Great date night location. The staff were professional and not new to the food service industry - I can really appreciate that. Pasta had a wide selection of seafood and the steak was perfect. The burrata and kale salad was a great starter too. We were seated by the window with nice views of the city too. We enjoyed a nice walk around the park after to work off the food. All in all a great evening.

Thanksgiving Weekend, and I dragged my out-of-town friend to Seasons in the Park for dinner with a view. So many things wrong with that. First, the view. Yes it's there, but once it's dark out, the reflections on the window glass can obscure some of it. If you're not taking pictures, that's not a problem and there are the city lights and skyline to make for quite a nice view.

Seasons in the Park is ALL about the view! It is conveniently located on a high point in Queen Elizabeth Park. We absolutely love the view and the setting, especially outdoors on the patio looking over the skyline of Vancouver in the distance.

The food is always on point and we have never had a bad meal.

The prices are what you would expect for a fine dining restaurant.

We recommend this place for a special event like an anniversary and a romantic date - or simply just for the food and view.

QUIET!! most important. NO music playing. Also lots of space between tables. Lots of people talking, but that’s normal, they’re just not yelling over the music. Oh and service and food all excellent enough to have an enjoyable evening. My new favourite. Please support quiet eateries.

Food is good but a bit salty and the view is good but pretty slow service. Looks like our waitress has too many table to serve. Not attentive enough for the price we pay.

I didn’t really want to sit on the patio because it seemed cold outside, but we were ensured that the patio was heated. We were seated next to a roaring fireplace which kept us warm and cozy the entire evening! Not all the seats have the fireplace, and the views are slightly better without the fireplace blocking.

This is the perfect place to take someone out on a date! Not only because of the fine dining experience, but for the beautiful view it offers. Located in Queen Elizabeth Park, Seasons in the Park offers amazing food with great service. I don't often eat here but when I do, I've bever had a negative experience.

I would go for dates or celebrations can work too! If someone were to ask me, this would be one of the places I'd recommend for fancy celebrations or dinner dates.

Seasons in the Park is known as one of the top restaurants with a view in Vancouver.  Located within Queen Elizabeth park, the restaurant sits on the highest peak in Vancouver which is at 168 metres above sea level.  The sweeping views of Vancouver and the mountains from the restaurant are undoubtedly magnificent and breathtaking.  Seasons’ romantic setting has most certainly made it a popular location for wedding receptions.  It had been several years since I last visited Seasons in the Park.  Since then they have transitioned from being a fine dining, special occasions restaurant to having a menu that includes more casual, reasonably-priced items.  Recently, I decided to revisit them for a relaxing lunch with my husband.

Happened upon this "thousand points of light" view atop of Queen Elizabeth Park while looking up from tulip garden. Parking is on the street and valet is ten dollars (worth it if you don't care to walk in high black heels). Bring your elegant attire and happy attitude.  Seasons layout, location and elevation impart a feeling of being suspended in a glass tree house and in the embraces of witty company its true nirvana.

For the entree I choose sablefish marinated in miso and it was glorious on the tongue. No complaints (growls) from stomach either. Next ambrosia to the table was Champagne Chanoine de Freres Depuis 1730 followed by San Pellegrino.

Service was A+ and several diners (couples) were in a trance, attempting to resolve dilemma of between looking at magnificent view or the beauty across the table. Plan on spending an hour or two as time was no longer substantive when getting lost in the impeccable ambiance, service and "At the glass" table (requested in advance) of "Seasons in the Park". Al fresco experience includes crystal (Swarovski?) chandeliers above table and heaters to keep you warm. Wonderful!

I've been to Seasons in the Park a handful of times and almost always had an enjoyable experience. Great service and good food. On the pricier side for dinner, but reasonable for lunch. The view on a clear day is worth the extra money. The only time I was disappointed was when I ordered a caesar salad. It came with giant lettuce leaves all bunched together, making if very difficult to eat. It was significantly overpriced and not very good at all. I also find that the washrooms are a bit small for the size of the restaurant. Overall good, and a fun place to take friends or family in from out of town.

The view is fantastic at Seasons in The Park. The menu is similar (if not almost the same) as any of the other Sequoia companies like the Teahouse, etc. What is great about the similarity is that the food is always consistent. Their Miso marinated sablefish is my favourite dish to order.

