Review Red Robin Gourmet Burgers - Vancouver

Simply an bad experience. The place is dirty and they are not very service oriented! We arrived and got escorted to a cleaned table that seats and table were soaking wet still from being wiped down. Then still lying on floor and under table were dirty old napkins and used masks. So gross. But they just kept walking over then. Then as we get our water they advise us at 845pm that they close at 9pm and last calls right away so we had to order starters, main and dessert all at once and it would come all at once. Food was mediocre! Dessert cold fudge cookie 🍪 with hardly any fudge was terrible and BEWARE anything you substitute or order extra will be charged. Almost $11 of little extra charges appeared on bill. Not a great evening for us and we won’t be back!!!

Had never been to a Red Robin before. But just happened to be walking by. We didn't have a lot of time for lunch and explained that to the staff and they were super helpful and had our food our really fast. Great second floor restaurant looking out into a nice shopping district of Vancouver. Oh and the food??? Amazing the burgers were damn good. And huge!! Will go back for sure some time. Thank you

Visited Mar 2, 2022 The restaurant was empty when we arrived however it started to get busy afterwards. The food was delicious, they had unlimited refills on select sides which made it appealing to eat. Very much a old school diner style. It was a unique experience. Our server was thorough and even tried to make a joke with us. The seats weren’t the greatest as I could feel the person behind me kept moving making it uncomfortable for myself. The portion size was good and decently priced. The washroom was not the greatest it lacked upkeep more then just a cleaning. Overall 3/5 rating

Got a couple drinks and drinks. Customer service was excellent, they made us feel welcomed at the door. The view from the dining room is great, we were able to see the busy streets of Thurlow and Robson at night!

The good: Food and drinks are good. Portions are big. The onion rings tower is great The waitress was awsome The bad: The light bulb over the table was not working. The ugly: The restaurant has an overpowering funny smell like some kind of cleaning solution drying on old fealthy cloths . The carpeting looked old, possibly contributing to the smell.

Reds is reds. Ive worked one out if van before so safe to say I love their food but I also know they're extensive 5 days if training. I don't think my server really followed training lol. I finished telling him what burger I wanted and he just left without asking about sides and I didn't specify which if the like 6+ sides. I wanted so I ended up with their classic fries. Also not very friendly just that greatest me but great one when I was leaving. And I hadn't been to red in 6 months b that was a different location, but no one told me u had to scan the menu so sat there for a few minutes before I realized myself. I also mentioned how I had a coupon through the rewards program a couple times for him to never ask for my rewards number/give me my discount. I just wanted to treat myself to a nicer lunch between classes but left feeling a little underwhelmed by the experience compared to the other 2 I worked/had been serves at in the past. Other than that same good food as always just no the best experience esp when you know how much work goes into training a serve on how to treat customer/what to di at every table.

Came here and ordered Red's Bold Boneless Wings - Whiskey River BBQ with Crispy onion straws. It didn't look very appealing when it came out and the wings were not good at all. The chicken was really dry and it came served with chips that looked like were served from a packet but then cooked again. I'm glad I got this as part of a promotion because I definitely would not pay $16 for this.

This restaurant is amazing. The fries are absolutely delicious. And the burgers as well. The ambience is nice and the staff is extremely friendly. 😊 Greetings from Switzerland

I have not been to the downtown Red Robin location for years! I used to come here all the time many years ago. It felt like a blast to the past being back here, nothing has changed! Strawberry lemonade: A must when going to Red Robin’s! Their strawberry lemonade is a sugary delight.

3.2/5 burger comes with a salad/ fries on side. It is not a typical take-out place, and the service of ordering to-go is quite slow( you need to place the order at the bar). Food, burger: sautéed mushroom (good), egg (too dry), overall, average plus. Caesar salad: good. Onion ring: 3 times larger than a regular onion ring, the taste is so plain.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers is a chain restaurant best known for their gourmet burgers. This one is located on Thurlow and Robson Street in Vancouver BC.

