Loved this place and our server! We came in from Texas and wanted a steak. We also had the chicken tacos and fish tacos, both were excellent!
Drinks were great too! And again our service was so friendly and made it even more enjoyable for us!
I'm from Victoria and for years now when I visit Vancouver we always stop here for food. Always great service and food. Was great yesterday :D
I love Earls--especially this location! The staff are very friendly and attentive, Every dish comes out looking and tasting amazing. Also your soap smells amazing and there are a bunch of babes working both FOH and BOH. :)
It was a slow time of day. The brunch to 2pm is a wonderful thing and on a Saturday too!
Food was delicious and the service was excellent! Prices could be a bit lower, but I already knew that before going there.

Great location, friendly staff, friendly customers. Peter the bartender is great
Haven’t been to this Earl’s location in a long time and glad to know it is still there. Got seated in a great location in the booth even though we were only a party of 2. They accommodated our request nicely. Good selection of happy hour menu including a good selection of low calorie beverage for $5. Good selection of food for under $10 including pizzas, tacos, finger food and etc.
Earls has become one of my favourite places to get some Happy Hour drinks. Their food menu is pretty extensive during Happy Hour and their drinks are cheap!. What we ate: 8″ Margherita Pizza ($5.00) and Rum and Coke ($3.00). We were just dropping by for a quick bite, so we ordered the pizza to share. There wasn’t much to say about this, it was a pretty standard pizza. I wish their was more basil, but for such a good price I really can’t complain!
Earl’s Kitchen and Bar serves up brunch on the weekends and they invited us to try all 5 of their signature brunch items on the menu. They were founded in 1982 and since then has 65 locations across North America. This particular location in on the 2nd floor right above London Drugs on Robson Street.
Earl’s Kitchen and Bar serves up brunch on the weekends and they invited us to try all 5 of their signature brunch items on the menu. The space is large with patio seating as well. We were seated right by the window, so it was nice to watch the cars drive by Robson Street.
Chorizo + Mushroom Hash has avocado, crispy fried potatoes, topped with poached eggs and hollandaise. This was the favourite dish of the meal.
Sourdough French Toast has a berry compote, chantilly cream and pure maple syrup. A perfect item to end the meal. Splitting it amongst friends is the best so you can ensure a sweet finish to the meal.
Fantastic food, service, wine, beer, atmosphere. A must go!
Earls. Friendly but slow service (restaurant was almost empty except for the patio).
none of the dishes stood out but food was still pretty good overall.
Delicious Food at a Chain Restaurant on Robson Street. I went to Earl’s on Robson with a few friends on a Saturday late evening (8pm). The experience was really enjoyable, from the friendly hostesses to the waiter to the food and drinks afterwards.
The restaurant is above London Drugs on Robson Street and Bute Street. There is also a patio that was open but we selected to sit in the dining area inside (there is also a bar/lounge area inside with TV screens showing sports.) The dining area was busy with most tables occupied (it was Saturday night after all). I liked the ambiance. The lights were dimmed and the carpets and leather booths, chairs made it look warm.
I had the Cajun Blackened Chicken for $20 as I heard good things about this particular dish from an online review. (There is also a Cajun Chicken, called Santa Fe, Salad for a few dollars cheaper – a lighter alternative to the entrée). In addition to the chicken, the entrée comes with coleslaw salad and warm potato salad. The Coleslaw and potato salads were okay in my opinion, but the chicken was very delicious - moist inside and great seasoning – just perfection. It was a large portion too, as there were two chicken breasts together.
Service was great. Our waiter was quick, efficient, and friendly with just the right amount of small talk.
They had one of my favourite beers on tap, the Phillips Brewery Blue Buck Pale Ale, which came in a large pint glass for about $7 or so. It was very tasty. After dinner we had a drink each – I opted for the Honey Badger – a highball of Jack Daniels with Apple and Lemon juices. Double as that was their Saturday special for the price of a single. It tasted great and reminded me of a Whiskey Sour proper cocktail.
In terms of value, I gave a score of 2, as the food was a slightly overpriced I believe, but not by much, maybe a few dollars. For the chicken, I would expect around 17-18 dollars. The drinks were not cheap but unfortunately similar prices to the other casual restaurant chains out there.
I would recommend this restaurant, but as others have reviewed before, it matters what you order. If you order one of the dishes that they do a good job at (the Cajun Chicken salad/entrée for example) then it is decent value and great food. It’s best to ask the waiter what he recommends. He commended us on our choices. I would return there, but occasionally, maybe for a date or similar, as it is a bit pricey for more casual nights out.
Good _________ (fill in the blanks). Good everything. Our go to restaurant in the heart Of Van. Great Service, Great ladies, great legs, great hair, great alcohol selction and great food. Wow.
Yuuuummmmm. Earls on Top has a modern bar/restaurant approach with their décor, and the
servers enhance the feeling of a welcoming atmosphere. The provision of well-trained
staff, made the dinning and food experience spectacular. Throughout the evening, all
aspects of a guest experience were well covered, and brought the feeling of not
wanting to leave the grounds of the establishment.
Amazing wings and pizza. The shrimp pizza which is always changing names is fantastic. It has pesto, shrimp, sundried tomatoes etc. - it's fantastic. you'll love it. Also, great hot wings and the caesar salad is the best in the world.
Beautiful everything. The food was good although the presentation and the waitresses were even better, the combination were good and menu well priced. Service a vast improvement on the usual restaurant concept, sincere and what you would expect from any top Vancouver restaurant. Pleasant as always but need to make sure the prices dont go any higher even tho the short skirts are worth it (he he). Will definitely be back
Expected. Earls to me is kind of like Cactus Club, Moxies, etc. So i didn't expect too much prior to my dining experience there.
[The Food] - It was pretty good. I tried their prawn dynamite rolls and that was really amazing! It's not like a typical dynamite roll you would have at a Japanese restaurant, it's altered and has fresh fruits like mango inside. Anyone who visits Earls should definitely try that. I had a chicken sandwich was was really ordinary, but what disappointed me the most was the fries. Of course i don't expect GOURMET fries, but honestly the fries there tasted exactly like Mcdonalds. Skinny and salty. So i would suggest to substitute fries of salad next time.
[The Service] - Like most bars/grills, the waitresses are all really pretty. They were all really nice and checked up on my table often to fill up our drinks
[The Atmosphere] - From the outside, this Earls looks kind of ghetto but once i walked in, i immediately liked it. Since it wasn't lunch, it wasn't too dark and i would suggest for anyone to request a window seat to overlook Robson Street
I would go again, i was quite impressed but don't expect the food or the price to by overly spectacular
Great food, great atmosphere. Great portions, NO great views (THE WAITRESS SKIRT TOO SHORT) SOME THE GUY JUST SEE GIRL NO EAT. GO HOME EAT THE NIGHT FOOD.
Can't Really Go Wrong But.... I've been to Earl's in 2 different provinces. Earl's on Robson is no different except for the view of pigeons on the wire outside the window. I had the usual which was the Prawns and Scallop Linguini and it was good as usual but the California Shrimp Pizza we ordered was a bit on the burnt side and the crust edge was thicker than usual. Still, it tasted... the same but "crunchier".
But one thing bothers me with Earl's is that they always change their menu, It would be perfect if they bring back the Spicy Seafood Penne. At least the Linguini is a decent replacement.
Great Environment. Earl's Robson has the standard Earl's menu which is average, but ever evolving. The food and staple of regular items are quite good and you can't beat the atmosphere if you are a sports fan. There are many big screen TV's and the staff is very quick to respond to your needs. We would go back!
Very good restaurant. Awsome garlic bread!
