Came here for lunch over the long weekend. It was not too busy, we chose to sit inside at one of the high top tables. Nice atmosphere and cute decor.
I got the mango arbol margarita to drink, it was delicious, sweet with a little bit of a spicy kick! To eat I got the fish, eggplant and crispy oyster mushroom. The mushroom was my favourite out of the 3, the eggplant is a bit messy since it's one big chunk, probably would be better and easier to eat if cut into smaller pieces but the flavours were good. My boyfriend got the chicken and steak tacos. He did not really enjoy the steak taco, he said it was a little dry.
If I ever visit Vancouver again I will definitely come back and also would like to try their burrito bar.
The jalapeno margaritas and the cute outdoor seating area were the best part of the experience! I highly recommend coming during happy hour (I believe it's from 3:00pm to 6:00pm) for some good deals. For food, I just had the nachos, which were very unique and delicious. Definitely a great spot for a quick happy hour drink and bite!
I think this Tacofino location probably has the best decor. I love the fish tacos and nachos!! The sangria was a little too flat for me or something was missing. I prefer their margaritas. The staff are friendly. I like coming at happy hour because it’s much more chill. Weekend evenings get pretty busy.
Hands down the best nacho’s I’ve ever had. It’s a small location but the food is SO good! Also tried the tacos - chicken and fish - they’re pretty packed making them super filling. I was a huge fan of the fish tacos!
The best fish tacos ever! We needed to order like 4 tacos each. Crispy fish, tasty coleslaw, and delicious salsa verde.
The drinks are amazing! Had a few margaritas. These tacos are to-die for. I can’t find anything else like this in Vancouver.
The ambiance is great as well! Has its own style.

Food: You can’t go wrong with any of the tacos. The birria, steak and pork tacos were my favourite! The nachos were amazing too. Must get.
Drinks: So many different margaritas to try from. The jalapeño one was really good if you like it spicy. My personal favourite was the verditarita. I highly recommend getting a round of the shot of tequila + casita verdita. I have never tasted anything that cuts tequila like that - definitely the highlight.
Only small note to the restaurant is that we saw a couple of rats so I would be mindful of that as some of my friends were very uncomfortable with that. ere very uncomfortable with that.
After some confusion about the name, me and my pregnant wife discovered this was in fact tacofino. Well, I must say the mushroom tacos were amazing. I'm positive these were in fact not simply mushrooms. I do believe that this was in fact a chicken wing taco! Whatever the name is or whatever the meat is....this place was fantastic and a must. Taco on dude