If you are craving for burgers, this is a place for you. 🍔 It is not easy to find good value on Robson Street at a good price. 👍 I must admit I like their bottomless hop-salt fries, salads, and pops. An occasional time to treat myself with fries. 🍟
✏️✏️
Food: 🍽🍽🍽🍽Should Try!
Service: 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳
Kids: 👶👶👶👶👶 Good for kids
(has kid's menu and activity sheet; kid's special on Wednesday)
Price: 💲💲$30-$50 for two (dinner)
Presentation: 📷📷
Parking: Street Parking
Explore the menu: Prime Chophouse Burger, Teriyaki Chicken Burger
Tips:
📝get a bottomless drink if you are staying for a long period of time
📝customize your burger
📝wrap your burger in fresh lettuce for no extra charges
Would I Return: Yes

This is a chain restaurant best known for their gourmet burgers. Although there used to be several locations in Vancouver, many of them have closed and there's currently only one remaining on Robson. They offer a free burger that you can redeem during the entire month of your birthday (as long as you sign up for their rewards program), and I had the opportunity to redeem that award that week. You have the option of chosing from about a dozen types of burgers, all of which comes with bottomless steak fries (you can pick other sides as well). I had their Royal Red Robin burger, as well as their Mountain High Mudd Pie. The food was quite good, and thanks to my birthday rewards as well as a promotion that they're currently running, my bill came to just a total of $6. The service was also very good: the server that I had was friendly and professional, and the food came quite quickly. I seriously recommend checking this place out, especially if you sign up for their rewards program.
Royal Red Robin Burger (free for Birthday, $12.99 regular):
4/5
This burger came with a beef patty, bacon, fried egg, cheese and mayo. I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this burger. The patty was quite juicy while the bacon, cheese and mayo provided great flavour. The fried egg was served with a runny yolk and of course, being the clumsy idiot that I am, I ended up spilling the yolk all over my lap on my first bite. The bun was soft and fluffy; I do wish that they could have toasted them though. The burgers are served with a side of steak fries (you can also get salad or upgrade to onion rings, yam fries etc). I did not get to eat much of the fries, however, as I had to save room for the mudd pie.
Mountain High Mudd Pie (currently $6, $7.99 regular):
3.5/5
This consisted of a large pile of chocolate ice cream, a layer of fudge, vanilla ice cream, a base of crushed oreo cookies and was topped by whipped cream and served with a drizzle of chocolate and caramel sauce. This was essentially like one of the ice cream cakes from DQ, and like those cakes, my favourite component was the layer of fudge in the middle. I did find the ice cream to be a bit icy, but still tasty. I quite enjoyed the chocolate and caramel sauces; I would have preferred if they had drizzled it over the actual cake though and instead of on the plate as it a bit hard to eat. Although not really a "mountain" it was quite a big portion, and probably shareable (of course, being the pig that I am, I ate the entire slice myself). Normally, this cake is goes for $7.99, but it appears that they are currently on special for $6.

After purchasing an amazing jacket at New Balance Store(cheap plug)came here for lunch i ordered the French Onion Soup its very tasty and so cheesy fit for a mouse then came the lettuce wrapped Black & Bleu Burger which was very saucy and messy and?. The food was a 5/5 and my waitress Tyler in training was friendly, efficient and extremely cute(hope that doesn't offend anyone) i would highly recommend this location

I have been to Red Robin twice. The first visit was last winter and my overall experience was not bad except for the chairs because there were a lot of dust and crumbs in the fold of the seats. My second visit with three of my friends was last week during lunch time. Unfortunately, the unpleasantness began with upon entering the Restaurant. As soon as the host saw us coming in, his face turned bad. It seemed he didn’t want to greet us, than he got us a table all the while forcing a smile. The restaurant wasn’t busy until that time and there were still a lot of empty seats. Actually, the food, the atmosphere and service were good! I liked the bottomless fries. In spite of those things, I felt uncomfortable because of the original greeting! No matter how delicious the food is, the first impression of the restaurant to the guest is as important as the food. I hope this disappointing part will result in an improvement sooner rather than later.

Endless fries when you order a burger.

Great interior of the diner/restaurant/sports bar.

Chicken Cobb salad came in a huge bowl, fair to say it was more than enough.

Beef burgers pretty standard & good. But the bottomless fries are the greatest addition!

My recommendation- get a burger or wrap or sandwich, as long as you can take full advantage of the bottomless fries!