As you may or may not know, my sister Nathalie is getting hitched this year. During their search to find a suitable place for their lunch reception, they came across Seasons in the Park which is located within the iconic Queen Elizabeth Park. If you’ve never been, it’s got an amazing skyline of the park and onwards to downtown Vancouver. They were kind enough to ask me to join them for their initial tasting/menu selection brunch and of course I was very happy to oblige.

We had joy, we had fun, we had Seasons in the sun… See what I did there?

The sun was brightly shining in late December so we decided to take in the view at Queen Elizabeth Park. Located on what was once known as Little Mountain, this natural peak of Vancouver offers tremendous views of the city as well as a top-notch restaurant called Seasons in the Park.

While we were waiting for our meals to arrive, we enjoyed a couple of glasses of Lemonade.

The QE Burger with fries ($15 + $2 for the added bacon) had a super thick and juicy patty.

The 10oz Pork Chop ($27) with 4-cheese mac n’ cheese was served with a mango and green apple chutney. The pork chop was super tender.

We actually wound up coming back here during Dine Out Vancouver. However, since it was a Sunday, I decided to go for their Sunday Night Prime Rib Dinner instead. For $37.50, you get a three course dinner including mushroom soup and chocolate cake.

The puréed mushroom soup was quite good and tasted fresh.

The 10oz prime rib was cut thick and melted in my mouth. It was accompanied by mashed potatoes, veggies, and Yorkshire pudding. The only thing that I didn’t really enjoy was the Yorkshire pudding since it was kind of dry.

My dinner finished off with the chocolate cake and I have to say that my meal was really good.

If you get a chance to eat here on Sunday, don’t hesitate to order the Sunday Night Prime Rib Dinner.

The view is amazing from here. I suggest a special occasion or date night. Service is friendly and they have many suggestions according to your taste on drinks. As for food it's west coast style. Valentines is very busy here, book in advance.

Update: brunch is nice here. The view is amazing in the day as well. You see everything.

Man, this place is so romantic with the view of Vancouver. I would always remember this to be a magical place. These pictures were from last year's Dine out. 😊 Super worth it if you go for dine out. Just to warn you though, from the 2 times I came here I feel like the servers are not as attentive with you if you're a super young couple. Maybe it's because we didn't order drinks because we were underage at the time, but after that it was like we didn't exist. I remember one of the chefs knew my boyfriend at the time so he was the one filling up our glasses of water.

Great view and amazing food. New wine list was also impressive.
If you can get a seat on the patio you will be blown away by the view. Deserves 5/5 alone.
Lamb rack and cheese platter was tasty. Fast and friendly service without being overbearing. Valet was a little slow on the exit and would have been much faster to park on the street.

Went to Seasons to celebrate my birthday and was lucky enough to get a table on the patio on a gorgeous night. The food was delicious. We started with a cheese board that was the perfect size for the two of us. A semillon from Australia was the perfect pairing. I ordered the halibut which was seasoned perfectly and cooked just the way I'd want it. I loved the sides too. Oh and the view: amazing! We were there during sunset and it was just stunning.

Looking for a place to impress, or maybe you want to show the city off to friends visiting from out of town? Here is one of the places I recommend for both. It combines good food with a classy atmosphere, and best of all: a one of a kind view point. The “park” the restaurant’s title refers to is “Queen Elizabeth park”. And you certainly get an eye full of it from the restaurant’s location. Cascading hills covered in green: slender trees, manicured lawns, and the occasional bush in bloom. Our group of nine would eventually be seated at one of the larger tables. It was one step above everyone else on an elevated platform, right in the centre of the dining room, and right beneath the cast iron chandelier that looked like it belonged in a monastery. Though sadly, having the most elevated position in the house only made our view less magnificent. You actually want to aim for the unobstructed view of any window seat, or maybe even just a table on their patio. So call ahead and make a proper reservation and a special request.

My first time paying a visit to Seasons for brunch. I’ve been many times for their fantastic Sunday Prime Rib special, but I’ve never really thought of the place as a pre-noon go-to. I guess because I can be a picky brunch girl when it comes to restaurants. (Although, of course I’ll always be happy with Medina or Oakwood)...

