendly.
Come hungry, leave with a full belly and a big smile.
Great service! Even better food! This is THE BEST grilled cheese sandwich I've ever tried. It was nice and crispy and it warns you up. This is the definition of comfort food. The fresh bread makes a huge difference and the Pop Shoppe pop compliments the sandwich perfectly. I'm definitely coming back here!
Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had.... Hands down.
This place is the diamond of quick tasty food. First you are greated by a very friendly lady who takes you order, the team seem to be working hard but the result is great, the grilled cheese are the best and the soup shots was an amazing idea, big line up at midday to 1 but woth it.
Mmm Mmm Good!. Today was my first visit to Mom's Grilled Cheese Truck.. and it certainly won't be my last!
I had a grilled cheese with bacon, onions, pepper jack and tomatoes on marble rye... Good lord it was delicious!
Very friendly environment to be in while waiting too... Very open and friendly staff that make you feel like they genuinely appreciate your business.
Can't wait to go again! ~Jessica #2
Awesome. Sweetest people. Delicious food.
Moms Grilled Cheese -- Alex's Review. Food: 10/10. This is a unique idea and tastes great. Nothing like a grilled cheese on sough dough with cheddar and bacon. I highly recommend it. I go here at least once a week and I live 2 hours away. Its worth every minute of travel.
Customer Service: 10/10 The Employees are great. They joke around and interact with you. Half of your experience is just talking to them. If you have not been yet to mom's grilled cheese truck then you are missing out.
Mom's grill cheese truck is awesome! Big portions of delicouse grill cheese. I had the special of the day which was Brie with turkey on cranberry bread. Also had a sample of homemade chillie which was harty and yummy. Come hungry! Cindy is absolutely lovely and puts homemade goodness into everything she makes!
While the price is a bit steep for grilled cheese sandwiches, we soon realized that sharing one sandwich between two people would be more than enough. Both sandwiches were large, cheesy and filling. The sandwiches are cut in half and are placed in a paper wrapping that to my surprise did not leak any oil.
As much as I hate to admit this, moms just always seem to have a knack for knowing what’s best. Even despite all those tumultuous years of dressing you in the ugliest, brightest neon hand-me-downs, and even through the times she had you sobbing at the piano, yelling at you until you played your recital piece perfectly so as not to bring dishonour to the family name – in the end, she might have been onto something. Moms also definitely know a thing or two about how to serve up a mean grilled cheese sandwich and you don’t have to go much farther than the corner of West Georgia and Howe to get your proof. The start of November brings more than just day old Halloween candies, it also means one other crucial thing – comfort food. On the mission to name the Top 3 Comfort Foods of All Time, I’ve narrowed it down and to make it as an all-star comfort food, it’s gotta have three things. It’s gotta have carbohydrates. It needs to be warm. It has to be rich and creamy. With all three of these very necessary components, there’s no other contender like the winning combination of grilled cheese and tomato soup to take the Number 3 spot. If what you’re after is a cheese griller and a cuppa, Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck is the way to go. On the perfect crisp fall day with the sun shining strong, the cheese gods had my back today. Make sure you click the video above to get a glimpse of this in action! Once you’ve found your way to the truck, the process is simple: Pick Your Bread Pick Your Cheese Pick your Extras Today was the day for Marbled Rye, Harvarti , and Dill Pickles . If you’re a pickle lover, for the love of dill listen up because you’re gonna want write this down. My friends, ask mom to slice and sprinkle the pickle throughout the sandwich and you are in for a real treat. But what happens when the soup special is Roasted Tomato with Mozzarella and the sandwich of the day is Ham and Cheddar Cheese on Sourdough ? You get one of each of course. Th

My husband created his own sandwich at Mom's Grilled Cheese. This scrumptious sandwich was sourdough bread, turkey, harvarti cheese and bacon. They do have their own sandwiches or dessert sandwiches too. This truck and Tacofino had the longest lines when we were there. We waited about an hour for this sandwich but it was worth it. The bread is amazing, they are not stingy with the cheese at all and the pickle is a great touch.
