I am usually hesitant to recommend places, but I would recommend Kissa Tanto to any foodie without reservation. The flavours popped!! The place is loud, but that is a minor setback. The ambience is understated and food takes centre stage. The service is excellent. We tried several things on the menu, and each dish had more to offer than the last. I can't wait to go back and try more.

The ambience, the food and the service, all exceeded our expectations. We had a reservation, arrived early and were seatted right away. Excellent service from all the staff and especially our server Ronny. The food was delicious, really unique and full of flavor. Try the octopus salad and if they still have the Capelli on the special, go for it, you won't regret it.
Ate half the menu and everything was on point! Cocktails, food and knowledge service. Waited almost 2 months for the reservations but it was worth it. Haddock w miso polenta had the perfect salty savoury balance.
My sister took me there for the first time the other day. We didn’t have reservations but was sat at the bar right away and we chose to stay there for our drinks and meals. I very much enjoyed it we got the watch the bartenders in action and all the different drinks getting made for the other diners. The food and drinks were amazing and the service was spot on. They never forgot about us even would pour water in our glasses keeping them full even though we had a bottle on the table we could pour ourselves.

Chef Joel & manager James are spot on with Kissa Tanto. To me the atmosphere is nearly as important as the food. It was clear upon entry that the staff were happy and pleased to be there. The waitress really knew her stuff. The look to the establishment was great and the food was top!

Beautiful ambience, incredible food. We had shared two small plates, one main course and a desert for two girls and the wine was amazing as well - Haywire Gamay.
Definitely recommend to anyone either for a family meal, date night, or girls night.
Everything was amazing. Stuffed pasta feature dish was off the hook. SO freaking good!!! Service was impeccable, after every dish they wipe your table clean, always notice if you need something. Drinks are incredible, ambiance is good.

We went with a party of 4. We all loved the atmosphere, which started with the cool tiled stairway up to the restaurant, so reminiscent of the old Chinatown places, and the room itself, which is modern and relaxed. The service was great and the food even better. Highly impressed.

Our first experience at Kissa Tanto was outstanding! Great vibe, friendly, helpful staff and creative, delicious food! We were there with another couple and could carry a conversation easily unlike in a lot of other restaurants. Our server made great suggestions helping us pick items to share. We loved the porchetta agnolotti, octopus salad and flash fried fish. We will be back for sure.
Was an outstanding evening!!! Did not have a res, but they accommodated with no problem. Happening scene, lively and fun. Excellent service and I mean excellent service. Food was fantastic, simple but wow flavours!!!!
Simply amazing. The food was beyond delish. The fusion of Italian & Japanese is unique but works well. Service is excellent. Too bad it's in a shady part of town.
Excellent all the way. Food and service and ambience. Tried quite a few items on the menu and loved every one for the creativity, execution and flavours. Definately worth the hype. Looking forward to go again to try different dishes but they are sold out until June...