I LOVE red robin for many reasons. They have a wide selection of items so you're definitely going to find something that sounds appetizing.
They offer bottomless fries which is always great.
Their burgers are DELICIOUS! I always try a different one when I go and it's a great place to bring friends and family.
Their salted caramel milkshake blew my mind.
Their onion rings appetizer is really great for sharing and so are their Chinese ribs (I think that's what they were called).
If you visit red robin a lot make sure to sign up for their loyalty program to take advantage of their great offers 😊

I have gone to Red Robin for dinner with my friends and coworkers couple times. We had dinners in different locations everytime but mostly were the downtown branch. It was always super busy and had to wait for a table. I remembered we had to wait about one hour to get a table one time. So, you should go there early before the lunch/dinner time. Once we sat down, service was pretty good and fast. The restaurant is large and has lots of space inside. Once we sat down, service was pretty good and fast. The menu looks very fancy and easier to order food by looking at the colorful image on the menu. The food came very fast. They were fresh and tasty with large portions. Prices are reasonable. Their Burgers were my favorite and they were very juicy. The French fries were great too. You can free fill anytime you want.Very enjoy my dinner at Red Robin.

The menu is mouthwatering. However, it sheer size makes ordering a burger as complicated as helping your girlfriend pick the right shade of nail polish, and as enjoyable as meeting your mother-in-law for tea. Burgers seem to come in three tiers and it's not immediately clear what all this means to your ravenous self and your food-yearning belly. Menu draftsmen should realize that man's thinking is impaired in two situations: feeling hungry and feeling hungry (minus the suffix). The pictures cause an eye-gasm. But the food in reality does not live up to its promise, a lesson (if mommy did her job right) you must have learnt by now.

There are a lot of great aspects in regards to this restaurant. It's location and appeal, customer service, decent serving time and of course the bottomless fries. In saying this, I did not particularly like the burger that I had which was the Big Sky. The patty was charred black on top and it was very dry. The sauce did not help much in mending the taste for its blandness and lacking of flavour. The lettuce was chewy and didn't seem fresh. Overall a good restaurant which was let down by the taste of the burger.

The place to eat a burger and drown yourself with bottomless fries. Delicious Royal Red Robin Burger! Add an extra patty for that extra beefy taste. Satisfied my burger needs. Waiter tried to avoid coming to the table for the bottomless fries refills, but you can't hide from me. I'll eat my share of all you can eat fries.

I’m a big fan of Red Robin because of its bottomless fries and bottomless freckled lemonade. Join the Royalty Program and you can get a free birthday burger. The only burger I'm not particularly fond of is the Black & Bleu...it's because I learned I don't like bleu cheese. Fish and chips, popcorn shrimp and chips, and the fajitas are equally well-liked.

There was a time, many moons ago, when Red Robin dominated the casual burger establishment in Vancouver… mainly because there was no competition. Since then, many of the Red Robin franchises in the Lower Mainland have shut down while newer, fresher, restaurants have taken their place. What they’re known for is their interesting lineup of burgers. And, on the second floor of Robson and Thurlow (across from Joe Fortes) you can still find a Red Robin location serving up the same burgers that we used to eat 20 years ago.

I have gone here a few times and I have always had a good experience. The popcorn shrimp and mushroom burger are my personal favourites. However, I think their fries are a little too thick. I recommend getting the onion rings instead. This place is great to go to with friends or family as it has a lovely atmosphere and great service.

Economical option in downtown that serves decent burgers. If you are going for the bottomless fries, then expect greasy and soggy fries on the refills.

Pictured: Black n bleu burger stuffed with sauteed mushrooms, caramelised onions, and blue cheese inside a lettuce wrap and steamed broccoli side (bottomless, like their fries!). Haven’t been to Red Robin in years until recently… Who knew you could incorporate so much veggies at Red Robin? Now there are so many ways to customize their menu items to suit your dietary restrictions and reduce your calorie intake. The restaurant on Robson is great, because it’s upstairs and has wrap around windows, making it very bright. Don’t forget to order their signature strawberry lemonade. I love eating all the strawberry chunks and getting refills just to have some more! It’s a dessert and drink in one!

