So much fun! Eclectic and dressy, or casual. Nice people and Live Bands! Awesome venue!
The service, the bartenders, the band were excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. We will definitively go back.

Top notch bar with great service. The complimentpopcorn was a nice touch. The piano player was amazing! Can't wait to come back!
Love the lounge perfect for unwinding after work anyday or impressing friends by meeting you there. Food is excellent, live music always appropiate and catch the odd celebriy next to you!!
The food and cocktails was amazing a bit pricey though
Live band playing was a hit!
LOVELY! Love coming here! Beautiful people, lovely music and delicious drinks!.
My experience with omakase in Vancouver has been limited. I’ve tried Matsuzushi in Port Moody (famous for their $30 omakase!), and Sushi Bar Maumi in the Downtown West End. I’ve heard many good things about the omakase experience at the Lobby Lounge RawBar inside the Fairmont Pacific Rim, so I decided to give it a try to see if it lives up to all the recommendations.
We enjoyed a leisurely and delightful lunch at the sushi bar. The server was so helpful. We sat at the bar where we could enjoy watching the preparation. Every morsel was delicately and tastefully prepared. I have Celiac Disease and was safely accommodated. There is live music throughout the day. This is a gem of a location just steps away from Canada Place and all major attractions of the city.
Must try their four-course brunch. It only $36. Much better than Miku. It is Japanese style food, but cook it as Western style. The wagyu beef taste good.
Overall the service and the food are both up to the Fairmont standards, and so is the price. The wine list is quite impressive, and there are many cocktails and beers to select from. The sushi from the raw bar is well made. However, I find this place popular not because of the food, but of the service, the live music, and the ambiance, which are what we look for in choosing a spot for a casual date but with class and quality.
The Lobby Lounge is a nice upscale place to have a drink.
Nice ambience, comfortable cozy seating, well made cocktails, decent food, and fantastic service.

Back in December, I took S out for her birthday at the Raw Bar at the Lobby Lounge located inside the Fairmont Pacific Rim. In the winter months, they had a five-course cocktail brunch for $42 per person with the cocktail pairing for an additional $28. For the first course, there are two selections, so of course we got one of each. I chose the Torched Wagyu Beef Salad which comes with red onion, sake-beet puree, scallion-ginger emulsion, nori chips and miso creme fraiche. The wagyu beef was tender and melted in my mouth! The only complaint was that the beef was served cold, but I guess since it is a salad, the rest of the ingredients are cold.
This month, Fairmont Pacific Rim celebrates Japan: Unlayered, an exhibition that celebrates contemporary Japanese architecture, design and culture. Japan Unlayered is designed to be a sensory experience that invites one to experience Japanese culture through touch, taste, sight, sound and smell. I got the opportunity to taste some wine and food that is from this theme at the RawBar.
My friend and I decided to do afternoon tea as a celebration. We decided to give the afternoon tea at the fairmont pacific rim a visit, as the Asian inspired items intrigued us. The tea menu came with a box of tea leaves which you could sniff, which makes the process of choosing tea a lot more simpler. My friend and I always choose one tea each and share both of them. At first we choose the mad hatter’s tea and the mountain berry tea however, they were out of the man hatter’s tea unfortunately. There were not as many choices as we would have liked so we ended up choosing the vanilla rooibos.
We went there simply to have drinks and dessert and listen to the piano music. If we had time we would have gone back again. The desserts were splendid, the music excellent and made a perfect ending to a great day. Did I mention the waitresses? Splendid conversationalist that paralleled the South's finest. Did I mention beautiful!
Afternoon Tea is one of my favourite things and I almost always always have to have it, every city I visit!! Toronto to Bangkok, I make sure I hunt down the best in the city. I swear, I literally sit there and google for hours about afternoon tea in the city. I already love tea as it is, I steep one every morning, so a few hours out of the afternoon for some tea and food is perfect.
I am here tonight. And I am here so many times
The waitress wear a nice dresses. The live music is so nice n live ...loud and nice
I love it here because I stay at the hotel every time I come to Vancouver.
I myself tonight so I have time to write something about this place.
It is my only one place I can eat when I come to Vancouver.
