We celebrated my wife's Birthday last night - truly, one of the best culinary experiences we've had anywhere (including our travels to other countries) - Giardino is "world class fine dining at its best" - Tony our server, was attentive and helped make our experience complete - and Umberto was there to greet us and wish Liz a Happy Birthday! Without a doubt, our favourite Vancouver Dining experience❤️‼️
Bobby generously welcomed us and we were quickly seated. Our waiter answered all of our menu questions and perfectly orchestrated the timely delivery of each course. The chef’s presentations and tastings were classic Umberto. Amazing evening.

My best Italian food experience in Vancouver. Always drive by here and see fancy cars nearby and I knew this place is good lol
Had the luck to sit in the backyard today (first day to have patio open this year), I felt like eating in Tuscany, it was really cozy and relaxing. The manager Bobby and our servers were excellent, top notch service.
Pasta were fabulous, the veal ossobuco was beyond my expectation though it looked average! Lamb rack and halibut were savoury too. Tiramisu and gelato were excellent.
Overall we enjoyed the dining experience. One thing I found it interesting is most of the patrons here are elder white people, I guess this is where the old money comes to indulge themselves.
I ate really good gluten free ñoquis, Good atention, good atmosphere, the place is well decorated and good wine, definitely I recomended it...
Visiting Vancouver after many years away and we wanted a special place. Consigliere highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. It was packed but in a good way. We were seated right away. Our server was Anthony but it might as well been the owner himself. He had a certain elegance and panache to his introduction and how he greeted us.
We went with our two young daughters and were dazzled by the beautiful artwork and vibrant atmosphere.
He explained the Italian menu and dumbed it down for us. The girls wanted spaghetti. When the food arrived it was first class service. The calamari the pasta the white fish and the lobster bisque were all perfect. Even our picky eaters ate all the spaghetti.
For anyone that wants to go out and splurge just one time in their lives…this is the place.
First time at Giardino. The mains and dessert was excellent. I couldn’t choose between two pastas and had a split of fettuccine with parma prosciutto and petit pois in a light cream sauce, and paccheri di gragnano with spicy italian sausage, pecorino cheese. They were both flavourful and delicious. Our server was Andrew and he was very excellent and we really enjoyed our interaction with him. Look forward to going back.
Me and my wife came to Giardino a couple weeks ago and we sat at the table right in front of the kitchen. By far the best experience we’ve had in Vancouver at a restaurant. The food and service was unbelievable but what blew us away was the girl working the appetizer station. She was so personable and made our experience 10/10. Not only did she make fantastic recommendations but we loved watching her zip around the kitchen. She was so fun to talk to and deserved every bit of the tip we gave her. Will definitely be coming back to sit at the kitchen bar table
Came here last minute and we were lucky to get a reservation within 30 minutes on a Friday night. We dined outside in the garden and it was lovely. Our service was phenomenal from the moment we stepped through the door until we left. Our server helped us pick a bottle of wine and is very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered an appetizer, had mains each and shared their tiramisu. Each of them were amazing! I’d come back again for sure.
Very famous Italian restaurant in Vancouver. Service and food is good. Pasta portion is ok. Price is on the high side as you would expect at the high end restaurant.