Service Lacking. We had a large group reserved for this evening. My husband and I arrived first. We were offered drinks right away which was great. While we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive I asked for some bread, the waiter answered "we usually give bread once you have ordered, but ok". I found that rather rude. Dinner was great and the view was amazing. After dinner I asked for an Americano which took a long time to come when I asked about it, the waiter was rude once again and said he hopes it is coming and it's up to the bar. When it finally came it was cold. I would rate the food a solid 9/10 but the service a 5/10.

A view of utmost majesty.. Well this time I ventured out without my better critical half, instead I met up with my first ex GF, seems I have a lot of them in the dust. We arrive just before sun was setting. The staff seemed very anxious at first running back and forth making it appear things would come to gather quickly. To our surprise the best service we received was from the junior staff member who was charming and offered to warm our bread as it was quite cold. Our waitress was just a tad over whelmed with everything and we had to ask her for the specials. I ordered the salmon and my ex ordered the chicken. It was good, I wouldn't say amazing, I think they are put less into the meal because the view is really amazing.
With the fireplaces burning gas the place was very cozy. So all in all we had a very nice evening.

My new favorite restaurant!!! Attended a friend's wedding reception recently and everything was top notch!!! The ambience, food and service! Though it was a 6 course meal and primary seafood and protein which was outstanding, they were super accommodating and attentive to my husbands vegetarian needs. They made great suggestions and surprised him with a creation for his entree. Since there was a pasta dish as part of the 6 course, she suggested a creation because the main entree would be another pasta. The creation was a couscous with a side of asparagus and brocollini...amazing! We will definitely come back again and again!

Awesome! Thanks to all Staff.. We booked our reservation on Open Table and arrived and all was well. We had an excellent view table. Alana was our server and she was very tentative and had a great personality. Thanks for making our evening so special. All the other staff were very good as well. We were not rushed at all and we felt we had the whole evening if we wanted. Great appies. My gal had the fish special which was halibut. I had the Fraser Valley port chop. Sorry Rob Fennie, Season's was better than yours! A few drinks, wine, dinner and desert and the bill was $145. For the cost I felt the service was great, the atmosphere and view second to none and the food was well worth the price. Thank you to the Season's staff for making my evening with my gal, a memorable one.

Classy. I had made a reservation about a month in advance for a Valentines Day dinner. I included a note asking for a romantic table because it was my first Valentines Day with my girlfriend.

Seasons saw us well accommodated.

We were given the best seat in the house, a table in the corner where two windows met, overlooking the Vancouver skyline. We had a server that was both personable and knowledgeable. When I asked, she suggested a wine that paired perfectly with my main course. My girlfriend and I shared a Caesar salad, she had a rack of lamb and i had the filet mignon neptune. The food was delicious. It was a great night and I am thankful to Seasons for providing me with a perfect Valentines Day dinner experience.

Thank you Seasons in the Park.. This is a nice restaurant in which i spent my anniversary in. Lovely window seats with views of the Queen Elizabeth Park. The truffled mushroom soup is delicious. Along with their Prime Ribs were asked to be cooked 'rare' which was perfect. The service is friendly and accomodating, I observed and appreciated the team work I saw amongst the waiters which was refreshing. Although there was this one waiter who was 'very' persistent on us ordering desserts, even though we kindly declined thrice... Overall a nice restaurant with delicously prepared dishes. Thank you Seasons.

Wonderful service, fabulous view and good food. Lovely lunch with shared entree and salad, split with no extra charge, Super service, ( tho they had internet issues with a gift card I had, this was gracefully resolved..) My friend was served a beautifully plated complimentary birthday dessert (which I had only mentionned on the phone). Delicious chocolate mousse cake.... mmm. Did have to ask for a second cup of coffee but other that that all good.

Great place for a special meal or even on a regular day...especially when the sun in shining.

The view, the view, the view. Had the sockeye salmon special, and it was good, but not jaw dropping. i liked that it was prepared quite rare. my friend got the bone in ny striploin, and he wasn't a fan. the meat was a little tough and grisly - the mashed potatoes were really good though. definitely save room for dessert - the chocolate cake and lemon pie were the highlight of the meal. the view is really incredible - we booked a table on the patio, thinking we'd have the best view, but it was partially blocked by fireplaces. next time - we'd book inside - window seat. fantastic place to take visitors :)

I came here for Fathers Day. The place was packed when we got there luckily I made a reservation and requested a seat by the window and they were able to accommodate us. The view is spectacular overlooking the city mountains and the park itself.

