A good place for an early latte or cappuccino. They have a good selection of baked goods although the raisin muffin had a bit too much sugar. The lemon cranberry muffin was delicious though and the coffee was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient and prices reasonable.

Small sized coffee shop with few seats indoors and outdoors. High chairs facing the Blanshard streets are the best with great view.
Hot chocolate was decent.

I love Serious Coffee and the baristas here are always so friendly. There is a manager/owner that is around a lot and sometimes seems very hard on the staff, and I find it hard to witness. If he was a bit kinder to the staff it would be 5 stars for sure.

When I worked close by, I went two or three times a day during week days. The coffee and food are delicious and the staff friendly and efficient. I have also had several meetings catered by Steve and his staff - very good food and value.

Cute coffee shop with good coffee and fresh tasty food. My mom, friend and I came here for coffee and lunch. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious the soup was really good, and my mom and friend commented how good and smooth the coffee was. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was clean and comfortable. Parking was good also.

I go there twice a day weekdays, and once per Sat and Sun. Only two leather sofa chairs by fireplace, my preferred comfortable seating spot. It is busy at 10am and 3pm and it seems to be the coffee place for coffee break employees. Have been a customer since start of 2013 and no complaints.

Best place to get coffee in the area. I am embarrassed that I used to go to Tim Hortons.
Staff is also very nice. Seems to be a lot of turnover, but that's normal for a coffee shop.
PS - try one of the squares in the display case.

My favourite coffee shop. The service is perfect and they seem to remember everyones name and order, very amazing. I go there for lunch quite often to enjoy their hot soup or fresh sandwiches too.

Excellent coffee shop! Went here on Christmas day and the owners were the sweetest people. Enjoyed having a good London Fog and Breakfast Bagel. Restaurant is kept very clean and is super cozy.

Excellent coffee. I got americano but sadly was ruined by the awful tasting soy milk subsitute. I'd suggest getting the Natrel Lactose free milk like others have started getting. Otherwise Serious is usually my Go To for coffee!

Great location that actually has parking spaces in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Those spots may not always be available of course because it's a busy coffee place with great coffee, but there is also free on-street parking nearby.
