Stopped in for Fish and Chips. Being with a native Brit it just called to him on our way past. The lunch special is great value. Fish was great and the chips were good. Mushy Peas are amazing. Atmosphere is definitely worth the trip if the service is a little slow.
Was excited to visit the place, went in and met by a small boy, very cute & friendly. The entrance is great with all the memorabilia. Got seated, picked our order. The food came in a timely manner, my food tasted okay, chips were good, very disappointed in the mushy peas, super small amount for the
Chicken and mushroom pie and chips were served very hot and tasted good, I did not eat my peas that were the frozen kind from a bag. Gravy was thick and from a package. Bathroom was very dirty.
A different crust on the fried fish, but good. The "chips" were also excellent !
Average fish and chips. Not great not bad, just average. The ambiance of the place is great and prices aren't bad. The lone waitress looked like she needed a break, poor girl.

Sitting for 15 min before anyone came to our table, there were 2 other tables besides us. Cold fries and they never give enough tartar sauce, and when you ask for more they charge you. On the bright side the fish was good
