The keg is always a place to go for a classic dinner , the meals that we ordered were remarkably delicious, the lobster was amazing the shrimp the mashed potatoes everything was so tasty, I would recommend them
Had dinner with friends for a birthday celebration and our experienced was great. The restaurant is not that busy so we were seated right away. As expected, our food was very delicious and tasty. The service was excellent as the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The Keg never fails to satisfy my cravings. Will definitely go back here.
With the sun shining and the weather warming, there’s nothing like enjoying a delicious cocktail on a restaurant patio. Cocktail Hour is now available at The Keg featuring specially priced drinks and appetizers.
Came here for my dad's birthday. Parking was easy, (paid) underground parking lot, shared with UrbanFare and Shangri-La Hotel. It was our first time at this location, we've been to a few other The Kegs before, and found the outside atmosphere really nice and welcoming. They separated the lounge and the dining room area which meant more room for customers. We went in and was seated in minutes. Our server was super nice and attentive, asking for drink orders and explaining to us the feature they had tonight. Our appetizers and house bread was on point. The Keg's house bread is always really good, so good that if I could, I would probably just eat thar and order nothing else. Our entrees came shortly after, the plates were hot, and the food was hot (unlike our previous experience at Chop Richmond). For our dessert, our server gave us a complimentary Billy Miner's Pie to celebrate my dad's birthday and I ordered a Creme Brulee as well. Never tried yet but I would come in and treat The Keg as a dessert house because it was that good. Looking forward to coming back to this location.
This salad was pretty bad. I should have asked what they meant by “garden vegetables” but having giant rings of raw onion and shredded celery is not my type of salad. The vegetables were fresh though! I would never get this again. What I ate: 12oz Top Sirloin with a Twice Baked Potato ($31)

I always tell S to skip the chain restaurants, because there are just too many new and more exciting restaurants to try in Vancouver. Not that I don’t like chain restaurants, but you sort of know what you’re going to get. But since I had a $100 gift card to The Keg, I might as well use it, right? I suggested we try the somewhat new location at Alberni in Downtown and was blown away by both the beautiful interior and amazing food.
I normally can't stand any chain restaurants, however I stand by the Keg. This new location is really nice. I had the Sirloin and my guest had the New York. For the price you can't beat the Keg. The service is excellent and you get very good quality food and good sized portions.
I never thought about writing a review on The Keg. I do go to their different locations quite often, and I appreciate the fact that their steaks are consistently good. But that’s about it – there isn’t much else to talk about on their menu besides their steaks. But this evening I had a fantastic experience at The Keg, West End, being struck by this amazing piece of Kansas City Strip, and some great service.
The great thing about the Keg is its consistency across the country. I had an 8oz. Sirloin with an Oscar topper with a twice baked potato. Service was excellent as usual, food on point.
Food was great.
I had the New York. It was fantastic, my cousin ordered the large rib.
Wine blend was all right
The New York 4.5/5
Ribs 4/5
Wine 4/5
