A fun diner style restaurant with tasty fried Chicken. We had the Megan burger, popcorn chicken, Thunder chicken and a rice bowl to test out the full gamut offered. All was enjoyed and many happy sounds were made. A highlight of Cook St.
It was my first time here, came here with some friends. The decorations in the store were super fun, and the servers were super awesome. My friends ordered the chicken sandwich, two rice bowls, and I ordered the pork bao as well as the 4pc fried chicken. Everything was really good, I just think that the portion of the food was really small compared to what you're paying. Other than that, super cute place!
Good fried chicken and fries! The breading was a little on the heavier side for the korean fried chicken I've had in the past but still good. The dipping sauces are expensive. $3 for a small amount of spicy mayo. Nice service
As we walked in we were impressed with the atmosphere before quickly being impressed by the food as well I found the chicken and cro-waffles delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. My partner had the Megan chicken sandwich and she found it to have the perfect level of spice. Overall a fantastic experience. The wait staff was kind, the music selection was perfect and the meals left us satisfied.
This was the BEST Korean fried chicken! We ate a ridiculous amount of fried chicken! It was a juicy, crispy, spicy, flavorful, and the right amount of sauce! I had the Megan (Spiciest) and it was spicy but not crazy, my husband had Yangnum? And he said it was delicious. He doesn’t do too much spice so it was perfect for him. The waiter was so awesome and patient in answering our questions and checking in on us. We wish we had found them the first day visiting Victoria! Don’t miss out and make sure you go here!
The popcorn chicken was very tasty.
We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather.
* No refills on pop, the server did not come to check on us
Great for takeout. I got the large padak, and large is what I got. Fed 3 adults.
I have eaten in before too. They have a nice retro old school diner atmosphere.
This place is on point. My new favourite fried chicken sandwich in town. Great flavours, chicken is high quality and generously portioned, good breading. The fries are also quite good (I’m not a huge fry person but these were on point). Well done.
Wait, what?! That was my reaction when I received the bill after our delicious meal. This place is cheap and their Korean fried chicken is so juicy and crispy! The different sauces that come with it are definitely a must try! We will for sure come back when we visit Victoria BC in the near future.
Everytime I've gone it's been fantastic. Great atmosphere and service. The chicken is juicy, sauces are flavourful, and they offer a variety of really tasty sides. My favourite Korean fried chicken restaurant.
