Sawasdee serves one of the best and authentic Thai dishes. My table ordered total of five dishes and enjoyed every single one of them. I tried Cho Muang for the first time which was delicious!! The Tom Yum was certainly the best Tom Yum I have ever had 👏Both fried rice and Pad Thai was unique and scrumptious. And what more can I say about Coconut Curry🤤 Each dish was less than 20 dollars with good amount of portions. Also I was very satisfied with the friendly, fast and efficient staff who were very accommodating and prompt to meet the customers’ need. Our server was super attentive when taking our orders and answered our questions attentively. My experience in Sawasdee very memorable and satisfying. I cannot wait to go back as it has become my favorite Thai restaurant in Vancouver.

The food at this restaurant was incredible! We got 4 entrees and each one of them were sooo good!! Would’ve been a 5-star experience hands down if the servers had not tried to hurry us up because they closed at 9p. We got there at 8:25p and there was plenty of time for us to eat in peace without having to be rushed. This is the first restaurant I have ever been to where the staff kept coming to the table asking to clear the dishes because they close at 9p. By 9p we were done paying and had to leave because they were in a hurry to close.

Nothing like a meal at my fave Thai restaurant, Sawasdee. Ordered a few dishes and everything was so flavourful and on point. Order the garlic pork vs the beef. Each dish was about $17-20 each. Service was friendly, courteous and quick. Call for reservations as this place is buzzing!

An awesome spot for Thai food in Vancouver! Highly recommend the crying tiger beef ($18). The beef is cooked to perfection and is so tender. The herb vinaigrette goes perfectly with the marinated grilled beef. Pad Thai with tamarind sauce ($16) was amazing. Came with huge prawns and packed with flavor. The yellow curry with chicken ($17) was also good with rice.

Very friendly service, good ambiance and food. Our group tried their stuffed fried chicken, tom yum soup with shrimp, green curry with chicken, coconut rice, and crying tiger beef (highly recommended).

Fantastic food and service. The staff is extremely kind, and the experience is authentic at it’s core. I highly recommend the purple dumplings. After living in Thailand, I’m surprised I never came across them before, so I expect they are quite unique to this restaurant. Also unique was the style of the Pad Kra Pao- it’s usually minced but it was served in whole pieces and a delight nonetheless. A must try for Thai food lovers looking for a refreshing twist!