How can one manage to sell a grilled cheese sandwich for $9.75 and still be probably one of the most popular food trucks in Downtown?!? Let’s find out! I’ve past by Mom’s Grilled Cheese numerous times (right beside TacoFino ) and wondered why would anyone pay $10 for such a simple food we can make at home? But since we’ve started this blog, I couldn’t resist anymore as I’m a huge lover of cheese!! I just had to try one…mmMmm..it puts a smile on my face just thinking about it! I’ve ordered the Mom’s Daily Specials – The Jackson 3 – A triple threat… three slices of sourdough with brie, boursin, and gruyere – $9.75 after tax. The sourdough was crispy on the outside, but slightly too oily. The 3 cheeses were warm, soft, and melted evenly with each other fully throughout the sandwich. This grilled cheese is the best I’ve ever had!~ It was so satisfying and filling. I tasted a bit of heaven!! Look at those melted cheeses…..Don’t you just want one right now? Oh remember to eat it right away w
Who's your Mommy?~ Nothing quite like taking a stroll down town, past the Art Gallery on a sunny day. Walking and people watching, along with the hundred other pedestrians taking advantage of the 23 degree weather. And suddenly you are filled with an over whelming desire to eat. The smells and sounds of the busy lunch hour, food truck traffic attracts your attention. Here Vancouverites are able to combine good food with the enjoyment of the sun's rays against their faces. We may not be Portland, known for their food trucks, but we in Vancouver have some pretty good ones to boast about. One of my favorites is "Mom's Grilled Cheese". You recognize this food truck from its nostalgic diner feeling, recreated in their mural. Checkers done in white and teal, behind a friendly female face offering up a delicious looking double decker cheese sandwich, topped with a juicy pickle. This truck takes you back to your childhood. Cold days, your mom whips up a bowl of Campbell's tangy tomato soup a
Seeing so many people rave about this place in the last year, I knew I had to give this place a try. It has been a year since I’ve heard of this famous food truck. I don’t know why it took me this long to come try this out, I have school downtown anyways. When we got there during lunch hour, they had a big rush. There were probably 15-18 people standing there waiting. It only took 15 minutes for our order so it wasn’t too bad. There was 4 people in the truck and can I just mention how SWEET it was for Cindy (the owner and ‘Mom’) to address each customer and ask them how they were doing and thanked them for waiting. She was busy answering calls and making sandwiches, but she didn’t cheap out on anything. She gave it her 100%. I really liked watching how they operated. Not only that, but when the sandwich was a little burnt, she would take the time to scrap it off to make sure her customer receive the best. I already saw the menu online before heading there and I didn’t want to get the
Nothing’s more satisfying than some warm, oozing grilled cheese…it’s so satisfying, it should be considered a drug lol. Where else to get grilled cheese than at one of the best joints in town, Mom’s! I ordered the daily special; since it was Tuesday, it was the “Italian Job” (9.75). The bread was very freshly crunchy and had a distinct garlicky taste due to the sandwich being grilled in garlic butter; it was really yummy, almost like eating garlic bread itself! The bread, itself, also had a very olive oily flavour to it (I guess that’s expected since it lists it having that and Rosemary in the bread LOL). The Boccocini was just so well melted throughout…I can’t explain it in words. The cheese, mixed with the tomatoes reminded me almost of a Greek Salad but instead of feta, it was melted boccini all the way through. The chips that came with it were well seasoned themselves, and bonus, they’re local!
The sourdough bread was well buttered and crispy while the bacon made the sandwich salty. They did not skimp on the cheese at all and it was well melted throughout the sandwich. In fact, I almost felt like I overdosed on cheese after and I was super full afterwards.
If you’re at all familiar with the food scene in Vancouver, you’re probably aware that this post is long overdue, since the food cart festival is a summer event. (And obviously for good reason, what with all the rain we get). I actually visited the festival in September with Sam and Pickles, when all of us had returned from our summer travels, so this post is actually only four months in the making. What with school and work and life in general, it can be a bit difficult to keep on top of things…that’s my excuse, anyways. Despite the burgeoning food cart scene in Vancouver, I often find it difficult to seek out the specific ones that catch my interest. Many of them are open for a limited time during the day, or only at a specific location that is out of the way of my usual commute. Well, thank goodness for the food cart festival, then, which conveniently gathers Vancouver’s most popular food carts in one area so that folks like me can get to pig out to our hearts’ content. In 2013, the
... the experience and food is one of a kind, so If you are by any chance near Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson during lunch time, go check them out! It's one of the many food trucks that's worth trying!

Decided to head downtown to try out Mom's Grilled Cheese ! I have heard such great things about them, and who can resist grilled cheese sandwiches… I can just never get them cooked perfectly at home! Did a little google mapping, and realized that it was so close to Pacific Center! I guess I just never walk on that side of the street normally! We approached the truck with a lot of people surrounding it waiting for their food. Apparently, they are only open on weekdays during lunch hours. Steph and I shared a Mom's Classic , where we got to choose our choice of bread and cheese. We chose the Marbled Rye w
I had heard that their roasted tomato soup was amazing and I needed to try it. Normally I'm not crazy about tomato soup but this soup is truly delicious. I just ordered a shot of it for a $1 to try and I wish I got the big one. It's topped with a basil mascarpone which makes it super creamy.
