Excellent quality food and value, I was really impressed. We had takeaway but would happily dine in next time - it was very clean, really nice quality wooden tables, good service. The Singapore Noodles were particularly good. Highly recommend!!

Just called for dinner for 2 but I wanted to substitute ginger beef for sweet and sour pork, just charge me the difference lol but they tell me sorry we can’t do that? Well you just lost all my business, good job, unreal. So what about people who don’t eat pork? Who can’t eat pork?

GREAT FOOD, Very friendly and quick service . They try very hard to make things perfect. I always ask for extra bean spouts in my Chow Mein order and they always add extra for me . Best Chinese food around . Veggies are fresh and cooked just right, If you go for the lunch specials make sure you have a big appetite , as they are big portions .

We went for the All You Can Eat Saturday Buffet. The food was good and it was refilled constantly. The staff was friendly too. The room itself was very bright and there’s not a lot of ambience. Will go again!

The food was awesome, my whole family raved about it saying it was the best they could ever remember having.
Great service too, the woman was very friendly but not too fussy and from what we saw the kitchen staff was also great. An awsome small town restaurant..

The best "Canadian Cantonese/Chinese delicacies" for miles around!!
There are many "Chinese Style" restaurants in British Columbia... as there are in many other countries-- but this one is really good (NOTE: we live in Penang, Malaysia where there are fabulous Chinese restaurants and "Hawker stalls"... TripAdvisor ranked it No. 1 in the World). Why is this restaurant "special"? The owners/chefs are originally from the "Guangzhou/Canton" area... and relocated to Montego Bay Jamaica. After devoting some time adopting their style of cooking/"food preparation" to locals and visitors tastes they decided to relocate to this small, delightful town. Its now been about 5 years since their arrival... and adopting their "Jamaican Chinese food" to "Cdn./Chinese" food... and they have accomplished amazing results. The food prep is great-- for lunch or supper... and their Saturday evening buffet has about 10-12 well selected dishes [plus 4 different deserts-- including yummy "Nanaimo Bars". (NOTE: seniors receive a discount... and all of the prices are very low (when compared to other restaurants-- Chinese and others! You will be glad that you visited Cumberland... and this restaurant in particular!!
I hope that this Review has been helpful!

Was very disappointed in the quality of food. We ordered the 3 person combo, but substituted beef chop suey for their "signature" ginger beef (for an extra $3.00), which from the picture on their website looked delicious (tender beef tenderloin, lots of veggies). In reality it was battered deep fried subpar ginger beef, with a few peppers included. The whole meal was average, nothing special, nor delicious. I've had better Chinese food at Quality Foods, and that's not even that great either. This was our 2nd attempt at ordering food from there, & our 2nd time being dissappointed, but also our last.

Very disappointing food here. Even the steamed rice is terrible. They have such a good opportunity to be an amazing restaurant, especially in the summer when it's so busy. If they stopped using all frozen food would help a lot.