Uni, oyster, sashimi salmon are all delicious. A
I don't like rib here,it is not crispy, its is over cook and soft. Every restaurant has there good n bad!
It is my favorite place. I will come back for sure even it is more expensive than tojo or orthes because the hotel is so nice, the front well come is very nice.
I go out every night but I have to come back because the music and the staffs at Fairmont pacificrim hotel
I love random date nights, especially on a Monday, like it's nobody's business. Fairmont Pacific Rim got one of my favourite ultimate chic tables, it's located right in the back, very private away from the live band if that's something you're after. Some days I like to be closer to the music, some nights I rather lounge here with a few drinks and not be disturbed.
I know, you're thinking ANOTHER afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge post? I promise, there's more! But if you haven't already, check out my previous visits here & here. Whenever I am asked to name my favourite lounge, Lobby Lounge at Pacrim always immediately come to my mind. I always somehow end up here after dinner, or in some cases after a nice relaxing day at the spa. Their sushi at the Rawbar is hands-down one of my favourite. It's completely underrated in my opinion. They also have been named first 100 per cent Ocean Wise sushi destination.
My favourite lounging environment for drinks, appies, and afternoon tea. I use to really love Fairmont Hotel Vancouver for afternoon tea, I think that location is more classic. Here it's a bit more trendy but still casual. The girls and I can sit here for hours; talk, eat, drink and listen to the live piano..
Afternoon Tea is one of my favourite things and I almost always always have to have it, everywhere I go. Toronto to Bangkok, I make sure I hunt down the best in the city. I already love tea as it is, steep one every morning, so this just seems so fitting. . When the clock strikes four in England, something a little bit special happens. Everywhere around the city, people of all ages, from all walks of life, are seated at elegant tables and served dainty sandwiches, scones and tea. Customarily followed by white gloves and bowler hats. But lets be honest, it's just my excuse to sip champagne avec Cream Of Earl Grey.
The Fairmont Pacific Rim is my favourite hotel in Vancouver. It is stunning and the service is impeccable. It holds many memories for me as we started our honeymoon here. They accommodate your every need, get to know you, and make you feel special. Even the air in this hotel is different. I have noticed it has floral notes to it. I cannot say enough good things about this special place.

Very good food and service. The table has my name! So sweeeet! Love here. The music start at 3pm. Near Canada Place, easy to find. Very big area.
Like the Urban Tea Merchant, Afternoon Tea at the Lobby Lounge is another place where you should probably dress up for. For those who don’t know, the Fairmont Pacific Rim is one of the fancier hotels in the downtown area which is only a stroll away from the view at Waterfront. For $35/person, you can get:
A great opportunity to have afternoon tea with a BFF at a discounted rate for otherwise unaffordable food for my budget. Chic and modern decor but disliked having to eat on such low tables.
The Lobby Lounge at the Fairmont Pacific Rim may be one of the swankiest spots in Vancouver. It’s so happening that it’s hard to believe that it actually is in Vancouver. The décor is elegant, with sparkling chandeliers, a long glass double-sided fireplace, and a white Fazioli piano. There’s live music nightly, and the layout alongside the hotel’s lobby allows for great people watching – it’s clearly a place to see and be seen. But of course, I’m there for the food. And perhaps the cocktails. And okay, the live music too… Overall, I highly recommend the Lobby Lounge. It’s especially great for a celebratory drink – definitely somewhere to check out at least once.
The assortment of goodies were decadent and so pretty, from California rolls wrapped in cucumber to Matcha mouse cake and chocolate macaroons. Don’t expect traditional English high tea there would be no cucumber sandwiches and fruit tarts… the closest thing was they served were scones, everything else was fusion
Grant Sceney from Fairmont Pacific Rim's "Kentucky Float" (right) with Maker's Mark bourbon and maple ice cream was a great adult twist on a root beer float.