I'm not usually a Burger person but their chicken teriyaki Burger was the best Burger I've had in a longg time. I got the fries substituted with bottomless yam fries and they were the perfect texture with an amazing chipotle dip to go with it as well. The burger itself was amazing with the teriyaki sauce dripping as I bite into the juicy and tender chicken... mmm

Thumbs 👍🏻 Our waitress was amazing quick & helpful the bartender was great to 👌🏻 I did not like one of my drinks so they made me a new one 🙂 with no problems.
The starter we had was the Mozza Sticks with a Red Pepper Chili dip the dip surprised me it was different but really tasty 😋 We had drinks The Blue Hawaiian keep those suckers coming one sip and I thought I was back in the Dominican ☀️🤗 the herb & garlic fries were great in flavour and crispy , also bottomless fries !!! Who does this RR does that's who 😮

Thumbs 👎🏻 Hard to find parking ..The Sautéed Mushroom burger was pretty bland needed some kind of something on the bun besides the garlic flavour from the mushrooms made for a dry burger 😕 Next up the Banzai Burger again even with the teriyaki on it this was a bland burger & the pineapple on it was over cooked and dry😕 The Caesar salad was missing dressing or could had used more ..... Very bland too

Fingers out 🤘🏻 With RR we seemed to think we got what we paid for and it was cheap there , would we go back 🤔 ..... Of course those are not the only thing on the menu 🙃 Cheers from The Trusty Island Critic 😉

The server did not smile or greet us in a friendly way. The atmosphere in the restaurant was hostile and cold. Additionally, the burgers patties were thinner than the patties at McDonald's. I recommend doing your research and go to a less dingier restaurant that's less overpriced.

I had a bad experience in this restaurant the server was unfriendly, he never refill the water, he attend another table more than us. the quality of meals its not good, the menu said something and you get another thing completely different, this place really its a mess. its not really clean as another places, you always feel in a Rush.

I would not normally have gone back yet again to Red Robin, except it was my friend's birthday and she had a coupon. Which didn't say anything about not working with their Angus Beef burgers, so fortunately having experienced that limitation, I was able to avoid disaster by having her double-check with the server.

Coming to Red Robin's is always a treat. Nothing stellar, but a good sense of nostalgia.

We started off sharing the onion ring tower and an order of the cheese sticks. The cheese sticks featured pieces of jalapeno peppers, adding a nice kick. Not a big fan of the plum sauce they paired with though!

Always make sure you order or share a milkshake when you're here! This time I ordered the "Nananana Moomoo" milkshake. I honestly couldn't say it with a straight face while ordering it, but it definitely didn't disappoint! Although slightly heavy on the banana syrup, but it wasn't too heavy with my meal.

I ordered the gardenburger with garlic fries as my main. I was actually impressed by how full of flavor the veggie burger patty was! I've been to countless burger joints where veggie burgers taste like a soulless being. I was very happy with the texture and spices used!

Definitely not a place where I'd come often, but was nice to just spoil myself with a fat burger once in a while!

Came twice not too recently, once for a friend's birthday and one for me and my friend's birthday (at the same time).

Ordered the simply grilled beef burger the first visit and it was very plain. Birthday friend got the banzai (her favourite) and was pleased with it. Bottomless fries were given although they took away the red basket and just had a plate full of fries.

Second time, me and my friend have birthdays within the same two weeks so we redeemed our coupon together. They were very nice about us having a free meal and even offered ice cream sundaes. Ordered the Stampede Burger (not too spicy even with chipotle sauce = good) and California Chicken (loved the guacamole). We each split half and then shared a sundae.

Always great at red robin. You can never really go wrong. Perfect patio for a Sunday burger and beer. Love that they have recent ally switched their taps from Molson to labbats as well. Meaning cheap pints of bud . Always a good time and a good price.

