We were looking for a pub this evening for dinner. We drove by a couple of places we found on Zomato, but they were to divey for our liking. Eventually we headed to downtown Unionville to the Unionville Arms. We hadn’t been there for a few years, and it was time for another visit. The pub was fairly busy, but we managed to snag a table before a small lineup started.
SWMBO chose the Chicken Parmesan under their Pub Favourites menu. I’m not sure I would consider it a pub dish, but maybe in this town it is. It was a pretty decent meal, with tender chicken, coated in a crispy breading, underneath melted mozzarella and some marinara sauce. It was served with a side of Caesar Salad and grilled Garlic Bread. A complete meal.
I had one of there salads, and I honestly can’t remember it’s name. It must have been a Southwest name, with the avocado and orange slices. I remember that I liked the salad. 😀
All Day Breakfast!. Love the All Day Breakfast here! Fries are lightly crisp on the outside and my eggs were done perfectly. Got 3 eggs, 3 strips of bacon, 2 slices of toast (white or brown) with lots of butter and a packet of jam, beans, and fries for $9.99.
I met a friend for lunch at the Unionville Arms Pub & Grill. It was quiet when I got there about 11:40am but fairly full when we left. We sat on the dining room side. LeeAnn ordered Grilled Chicken Souvlaki ... she said it's what she usually gets there and it's good. It was a big meal! I had Chicken Curry and it too was good. There was a lot of chicken and the sauce was tasty. Katherine was our server and she took good care of us.
Overall food was great, especially the BBQ Brisket sandwich that was on special. Pizza was decent too. The french onion soup was a miss though as it was too sour for some reason. The ambiance does make up for it though and friendly staff. Food prices are an affordable price.
Very nice Irish pub. They have happy hours after 9am. Good to enjoy a beer and snack after work before heading to home.

It's a nice British pub. We tried the California Chicken Salad, Rustic Faltbread (bread is really good!) and Flat iron steak. All of them are good. Morever the enviroment is interessing.
Really nice place with cheerful and younger staff. Food options are pretty plentiful.
I would have given five-stars but aside from us, I think there were five other tables where the waitress messed up the order. Not sure if it was just a busy day but the service looked like it was out of control.
Fantastic space, large patio, private function room. Great food. Definitely an enjoyable experience in the heart of Unionville
This was a really pleasant surprise.
We ordered wings, fries, beef dip and onion rings, and all four were delicious.
The wings were some of the best we've had, though if you like yours spicy go straight for the suicide sauce. The fries were excellent, just the right amount of crisp. They were just slightly under seasoned, but that's what salt shakers are for.
Onion rings were, again, excellent. Really crispy batter and delicious sweet onions inside.
Finally, the beef dip sandwich was delicious. The bread was fresh and soft, and the beef was juicy and flavourfull.
If you're out for a walk in Unionville and in the mood for a classic pub fare, I highly recommend you check out this place.
