First time here with my colleagues for lunch. Best french onion soup I've ever had! I have had a few in the city and have been disappointed. Either it's too salty or not enough flavour or the chef decided to do a little French and American fusion with the soup. I had moules and frites for my main and usually I only order this at Chambar (my favourite place for moules and frites) but I read many reviews on Tableau's version and was not disappointed. Flavours were delicious, lots of mussels and overflowing of frites. Frites were done to perfection not too salty and very crispy. So good, I ended up finishing almost the entire pot of mussels and half of the frites leaving no room for dessert :( Oh well this means I will have to come back and make sure to save room for dessert!

This is my most favourite place for boozy breakfast. The cocktails and food are perfect. The dinner was also most excellent also and I look forward to trying Happy Hour.

It is rare to find a restaurant where they get every dish spot on. Usually among 4-6 dishes two people order, there are great ones and ok ones. But it wasn't the case here. Everything was delicious, nice selection of wine and a very nice bartender (we sat at the bar) who looked after us. This was our second time but they were consistent and just as good as we had remembered. We'll be back!

The service and ambience here is fantastic. We had a birthday dinner here and all the recommendations were delicious. We started off with the most amazing oysters and cheese platter. the sautéed mushrooms was delicious, but a bit on the saltier side. I had the duck breast entree which was cooked to perfection, the truffle fries was great but was hoping it was a bit thinner sliced. Everyone enjoyed their mains. I would most likely come back

Love this amazing bistro! We had a fantastic birthday lunch there for my wife, the server offered us a complimentary champagne 🥂to start. Excellent service, delicious foods, affordable prices and welcoming atmosphere, nothing I would ask for more! Highly recommended for lunch and dinner! One last things, we don’t have to more choices on the dessert menu 🍮 🍨 .

The Vegan Lentil dish is absolutely flawless! This tasted so phenomenal, my friend and I actually shared an additional plate after the first and I easily could have eaten more. Super yummy, incredible flavor with a great balance and texture throughout. I also got the Mushroom Toast which was dope! A lot of their menu if you ask the staff can be customized as both a Vegan or Veggie alternative. Its mainly fish/meat based menu as it's classic French dining, but an absolute knockout on the limited vegan options. Staff are incredibly friendly, fantastic service and provide an exquisite dining experience. Support local businesses!

Amazing top notch service. Everyone is super friendly and just amazing! You truly feel cared for :) It was my lovely boyfriend's birthday and they wrote a nice card, and almost every manager and waitress and waiter came to congratulate my lover happy birthday :) it was just too sweet :) Food was totally on point. You must try their profiterole! Dessert. It's amazing! :) I also love how they perhaps read the previous reviews and added plexiglass between table groups. My boyfriend and I felt safe to be in the space.

First time visiting Tableau and it won’t be my last. The only dish we could have done without was the pâté appetizer but the rest were fantastic. Best French onion soup I’ve had outside France. The profiteroles (yes, you get 3!) are not overly sweet. Server gave us bubbly for our special occasion. Bonus - street parking was only $3 for 1.5 hours!

Extremely charming and delightful bistro. Loved the staff as they were really attentive. My server totally picked up on the fact that I was there to enjoy some quiet time to myself and a good book. I got the mushroom toast, a latte and their version of whiskey sour. The toast was EXTREMELY rich. Though delicious, because there was nothing acidic to break up the richness I got kind of sick of eating it after a few bites. The coffee was on point. And though the whiskey sour was nice it was quite bitter but definitely helped to break up the rich flavour profile. Also got a side of their sausages, which was absolutely delicious.

Came here for brunch, it was soooo incredible. The service is outstanding, the ambiance is perfect and of course the food is amazing too. I had the brioche french toast and it was so good. They put bourbon maple syrup on it, and the presentation is wonderful. The mimosas were super yummy too. A bit pricey for sure but you absolutely get what you pay for. Highly recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Have been to Tableau multiple times over the years and they never disappoint. This time we went for brunch and had the Mushrooms on Toast, Le Burger and the Crepes Suzette. Move over avocado toast, mushroom toast is where its at and the mushroom toast here is amazing! Get the black truffle shavings too, it adds a lot to the dish! Because they are located in the Loden Hotel they have very good hours which is appreciated. Will definitely return.