Our server could have stepped up a but more. For the price you pay I demand a little better servicing.

The food speaks for itself, we had the prime rib special, mussles (I don't know what they put in the sauce but the flavor is like having an orgasm in my mouth!), spare ribs, burger, crab cake and linguini carbonara. The only dish we didn't like was the carbonara. There was no taste to the ingredients just a very bland taste of cream. To end the meal we opt for cheesecake which was done to perfection with the right consistency of cheese and cream and truffle chocolate ganache cake.

Definitely coming back here for the mussles!

Best Views of the City and Solid Food. Okay, Seasons is not going to wow you with their food, but they are solid and tasty. I'd avoid the fish (overcooked, dry halibut), but their pork chops are always juicy and their duck confit is always moist and yummy. You can only have two stuffed mushrooms at most since it's a lot of cream cheese. The service is attentive and efficient. I've been going there off and on over the years and while it's not exciting it's always an enjoyable time. A great place to take out of town guests for the view alone.

Food to match the view. It's easy to like a place when it doesn't cost you anything -- a drug company put on a talk for my hospital ward and threw in a free meal to draw us in -- but I would have liked it even if I had been paying. Which I will in the future, because I've gotta bring my wife back.

Start with the setting -- it's almost like the view from atop Grouse Mountain, only looking the other direction. Queen Elizabeth Park is the highest spot within the city of Vancouver, and it's nice to see a restaurant where the architects took advantage of their vantage point. Even on a rainy night when clouds cut off the peaks of mountains to the north, the twinkle of city lights downtown was beautiful. On a clear day when the seats on the patio are open, it must be astounding.

We nurses got two amuse-bouches. One was a tiny tart with a puree of pear and maybe almond meal in a crust, topped with a melted bit of Brie. Delicate flavour, but well-constructed. They also brought around satay chicken strips on skewers, brushed with a bit of mango sauce. Satay chicken is a simple thing, but I've had it done wrong too many times -- dry, burnt, underseasoned... Seasons' satay strips were moist, had some good grill-char stripes, and the meat was tender enough to bite through without falling apart off the skewer.

I must have lucked out with my New York strip steak, because my cut -- about eight inches long and one inch high -- looked better than what my workmates got. It was one of the tenderest steaks I've eaten, and it was so large I bought a bit back for my wife. When I sliced it up to reheat for her the next day, I was impressed at the marbling in the meat.

The dessert, a bourbon-sauce pecan pie, was almost as good as what my mom used to make, and she was an excellent cook before she got too old and crochety to make food at home. The piece was also big enough that I brought some homw, where it got a double-plus from my wife.

We don't live far from Seasons, so I'm surprised we haven't been there before. I'll be back, and I'm sure I'll like it as well when I'm eating there on my dime.

The Perfect Meal!. My friend invited me out to Seasons in the Park - a spot that I never heard about and would of never thought of going to. Although it was raining and I had already seen the stunning view on their website, I was still impressed by it. This cute, elegant restaurant overlooked the city center and mountains, and the Queen Elizabeth park surrounding it was gorgeous. I can't even imagine what it would look like when the flowers start to bloom.

Service was excellent, very professional unlike the many restaurants downtown (Cactus Club, Joey's etc.) where waitresses are hired for their looks, not the service they deliver. We ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms (6) to start - delicious but very rich and filling. I then ordered the Miso Soy Marinated Black Cod, which was recommended by our waiter - succulent, perfectly cooked, not too salty (despite the title) and portion size was perfect. My friend ordered the Lamb & Mushroom Ravioli - she loved it but couldn't finish her plate because it was so rich. For dessert, we split the Sunburnt Lemon Pie, which is not something I would normally order, but again we listened to the advice of our waiter and he convinced us that caramelized top layer would be well worth it. This may have become my new favorite dessert.

All in all, I had the perfect meal in the perfect setting and never for a moment felt rushed. I strongly recommend making reservations before coming up here.