Me and my partner Ordered 2 burgers and popcorn shrimp and drinks
The shrimp was very nice , a light crunchy batter with delicious sauces. Drinks we're great.
The burgers went very good, my burger looked and tasted like it was from Burger King, I don't like to go to restaurants to get that type of bun. The yam fries were cold. My partners burger was a frozen bun that tasted quite dry. I would only go back for drinks

I went there for my birthday dinner with my mother and sister. I live just a couple of blocks away, and while I absolutely love their teriyaki chicken burger, I only go there 2-3 times a year for the same reason- bad food preparation. This time actually, it was even a little worse.I almost always order the teriyaki chicken burger, and always ask for the fries crispy. And it doesn't matter how many times I ask for them that way, they NEVER come that way, and I have to send them back at least once, maybe twice.People might think that's a little nit picky as far as a complaint, but that's how I like them. The fact that they can be made properly the second time around just says to me that the kitchen staff doesn't give a crap the first time.Well, for my birthday dinner, same thing. So I sent them back. The fries were undercooked, yet they warmed the hamburger bun to within an inch of it's life. The bun was actually crunchy, not the soft warm bun it almost always is.The waitress came back a few mins later with my fries (after I had finished my burger) and told me that the kitchen staff just made a second batch of fries exactly the same way as the fist one, and that she had to stand there and actually FORCE them to cook them the way I had asked.Wow. Not just accidentally under-cooking them, but actual refusal to do it until they were forced to.That's sure an insight into that restaurant's desire to please a patron.I'm very unsure if I will ever go here again. The longer the place is there it just consistently drops as far as quality goes.

This place was better a few years back. I used to visit the Station Square location so Red Robin is a nostalgic place for me. They don't wrap the burgers in baskets or put the fries in cute little baskets either. I ordered a Whiskey River BBQ Burger, and it seemed very average, compared to how it sounded in the menu.

I think one of my biggest problems was how it was presented. It was a long white plate, and with around 10 steak fries. I know that they are bottomless fries, but why give so little? They looked like they were just thrown onto the plate in a very unpleasant manner.

The service was decent at least. I probably wouldn't come in a large group again.
Simon
If you sign up for Red Robin's eClub, you get a two-week window to enjoy a free Gourmet Burger. The fine print says "Participating Locations Only", and fortunately the Robson Street location participates. As soon as you walk in, there's a banner that says so. What is not included are customized burgers, non-burgers (e.g., their sandwiches), and their Angus Beef "Red Robin's Finest" burgers.

I can't stop coming back here. I'm not exactly a huge fan of their burgers but that's probably because I don't like them in general. My favourite dish here would be the Mac and cheese! I'd also recommend getting the tower of onion rings! Along with great food, the service is also really friendly.

Red Robin in Robson St Vancouver BC. I and my wife normally goes to this Red robin , tonite I order a Canadian draft Molson before my Berger ,
After 10 minutes they brought my Berger without any beer which is served normally before dinner .
I asked the waiter what happen to my beer , after another 5 minutes they brought me a Canadian in bottle , I asked what happen with draft , they said we are out of it , I said why you did not tell me in first place , they only said sorry , which is very wired .
Normally you want to have the beer before dinner , and I have right to know it before they bring my Berger .
I am so sorry for this service , so I am not going in this branch any more
Thanks
Moji Zanganeh
2609 -1239 west Georgia St Vancouver BC
Cell 778 319 6725

*drum roll* Ladies and Gentlemen, please check out, the 23 yrs old ME~ OK. I know, I look as good as I did yesterday ;) lol. Anyways, I decided to ditch school (aka skip) for my birthday. We have lecture capture, and at this point, it doesn't matter if I go to class or not- I either barely fails or fail. I hope I don't fail, though hahaha. Will just cram later. Have fun now! The day started around 10am - I head to Denny's to get my favourite breakfast (the fact that it's free makes it so much better). IHOP free breakfast coming up on Friday ;). My bf was with me, so we were able to have a quiet, sunny morning to ourselves. :P Taste ★★★☆☆ Portion ★★★★☆ Service ★★★☆☆ Cost $$ Recommended for a full decent western breakfast. This location is where I've spent my last birthday (when I was on a trip to get all the bday freebies). The food has always been pretty decent. The service is always friendly. The location is easy to get to with public transit. The menu items Denny's offer are all quite savoury, lots of choices, for everyone's liking. My mom LOVES their nachos. I found it to have too much onions, which, btw, I don't like when not completely cooked ;P. Steak Omlette, think it's called the Meat Lover's Omlette. It wa

Went for a late dinner as a family of 6 and it was great. Shannon our waitress was very personable and on top of it. This location is the best I've seen so far being up off the street with a great view. I liked it and so will you.