I found that everyone walking past this truck took a double take because the truck was pretty flashy with its sleek design and cool branding. They close at 3pm and I was lucky enough to be their last order of the day! The truck was operated by three people, one of them being the owner, Cindy Hamilton.
To our surprise, Mom is a real person! After shouting the first name of a customer, she would eagerly hand the sandwich to them. All sandwiches come with Hardbite potato chips and half (or one-quarter?) of a pickle. I opted for the daily special for Mondays is mom's meatloaf ($8.50), which has a slice of homemade meatloaf, m
The Hot Angie was massively huge and stuffed with hot capicola, peppers, and havarti on sourdough bread and served along with pickles and Hardbite chips. This was a really good grilled cheese sandwich but it was also quite filling.
It's rare that both Greeny and I would be at downtown during weekday mornings. And it's this rare opportunity that we've decided to check out some of the latest food trucks around town. After doing a bit of digging, the name "Mom's Grilled Cheese" kept coming up. That's when I knew it's the place to check out. It's certainly a popular truck located on Howe right by the Vancouver Art Gallery. Along with Mom's Grilled Cheese, you can also find Tacofino and Pig on the Street at the same spot. Probably because of the nice weather and being a Friday, all of the trucks have a long lineup. It was a good time to decide what we wanted to order during line up.
The street food scene in Vancouver is here to stay and that's something to get excited about. What's better than sitting on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery on a sunny day, eating your favourite street treat. One of those treats is being provided by Mom's Grilled Cheese Truck . The name says it all. Grilled cheese sandwiches for all. Mom is actually Cindy Hamilton, a veteran of the food industry with over 20 years experience. And she makes one MEAN grilled cheese. What makes their sandwiches so delectable? I could ex-peculate that it's their artisan bread made fresh everyday, or their quality choice of cheeses and toppings. I could say that it's their personalized service and attention to detail, but the truth is simpler than that. They're friking good. The classic grilled cheese will set you back $5.50. You start with your choice of bread: white, sour dough, multi grain or marble rye. Moving on you choose your cheese: cheddar, havarti, pepper jack or provolone. For an extra char
Mom's Grilled Cheese Truck has been catching A LOT of buzz since it just opened a week or so ago! They specialize in GRILLED CHEESE! Nothing gets more delicious than that. Remember when you were a kid, grilled cheese was that ooey gooey snack that you craved so much? When I arrived a little past noon, the line up was HUGE! It spread at least to that lamp post! Even it was a cold day, the people faced the cold to get grilled cheese! We actually waited 30 mins before we got our food. It was ok considering there were SO many people in front of us. Best to come with a friend to wait out the line. OR just go early or late to avoid the long line ups. Then menu has a few specialities, build-it-yourself type of options, dessert, sides and drinks. Their desserts looks so good as well! The Fat Elvis has peanut butter and banana on grilled white bread. Even though the specialties are limited, you have endless combinations with the sandwich you want to build. Sometimes they even have daily special
Grilled cheese is close to my heart. I always look for it on restaurant menus, I constantly crave it and of course I make it at home as much as possible. There's a scene from Lost that I've always remembered, when Jack was captured by the Others and locked up for days. Juliet brings him a grilled cheese sandwich to get him to talk. He refused the sandwich, I'm not sure how, it looked so deliciously tempting, with the melted cheese oozing out the sides and the grilled bread cut diagonally (I loved diagonally-cut sandwiches!). Every time I watch that episode, I crave grilled cheese and I watch that episode a lot. They offer a "classic" sandwich where you can choose your bread and cheese type. You can also choose gluten free bread or vegan cheese. That is pretty cool.
There is something homey, hearty about grilled cheese sandwiches. And clearly Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck has delivered some hearty and satisfying grilled cheese sandwiches. It’s probably not something you eat everyday, but I can definitely see myself go back from time to time for a grilled cheese sandwich. And I’d be OK to always get the Mom’s Meatloaf Sandwich. By this point, everything was getting really busy. We visited Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck, and wow was this a wait. We were probably only the 7-8 in line to order, and that took about 15 minutes. But after that we had to wait about 45 minutes to get our sandwich. I feel bad for the other people, because when we were waiting for the food, the length of the line probably tripled! I’m assuming they waited close to 2 hours to get their food. Anyway, on this day, they had some specials, but we decided to go for havarti with bacon. Damn was this thing cheesy and buttery, the way I like it. It was very crisp, and would go really well with tomato soup (which they also sell!). It was served with some chips which got a bit soggy, but I still enjoyed it. It definitely put us over the top, and got really full.
I thought the grilled cheese sandwich was really tasty and turned out to be very filling. I wasn’t a huge fan of the chips, which were a little on the greasy side for me but the pickle was really tasty and also helped to cut some of the heaviness from my sandwich.