I bought a Social Shopper coupon for a Carvery Luncheon at the Lobby Lounge at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. The deal is good for $20 for 2 Carvery lunch sets ($40 value). The Lobby lounge is located on the first floor of the Fairmont Pacific Rim. As you can tell by the name, it is located near the lobby. It is an open space and has lots of comfy chairs…VERY comfy chairs. It's a great place to have a few drinks, appies and have a good chat or a meeting. For a drink, I was feeling like a non-alcoholic drink, so I ordered the Flower Pot ($8). It's not a tea or anything, it's just a soda. It was really good and refreshing, but $8 was quite steep ..but it is the Fairmont, so its expected. The carvery meats used in the sandwich is cut in the dining room, if you sit close enough, you can see them cutting the prime rib and doing their thing. The Carvery Luncheon ($20) comes with choice of soup or salad, fries, prime rib burger and condiments on the side. We could choose from a tomato and garden
We were out on a mission , and we didn't have time for a proper meal. It was after eight o'clock and we needed to get back to Bella Gelateria before it closed. After our successful night at L'Abattoir , we were in a cocktail moo
the lobby lounge and patio is so exquisite that i wouldn't have lunch at the hotel unless there is a special occasion or i have a voucher. we were served immediately by a rather obligated waitress. she didn't bother explaining to us what each shortcake or sandwich is. there were not many people having high tea so the place was half empty. it is not as crowded as the other high tea cafes. the atmosphere is really nice for high tea, business and casual meetings.
Afternoon tea is one of my favorite activities, so it's my goal to go to as many as possible. So when a 2 for 1 ($35) afternoon tea deal popped up on SocialShopper for half price, I immediately snatched it up.
I have been in for a drink and something small dishes.
I really love the lobster 🦞 caviar sushi 🍣roll. The food was delicious and fresh.
Our server was very attentive and friendly.
As drinks we have la Ranchera which is a very delicious margarita I really recommend it and strawberry 🍓 cocktail.
Very nice ambiance and clean restaurant.
I really recommend it.
A nice place to relax and have some cocktails. I went with a few girl friends after dinner. Right when you walk in, the smell is amazing. I ordered the Geisha cocktail. It is the sweetest drink on the menu. We also got the all dressed fries, they were really good.
A nice spot for a drink downtown. Located inside the lobby of the Fairmont Pacific Rim. It always smells so nice inside with nice ambience. The bar is quite spacious and I loved the live music too. Perfect for a date night or a night out with friends.
Went here for lunch while checked in at Fairmont Pacific Rim. It's a beautiful spot, a nice place to grab a bite to eat and sip on a refreshing cocktail. I recommend the Geisha cocktail. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious. My favourite was the Salmon Motoyaki Roll. The service was friendly and attentive. I'm only giving it 4 stars because we noticed crusted on dirt on one of our plates. It was changed right away and we were given a fresh one. I just didn't expect something like that at a place like this. It was otherwise an enjoyable dining experience.
Modern, quiet, clean, and calming lounge.
The staffs were very accommodating and friendly, and answered any questions I had.
Sashimi starters were fresh, and delicious.
The timing was missed but I would’ve loved to see the musicians play.
Probably one of the best cocktails 🍹 🍸 I’ve ever had! Hands 🙌🏻 down worth it! 💸💸💰💵 Bring your cash 💵 and make it rain 💸💸It’s expensive here! Love it tho 👍🏻👍🏻
the service was great and the lobby vibe is so fun and alive! I went two separate times and had the same waiter. On my second night he took the time to recommend other places to enjoy in the city of Vancouver! Was really nice to chat to someone as I was travelling alone. The tomato soup was sooo delicious and the sandwich was just as good. Super cheesy and full of truffle but it was a little too indulgent for me and I left behind a few bites. I ordered the sable motoyaki roll another night and enjoyed it too
This lounge is always my first recc for post dinner drinks, dessert venue or just a night cab. After the hearty Korean dinner blocks away we walked over and was seated promptly as it was before 9 pm so the crowds haven’t descended. The chocolate ganache dessert and cookies we shared were so good though the ganache won. I forgot to snap our glasses of Decoy Cab Sav as we were engrossed in convo. Service is always top from the host desk to the table. I do prefer the sofa seating but they were all taken hence high top it was. A fun place to be with live music which I love. Their wine list is so exhaustive but the Decoy red was something.