Inconsiderate, Dirty, Uncooked. My friend reserved space for a party for his birthday a week in advance.
What made this the worst dining experience of my life:
1)We had to wait 40 min outside in -3 degree weather before we were seated.
2)They tried to compensate by giving us complementary onion ring towers but left all the menus sprawled across the table.
3) The manager had absolutely no respect for the party or his waitress that had to serve 32 of us with NO help whatsoever.
4)It took another 40 min to take our order and be served.
5)My chicken burger had so much salt in it I could barely eat it.
6)One of my friend's burger was RAW, my other friend's burger did not come for so long they gave it to him for free.
7) They did NOT clear the table after we ate so dishes were littering the entire table.
8) The seats were greasy
9) They did not heat the restaurant so my friends and I had to wear our jackets inside
I will not be going back there EVER. There was no redeeming quality except the the ever so patient, mistreated waitress.

Fantastic food!. It was so nice, friendly service, the burgers were excellent.
So I can't complain! In addition, I like fries that was also delicious and unlimited, that's also good. Our waitress was kind, she explained about some menu items.I could enjoy the burger I had here,it was juicy and so big!
Definitely I'll go there this weekend.

Great prices ! ($8 for huge popcorn shrimp, $12 for chicken burger and fries) and who can complain about unlimited fries ! Amazing.

Best red robin. Amazing location, arguably the best DT intersection for action & shopping. Thanks goodness that TGIF closed here years ago lol.

The championship burger for me is the Banzai burger--that pineapple sure is something. Maybe the every 3rd time I may switch to the Shrooms or Whiskey bbq burger.

but i don't care for the fries, just not my thing w/ these wedges. Guess i just prefer the saltiness of McDick's lol.

Great corner view, & plenty of seating, rarely have to wait long.

Fish and chips. Decent food, decent price, i ordered the fish and chips and it was the same quality as wings. and it was cheaper by 1 dollar.

Quick service, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Had the shroom burger with bacon and poutine fries. Burger was one of the best i ever had at a chain restaurant but the gravy for the poutine was not that great. 8 out of 10

I have never had such exceptional service from a red robins in my life, my server KRISTIN was super attentive, upbeat and brought fries and sauce before we asked.Even though KRISTIN was swamped with so many tables, she was still able to give all the tables an excellent service, I was glad to tip and wished I had more change in my pocket to tip. Great views, food , decor and above all top notch service!!!

Service was okay; though food was served quickly it wasn't exactly hot. I tried the new Jim Bean burger. Sauce was nice and was sweet, as advertised. However, the bun was a little too much for this relatively sparse burger. Also, the patty was dry, fries nearly cold and under seasoned.

JimBim. Red Robin had a great fun and festive décor, The food and service was more then what I expected from a
burger join. The cleanliness, and the quality of their products, really helped the
experience prosper for the duration of my dining. The service wasn't extremely fast,
nor was it slow, it remained balanced and paced, which kept me at ease knowing that
I wasn't going to receive my main meal during my appetizer. The money factor was
really fair; I did not feel like I was being over charge, yet, getting what I paid for.
I would like to recommend to you bourbon lovers to give the Jimbim Bourbon burger,
with sweet onions, and their stake fries.

Consistently slow service. The food's typical of Red Robin, but the waitstaff seem unable to manage their time.

I like red robin!!. I've been there 1 month ago. I like there. I decided, I will go there once a month or once a 2weeks. I like to eat hamburger and fries also onion rings I always prefer those foods cause tastes are delicious. Atmosphere is really good, serving too.I think foods price a little bit expensive but its not problem thats oke:))

Great Food!. I love the atmosphere here because its' so casual and all the servers are very nice. I came here on an EXTREMELY busy day but even then, the waiter was very nice. I got the mint brownie milkshake, which was heavenly. Their food is all very standard, nothing too out of the ordinary. Overall, I would really recommend this place
Jade
Great burgers and great service!. The service is great. The servers are so friendly and always come at the right time with a refill or bottomless fries. Burgers are great, always done just the way I like it.

