What a fun evening at La Pentola! Great atmosphere. We chose to sit at the bar and had the great pleasure of being served by Bailey and her bar team. Take care of her, people like her in the service industry are few and far between. We’ll definitely be back!

An elegant relaxing warm cozy restaurant, very good service staffs and excellent Italian food! We spend a very happy time there celebrate my husband's birthday with our dear family and friends! Definitely will go back some other time and occasions!

Fantastic food, had a great brunch - the short rib and salmon benedicts we're well prepared with great ingredients, as was the risotto - the waffle was ok, but nothing to write home about. Staff was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I've knocked one star off because the coffee was not up to par - with so many fantastic local roasters there's no excuse not to have well prepared, good coffee. Easy 5 star if this improves!

Had a #dineoutvancouver meal here. Everything is delicious and cooked consistently perfect. Dishes are definitely elevated and creative. Service was great. Wish I had a full size pasta plate to stuff my face with and feel full. Wine list is long and pricey.

Services were excellent. The food were exceptional. We had four girls with small appetite so we order some appetizers and two main courses to share. The server was so cool about it and did not make us feel uncomfortable at all. I would definitely go back again!

La Pentola is locate inside the OPUS Hotel in Yaletown and the space is cozy with lovely wall decorations and a great atmosphere. They focus on simple, handmade pasta and use local and sustainable ingredients. I have previously been to La Pentola for drinks and snacks and I was really impressed by the dishes that I had that night, so I made a note to come back on a different night for dinner. We started with two appetizers and their house made focaccia bread (which was warm, fluffy and delicious with the olive oil and vinegar dip). Burrata ($24.00) - This was the special of the day. It was also the special the last time I dined here so maybe they just change up what it's served with.The burrata was smooth and soft as expected. Unfortunately, I think the server misremembered what it was served with because we ordered it based on her description, however the dish came with artichokes and tomatoes which differed from what she said (not the biggest fan of artichokes). Grilled Octopus ($16.00) - I love this appetizer. The octopus was tender with a nice char flavour. The smoked tomato aioli that it was served with had a nice kick as did the spicy sausage. The baby potatoes were sliced and fried so the exterior was nice and crispy. Tagliatelle Bolognese ($21.00) - My friend ordered this and I had a bit of it. The meat blend of pork, veal and beef was very flavourful. The tomato added a nice balance and there was a generous topping of parmesan on the dish. The Tagilatelle was cooked perfectly. Seafood Linguine ($24.00) - This was my pick and it was delicious! There was a generous serving side stripe shrimps and sablefish in this dish. The blistered tomatoes added bursts of sweetness and acidity to the dish and the garlic didn't over power the dish. It was such a delicious dish that I can't wait to have again! Overall I really enjoyed my dinner at La Pentola. Service was prompt and friendly and our waters were topped up frequently. The pasta was delicious and an absolute steal at the price. I highly recommend checking out this cute Italian spot!

Love La Pentola! Just had another fabulous brunch with friends. Our fave "go to's" are the Eggs Benny with short ribs and the breakfast risotto. Our friends tried the smoked salmon Eggs Benny and the four of us split the waffle with hazelnuts. Delicious!!!

Have seen a lot of mix reviews about this restaurant, but I’m so glad I tried it!! A friend told me there is live jazz performances at the opus bar beside every Wednesdays therefore I went 2 weeks ago. Up till now I’m still not quite sure if there were actually live music at the bar because I had such great experience at La Pentola that night which I did not want to leave!! Pleasantly surprised it was half price wine Wednesday. They never advertise that online or I ever seen anyone reviewed about that. Food were amazing. We had mussels and grilled octopus for appy. The mussels were cooked to perfection, super juicy and the broth was delicious. Pasta was also great! Service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for date night or small group. So cozy and warm environment. I will for sure go back again!

Stayed at OPUS Hotel in Vancouver, and dined at La Pentola for dinner and breakfast. Shared the five course "chef's choice" meal for dinner and had the beef short rib eggs Benedict and breakfast risotto for breakfast. Among the best eggs Benny I've ever had. The cocktails at both meals were also very tasty. All of it was amazing. Highly recommend.

What great service! Had the chef's 5 course menu and it was really delicious, salad with Burrata, Atlantic Scallops, Pappardelle, Smoked Duck, and Lemon cream for dessert. Servers were very attentive and explained every dish that came out to us.