Valentine's Day. My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for the first time. We looked this place up on dine out Vancouver and saw that it had good reviews. It was raining that day, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and the view of downtown was nice even if it was a bit musty outside. The servers were kind and respectful and were at our table right on time to order or have our glasses refilled and plates taken away. The food is delicious; we had fresh kusshi oysters, surf & turf, seared ahi tuna, bc salmon burger & fries and chocolate heaven. At the beginning of our meal, we had a basket of bread and it was fresh out of the oven. We enjoyed it so much we had to get another basket. All in all, the place was amazing and I am looking forward in going to Seasons in the Park again.

Stunning view, delicious food, great service!. Went here with my boyfriend, we decided we needed to go on a proper date, and Seasons was perfect. We sat right by the window so of course the view was amazing. The atmosphere was great, not too formal and stuffy, but relaxed.
I had the simple mixed greens which was lovely, nothing out of the ordinary. My boyfriend had the Ahi Tuna which he loved. I had the Duck 2 ways as my main which was outstanding - cooked to perfection. And my boyfriend had the Miso Cod as his main which we've heard rave reviews about - apparently it was even better than expected. And then an amazing brownie for dessert with ice cream and chocolate sauce - it was heaven. Our server was outstanding and attentive throughout the entire meal, super friendly, we chatted with her a lot which was nice. Overall, an amazing dining experience.

We went with our extended family for a beautiful sunset dinner. Any large group is going to present challenges for a restaurant's staff, but service was smooth and very pleasant. Most of the adults opted for the early-bird special, but we felt we were treated as well as any other customer. The food was superb, and the special orders for the kids were handled graciously. Yes, the view is the draw here, but the room and finishes are beautiful and worthy as well. We would recommend Seasons for out-of-town guests or any special occasion.

Stunning views - but that's not all ! - Update. We live nearby, in the Mt. Pleasant area, so we visit the Queen Elizabeth Park frequently. Many times we stop at this restaurant as they have one of the best views of the Vancouver skyline from their terrace.
But, that's not all. The food is excellent and moderately priced and the service awesome (very friendly and courteous staff even if you don't have a large budget and order smaller items from the menu).
You may want to start with the desserts as they are great and most of the times starters and the main course are quite filling.
You'll always get a warm and soft baguette with butter for the start and that's just fantastic. I could go there just for this !

Recently we have been there again and enjoyed the good atmosphere. The service has lagged the standards we were used to enjoy. But I would still recommend to try it though it is overpriced.

Great Experience. I have dined here three times with groups. Excellent service, great food, and a spectacular view. Wonderful place to take out-of-town guests. Fantastic entrees for vegetarians.

Grayson gets the steamed mussels with white wine, tomatoes, garlic, and herbs ($15) as a must have every time he goes to the Seasons because they are just that delicious. He said that the white wine sauce really brings out the freshness of the mussels and the tomatoes help add brightness to the dish. I think that this dish is what made Grayson fall in love with mussels. Grayson felt like having something new and ended up trying the seafood tasting board ($12). The board was beautifully adored with slices of albacore tuna and smoked stealhead, marinated scallops, and smoked prawns. Although Grayson usually goes for the dip

A Vancouver only view to compliment the BC focused cuisine~ Celebrating my birth early, my friends know there is an added pressure in finding the best venue for a food blogger to review, as she attempts to enjoy her aging. And today they choose well. A destination I wouldn’t otherwise consider, in an amazing setting. Located within Queen Elizabeth Park you get a view with your meal. Though getting to, then finding parking in the lot was a challenge you needed to over come first. I strongly recommend paying for the $8 valet located right up front. Not only for ease, but for its value. Parking in the general lot is $6.50 for 2 hours. We stayed for 3. The restaurant was elegantly dressed with its own cultivated garden by the entrance out front. Rustic in wood and metal it had the feel of a woodsy cabin with the class of a fine hotel. White table cloths, tea lights for ambience, and a vaulted skylight feature over a cast iron chandelier. There was no art hanging, no decorations scattered,

My entree was definitely the hardest of them all to eat since I had gotten the Shrimp Pizza (spicy mascapone, fresh dill, and red onion). It came on its own paddle and all the toppings nearly hid the tasty crust. I'm not a fan of pizza but when I do get it, I get it done right. The greens were all so fresh on this pizza that I felt like I was eating a garden with crunchy yet fluffy ground beneath.