It's Red Robin. I'm not a big fan of the food but I do come here quite often anyway. The staff is super friendly which makes up for them not being perfect. I love the Hawaiian hearthrob smoothie. This red robin is nice because it has a large area where you can dine with your stroller and your friend's stroller and your bags, etc. Great location with a nice view of Robson.

Robinhood. You can't go wrong with this place if you love burgers. I enjoyed eating at this downtown location.

Good and Greasy. This is the type of place you go for a casual night out when you're not watching your weight. Huge portions and plenty of comfort food... You will leave absolutely stuffed! Great place to watch hockey or enjoy a margarita the size of your head!

I cannot tell you how amazing the service was. Among the most friendly, bubbly and attentive staff I've ever come across.

Onion Ring lovers' heaven. For onion ring lovers out there, order their onion ring tower plus a pitcher of beer, it is heaven, trust me. But be sure to get sick of onion rings for the next little while! ^^

Consistently good. One of my favorite burgers in town is the RR Royal burger. Mega-yum! The service is consistently friendly and the draught beer menu has finally expanded enough to keep all of my golf pals happy when we show up for lunch after a round.
Elaine
Bottomless Drinks FTW. I love going to Red Robin for their bottomless Freckled Lemonade! It's one of my favourite drinks and I have drank up to four glasses once!
Mike
I was disappointed at the service and quality of the food this time around. In the past few years it has gone downhill which is rather unfortunate to see! Appitizers are overpriced for what you get, and the burgers were mediocre. However, the beverages, adult and non alcoholic, were fantastic; too bad that our appitizer came first and this was on a slow night.
Bruss
GOOD BURGERS...GREAT VALUE Food was good and the service fast and friendly, even at lunch during the Olympics.
BMW MAN
Low class. This is without a doubt the worst diner chain in the Lower Mainland. The staff is inattentive on average, and that's being genourous. They are also not cute like other chains so why should I tip?

The food is bad to good, depending on who is running the kitchen I guess, but over priced for what really is a glorified burger joint. The kids and toddlers are way to loud for casual dinning.

Not worth it. I can get better hamburger for less at White Spot or fat Burger. The prices have gone up and it's mostly construction workers at noon drinking La Batt crap

Robins Eye View. I love the fact that this restaurant is a family restaurant with little or no families in it. It's quiet and a great place to enjoy a classic Red Robin burger with bottomless fries and a bevy. I also like the fact that this place is above the Starbucks, giving you a window view down to the Starbucks across the street and a great opportunity to pass time people watching.

Very good.. I like. Great burgers and salads. The freckled lemonade is my favorite. Service is ok.

The reason why I don’t post that much restaurant reviews was because of my diet. When I lost that huge fatty pounds on my body I just try not to eat much outside. I love food and will always love food but sometimes emotions just go crazy. I don’t have a thin stick body but still thankful to what I have achieved. Enough with the drama haha :) So my two loving unnies decided to have a Friday dinner date. The comfort food all the way night. Oh yes!!! Headed to Red Robin located at Downtown. It is a fun family restaurant and famous for burgers. A good place for late night drinks.

Yesterday we went to Red Robin's to use my FREE birthday burger coupon hehe! If you sign up on their website (its free) you're entitled to a free burger of your choice at any of their locations for your birthday, which is pretty dang sweet haha! I can't just turn down free food!! It's FREE!! Especially when it's worth $10!! Where else can you can a free meal these days? Even though the burnaby location is closer to us, we decided to go to the Thurlow one downtown, because its the most transit friendly! It's just steps away from Burrad Station and has an amazing view overlooking Robson St! This Red Robins has floor to ceiling windows spanning the entire restaurant, so you can get a bird eyes view of Robson St below! :) This Red Robins is located on the second floor of a building so its a bit hard to find, the entrance is located off to the side and you have take a flight of stairs! Awesome spot for people watching! ;D Bottomless Strawberry Lemonade $4.50 4/5 stars This stuff is seriously addicting. They probably put copious amounts of sugar in it but I don't care, because it just tastes so good hehe! My mom had 3 glasses of this LOL! It was really sugary, but not in an annoying way. They use real lemonade and put real strawberries on the bottom which makes it super refreshing! Meditarranean Lamb Burger $11.99 3.5/5 stars My mom had the Mediterranean burger and she really enjoyed it! The lamb was charred and flavourful (albeit a bit dry) and topped with a generous amount of feta cheese. The olives, cucumbers and tomatoes definitely made this feel alot healthier LOL. They also slathered a bunch of tatziti sauce on both sides of the bun. They actually gave us the lamb burger for free instead of my whiskey river burger, which was awesome, cause this one is more expensive!! So we ended up sav

The burger had a pretty good taste to it, and it wasn't too salty but slightly on the greasy side. Besides that the food was decent. I love their fries because you can actually taste the potato in the fries, compared to fast food joints where sometimes in the fries, you only taste the fry part and not the actual potato.
That said, this place has a bar too, so it's good for adults, but also I think a part of the restaurant is reserved for families too. When we were there, we were on the pub side, there were people chugging corona, and having fun, I'm surprised that they can have both a family section and an adult section but it seems to work! I would recommend this place if you are in down and looking for a place to eat burgers.

The only reason I am here, to collect BIRTHDAY BURGERS.

Easilyfull ordered the Arctic Cod Fish and Chips (everything we ordered was around $12-13). Although the fries were pretty tasty, the fish was incredibly bland on the inside, and rather old, as if it was previously frozen then reheated. Zeeg ordered the Whisky River BBQ Chicken Burger. The burger was kind of cold, which is odd, but kind of ties into our hypothesis with the fish being frozen too. However, she could not get enough of the fries, as they were tasty! I ordered the Creamy Classic Mac N’ Cheese (with a garden salad). The salad was alright, didn’t taste the freshest, while the Mac N’ Cheese was kind of cold, like the burger and the fish. Overall, I thought this was an okay, maybe even solid meal until an hour or two later where I had to make an emergency run to the washroom. I’m not sure what it was, maybe salad was bad or cheese was bad, but my body just did not agree with it!

When the food came, it was nice to know that I could recognize it. (Yes! It actually looked like the photo!!) The onion rings...

I adored Red Robin. The bottomless drinks and fries made me a happy camper. The waitress was very helpful and my friends and I had a really good time. The price was also very affordable, my bill came to around $18 dollars and even though I gave a 20% percent tip, and the bill was still under $25!

With your $12, you also get unlimited steak fries. This sounds like a good deal, but you'd really have to be a hockey player or something to really take advantage of this. If your burger and initial two-cups worth of fries hasn't filled you up, you can just get more fries.
Every Day Is A Food Day
Red Robin always seems to have people eating no matter what time. I decided to get the Calamarvelous since I was craving some calamari. I thought it was just decent though. The batter wasn’t that amazing, and wasn’t as fluffy as I would have liked it to be. I’ve definitely had better calamari before. I never got a chance to try the burger, but it looked pretty delicious
Every Day Is A Food Day
Typical Red Robin food and service. Cheesy and delicious!

The burger did look good though, with horseradish-sauteed mushrooms, gourmet steak sauce, provolone cheese and onion straws . I had a taste and indeed the onion straws went well with the mushrooms and beef. I liked this one quite a bit. I don't quite recall the name of my burger, since it was one of the seasonal specials, but it had their whisky river BBQ sauce (which is patented! ooh.) along with bacon and sauteed onions. I was enticed by the BBQ sauce, which turned out to be just alright. It kind of reminded me of teriyaki sauce, so I wasn't that huge of a fan. Nevertheless a very filling burger of which I could not entirely finish. The choc

Yet another group lunch downtown. We had a large group, about 9 people, so we had to find a place that has big enough tables to fit us all. This time it was a pick between Korean food and Red Robin. Korean was too far for some so we settled for Red Robin.
FOOD FOR BUDDHA
To start, I ordered Red's Popcorn Shrimp. The breading was a bit hard and the shrimp was bland. I did not like the accompanied sweet dip. I wouldn't order this again.

lately, i've been under so much pressure and stress that i actually just feel like giving up everything and leave but i will not because i cannot afford to hurt my loved ones. i seriously hate departures, especially if your close, intimate loved ones are

I visit Red Robin's at least once a year… and my reason for doing so is usually because I get a free burger from them for my birthday. There are many restaurants out there (mostly chain ones) that offer something complimentary if you sign up with them. H
